This week, we're joined by acclaimed comic book writer Todd Dezago! Known for his character-driven storytelling and gift for collaboration, Todd takes us behind the scenes of his influential run on Sensational Spider-Man with Mike Wieringo that redefined Peter Parker for a generation of readers. We explore the creation of their creator-owned fantasy epic Tellos, a vibrant world of swashbuckling adventure that showcased both creators at the height of their powers while tragically serving as one of Wieringo's final major works before his untimely passing. Todd shares candid insights about his unique collaborative process, from his work on Young Justice with Todd Nauck to partnering with Craig Rousseau on the all-ages gem The Perhapanauts—a supernatural investigation team that blends humor with heart. John is the son of Todd's Perhapanauts partner, Craig, and an incredible specimen of what being enveloped by comic book culture your entire life can do to a kid. You'd be hard-pressed to find someone who has left a bigger impact on this show in a mere than Rich Woodall. I've said it before but it still holds true today: he's arguably the kindest and most humble creator we've had the pleasure of talking with. He's got talent for days and it seems like he couldn't stop making things even if he tried. In the past, we've talked at length with Rich about the comics he's made, the people he's worked with, and the projects he Kickstarted. Now, since we last talked with him in 2019, Rich and crew have also launched their own imprint with Scout Comics: . For those looking to get their horror and sci-fi comic book fix, Black Caravan is for you. With titles like The Electric Black, Gods of Brutality, and The Perhapanauts (among many others) there's a little something for everyone. Check out their page for more and hit up your local comic shop for some reading material! With all that said, we can't thank Rich enough for all the time he's given us over the years whether it was on the show or at a convention. There's no exaggeration when I question if he's the busiest man because the guy just doesn't stop working. So for him to take time out of his schedule to talk to two dummies about his work really means the world to us. If you haven't already, check out his , consider supporting him on , and look him up if he's at a convention near you. Trust us, it's worth it. Enjoy! -Jr.

Break out your lousy miniature Almond Joy bars -- it's Halloween in Chickentown again! But this year, instead of discussing more traditional Halloween monsters (like Count Chocula), we're talking about Bigfoot! These days Kornflake is a huge fan of Bigfoot from the Perhapanauts comic book series. Meanwhile Kevin recalls Bigfoot's glory days of the mid-70s, when he was hanging around with Isis, the Six Million Dollar Man, and Wildboy. And of course, some folks believe that Bigfoot is stomping around somewhere out there in the real world! But while that would completely rule, as skeptics we must note that there is an equal amount of evidence that "The Cat From Outer Space" is real too.
Kevin and Kornflake are in Manchester, New Hampshire for the Granite State Comicon! Come along as we encounter Perhapanauts artist Craig Rousseau, Tiny Titans artist Art Baltazar, the Boston Ninja Turtle, Amy the Mermaid, classic arcade games from Funspot, Ghost Kitties and Action Cats, Snorks, a Snowpocalypse, and yes, our very favorite Mr. T cosplayer. And hang on, because this one gets weird, in a mid-convention dental emergency kind of way. That's right, Kornflake found a way to make her first comic book show extra-special. Pass the Novocaine and enjoy.
