They started the season 1-3-1 and then went on a heater and won five games in a row and landed them in second place in the Metro. At that time. Since then the Capitals dropped two games against the lowly oilers and San Jose sharks. It seems like their accuracy is off as the puck is hitting everything except the back of the net.
