1 Sammuel 28: 1 - 25. In this sermon Blaque Nubon explores the complex relationship between African spirituality and Christianity. The speaker, Blaque Nubon, uses the story of King Saul from the Bible to warn against seeking guidance outside of God. He argues that ancestral practices can lead to a wrong understanding of God. Nubon emphasizes that God understands the struggles of African people and that Jesus' sacrifice is the ultimate expression of God's love. He encourages viewers to trust in Jesus as the only true mediator between God and humanity. The video ends with a call to repentance and surrender to Jesus.

A woman who walked in faith and how to be a person of faith.
Speaker: Sr. Pastor Richard Parks Scripture: 2 Sammuel 22:1-7 Objective: David credits God with his victories over enemies and obstacles, emphasizing that it was not by his own strength that he prevailed, but by the power and grace of God. He compels the listeners to also reflect on their own lives, recognizing the moments where God's hand has guided them through hardships, provided for their needs, and opened doors that seemed firmly shut. The message encourages everyone to personally claim the psalm's declarations of God's goodness, urging them to remember and testify to the ways God has been instrumental in their stories. This act of reflection not only strengthens individual faith but serves as a reminder that, like David, they too have experienced the goodness of God in ways that are both profound and intimately personal.

Is software eating the nation state? Technologies like crypto and AI are about to fundamentally restructure society from the bottom up. We brought economist and writer, Sam Hammond on to predict how society will be reorganized under this new paradigm and how those in power will respond. Sam Hammond is an economist for the Foundation for American Innovation, a think tank advising policies in DC whose slogan reads, “Build Tech. Promote Freedom.” Freedom and Tech. We like those two things on Bankless - and we're also concerned with the project of how to protect them in a world where software starts to eat the nation state (and the nation state feels threatened). ------ ✨ DEBRIEF | Ryan & David unpacking the episode: https://www.bankless.com/debrief-sam-hammond -----

John 8:31 *So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him, “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples,*INTRO: What is discipleship? Teachers/rabbis would take young men whom they thought had the aptitude to understand and further their message. When these men would become their disciple, they would then live life together. Eating, praying, learning, teaching, everything. The main idea was that the young men would learn by observing how their mentor lived their life and interacted with their family, as well as how they worshiped and lived for the lord.THE MARKS OF THE DISCIPLE * Groups*Eli and Sammuel*Eli was the prophet in Israel at the time of Samuel's birth. After he was born his mother Hannah dedicated him to the temple because the Lord had blessed her with a son in her barrenness.1 Samuel 3:1 The boy Samuel ministered before the Lord under Eli. In those days the word of the Lord was rare; there were not many visions.* Samuel grew up in the temple being mentored by Eli until the day that Eli died, after his death Samuel then succeeded him and became Israel's prophet.* But again, we see the mentorship taking place through living daily together, eating together, teaching, praying, etc.John 8:31Abide - Accept or act in accordance with. * A disciple feeds on the word (3X a day) * Imagine walking through place and finding a feast! * (Jeremiah 15:16)“*Your words were found and I ate them, and your words became to me a joy and the delight of my heart. For I am called by your name, O Lord God of hosts*.” * Buy food but don't eat it * How do you know if you feed on the word? It's what comes out of you. * _*Abiding in Gods Word is a lifestyle.* _ * Matthew 28:19 *Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in[b (https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Matthew%2028&version=ESV#fen-ESV-24211b)] the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you* * _*Discipleship is Obedience* _ * _*A believer learns the word a disciple learns obedience by staying in the word.* _Challenge: John 8:32 * and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”*
The only way we can ever fight our battles is with the armour of God. In 1 Sammuel chapter 17, a young shepard boy named David is called by God to fight Goliath, a Philistine soldier. Throughout the chapter David illustrates the type of faith and trust that we should have in the Lord. By entrusting in the Lord we are promised that He will strengthen our hearts and provide us courage to fight the "Goliaths" of our lives.

Today on Karl and Crew Mornings, the team talks about being grateful for the grace of God in our lives. Karl walks through 2 Sammuel 11-12, the story of David and Bathsheba, and shows that we don't always get what we deserve because of God's grace for us. However, it is crucial to be grateful for the grace of God so that we do not abuse His grace. Romans 6:1-2 tells us that we should not continue to sin so that grace will abound. Being grateful to God for His grace will stop us from abusing it. The team asked you, The Boom Crew, to share a season, or a moment of your life where you are thankful of God's grace. Take a listen to The Karl and Crew Showcast to hear some of the best moments from today.

Intriga, conspiraciones, celos… Pasión desenfrenada en estado puro. Pero por encima de todo, hay amor. La novela no os dejará indiferentes.
