Just because you CAN talk about the Doctor fighting Dinosaurs doesn't mean that you SHOULD! Wait... no that's exactly why you should talk about it. That can only mean one thing – another episode of WHO TRUE FREAKS. Join Dave Walker, Chris Tyler, Andy Leyland, the Irredemable Shag and Dr Bill Robinson as we talk about the Third Doctor story - INVASION OF THE DINOSAURS. Will the Doctor be able to solve the mystery of the appearing apatosaurs while still getting a chance to drive the awesome WHOMOBILE? Or will the truth behind the entire thing be unravelled by the spunky Sarah-Jane? There's only one way to find out!Feedback for this show can be sent to: whotruefreaks@gmail.comTwo True Freaks! is a proud member of BOTH the Comics Podcast Network (http://www.comicspodcasts.com/) and the League of Comic Book Podcasts (http://www.comicbooknoise.com/league/)!! So a wheelhouse is a term used in baseball, which is something I didn't know, and as there was a Doctor Who episode that fell squarely in ours we're back to give you another episode of WHO TRUE FREAKS. Join Dave Walker, Chris Tyler and Shag as we talk about the Superhero-tastic Christmas Special – THE RETURN OF DOCTOR MYSTERIO. Be riveted as we discuss the important issues such as “Where does the line 'Look Rocks!' come from?” and “Is 'Class' going to lead to a school for Doctor Who Companions?” The only way to find out is to download the episode so why haven't you done that already? Two True Freaks! is a proud member of BOTH the Comics Podcast Network and the League of Comic Book Podcasts!!Follow the fun on Facebook!THANK YOU for listening to Two True Freaks!!Feedback for this show can be sent to: whotruefreaks@gmail.comTwo True Freaks! is a proud member of BOTH the Comics Podcast Network (http://www.comicspodcasts.com/) and the League of Comic Book Podcasts (http://www.comicbooknoise.com/league/)!! After a prolonged absence, WHO TRUE FREAKS is back and ready to talk about the adventures of the greatest Time Lord from the planet Gallifrey. And this time out we're tackling the opening episodes of the very recent series nine, "The Magician's Apprentice" and "The Witch's Familiar". The Peter Capaldi Doctor is up to his old tricks, travelling through time and saving those who needed to be saved...but when the person he intends to save turns out to be a young version of Davros, the creator of the Daleks, could the Doctor's compassion lead to the creation of the most destructive force of all? Plus, just how the heck did Missy survive and why is she stopping airplanes and harrassing Clara? All of these topics and more will be discussed as Hope Mullinax, Dave Walker, Shawn Engel, and Dr. Bill Robinson discuss the two shows. Well, Shawn bows out for the second show since he hadn't seen it at the time of recording and wanted to avoid spoilers. So, I guess...SPOILER WARNING! But now that he has seen it, he's ready to give the show a listen, and you should do the same. So download the episode already...after six months, you know you want to! UPDATE!!! As we mentioned in the show, Peter Capaldi and Craig Ferguson were in a "punk" band in the ealry 1980's. Here is the article about it, and here is the YouTube audio of the song featured in the show.Feedback for this show can be sent to: whotruefreaks@gmail.comTwo True Freaks! is a proud member of BOTH the Comics Podcast Network (http://www.comicspodcasts.com/) and the League of Comic Book Podcasts (http://www.comicbooknoise.com/league/)!! After much wrangling and consternation (mostly from Shag), the Who True Freaks gang is back to cover an episode featuring one of the most contentious actors to portray the Doctor, Colin Baker, the technicolor suited madman with a blue box and his incredibly fetching companion Peri. This time out Thomas Deja, Shawn Engel, The Irredeemable Shag, and first time Who True Freaks panelist Luke Jaconetti discuss the best show of the Colin Baker era, VENGEANCE ON VAROS. Yes it's evil corporations, creepy Jabba the Hutt/Salacious Crumb offspring, and commentary on reality televison long before Simon Cowell could be the ruination the the medium. Plus there's discussion of some of the other, perhaps better, works of Colin Baker put forth by Shag, who really wasn't too impressed by the show. But hey, when some of the other shows you have to pick from include Timelash and The Twin Dilemma, you really have nowhere to go but up. So what are you waiting for? Download the show and prepare to la-dal-la-dal-la-dal-love it (my horrible Sil impersonation.).Feedback for this show can be sent to: whotruefreaks@gmail.comTwo True Freaks! is a proud member of BOTH the Comics Podcast Network (http://www.comicspodcasts.com/) and the League of Comic Book Podcasts (http://www.comicbooknoise.com/league/)!! Where can you find corporate machinations, politcal intrigue, and villains in black and white gimp masks? Why on the latest episode of WHO TRUE FREAKS! This time out, hosts Shawn Engel, The Irredeemable Shag, and W. Blaine Dowler are covering another Peter Davison classic episode, THE CAVES OF ANDROZANI, where the Doctor and Peri (and Peri's very distracing..."attributes") show up on a war torn mining planet and get caught in the crossfire of the military who is trying to subdue a rebel faction that has control over the life extending drug, Spectrox. But this time out the Doctor is somehwat sidelined as he spends most of the episode trying to save himself and Peri from Spectrox poisoning rather than righting the wrongs on the planet. Plus we finally discover just what the heck that celery stalk on the Doctor's lapel was all about, and we get our first glimpse at the Colin Baker iteration of the Doctor (so Thomas Deja should be excited). So spend your weekend enjoying the Freaks talk about one of the highest regarded episodes of Doctor Who...right here on WHO TRUE FREAKS!Feedback for this show can be sent to: whotruefreaks@gmail.comTwo True Freaks! is a proud member of BOTH the Comics Podcast Network (http://www.comicspodcasts.com/) and the League of Comic Book Podcasts (http://www.comicbooknoise.com/league/)!! Last Christmas, I gave you my hearts, but the very next day, you gave me space crabs...Which might just be a more pleasnat gift than the Wham song. Yes, rounding the year out, the Who True Freaks of Dr. Bill Robinson, Dave Walker, Hope Mullinax, and Shawn Engel talk about the 2014 Doctor Who Christmas Special, LAST CHRISTMAS. This time the Doctor and Clara encounter Santa Claus at the North Pole, and rather than having a jolly holiday with plenty of gifts and tangerines (what's up with that?!?) they end up in a Dream Crab induced altered reality where their brains are being SUCKED DRY!!! And Danny Pink is back...much to Hope's delight. It's a fun episode that embodies what a good Doctor Who show should, comedy, drama, and a bit of scariness that'll make the kids hide behind the sofa. So why not download the show and take a listen? It'll take care of that ice cream headache you've been having since last week...Feedback for this show can be sent to: whotruefreaks@gmail.comTwo True Freaks! is a proud member of BOTH the Comics Podcast Network (http://www.comicspodcasts.com/) and the League of Comic Book Podcasts (http://www.comicbooknoise.com/league/)!! More random DOCTOR WHO goodness is ready for your listening pleasure as PROFESSOR ALAN MIDDLETON and his daughter EMILY MIDDLETON join host SHAWN ENGEL for a look at the much maligned Sylvester McCoy series, "BATTLEFIELD". This time out the Doctor and Ace get to blow up ancient ruins, immerge from lakes, and face off against one of the hammiest knights ever to grace the television airwaves. Add to that Jean Marsh channeling Bavmorda from "Willow" and not one, BUT TWO Brigadiers, and you've got one heck of a fun series, that has perhaps one of the best makeup effects in the entire run. Today in this BLISTERINGLY HOT episode of Who True Freaks, Hope Mullinax, Shawn Engel, and The Irredeemable Shag take a look at a recent outing for the Doctor, the fourth series New Who episode, THE FIRES OF POMPEII. And why would we be covering this episode, you ask? Well, not only is it a great episode featuring the Doctor and Donna dealing with heady issues (Is it right to save people you KNOW are supposed to die?), but it also guest stars not one, not two, but three actors who all have appeared in Doctor Who in some capacity outside this episode. And the fact that one of them is Peter Capaldi gets Hope's Geeky Girl senses tingling, causing her to dazzle us with theories of how Capaldi's character in this episode and him portraying the Doctor are related. And Shag and Shawn relate it all back to Tom Baker Who, just to school Hope on Old Who. We know you'll LAVA this show as it ERUPTS out of your speakers into your ears. And I promise that's the end of the puns.Feedback for this show can be sent to: whotruefreaks@gmail.comTwo True Freaks! is a proud member of BOTH the Comics Podcast Network (http://www.comicspodcasts.com/) and the League of Comic Book Podcasts (http://www.comicbooknoise.com/league/)!! Does this new Doctor stand up to the previous versions? Does the supporting cast help sell this new Doctor or hold him back? Has Clara gotten even hotter as a companion or is she last week's news? You'll have to listen as Shawn Engel, Hope Mullinax, Doctor Bill Robinson, The Irredeemable Shag, Chris Tyler, and Stephen Lacey discuss and dissect this Season Eight opener. In this episode of Hope of All Trades, I'm joined by my friend 'The Hair-Metal Hero' Chris Tyler! We take on BBC Sherlock season three But first, Chris and I are apart of our resident Doctor Who show Who True Freaks. We both had to miss the discussion of "Time of the Doctor." We take a few moments to chat about Matt Smith's last episode. Then we tackle the new season of BBC Sherlock. We discuss the twist and turns, gush about a wedding that's not complete without a potential murder, get creeped out by the new big bad, and throw in some dirty jokes. I also take a moment to explain why you should watch Elementary. This is not one to be missed! I mention a few times the podcast The Baker Street Babes. If you're a fan of Sherlock Holmes, Doyle, and Victorian moustaches, make sure you give them a listen! You can hear both of us on Who True Freaks and find us on the Two True Freaks facebook page You can hear Chris' other podcasts at The Vault of Startling Monster Horror Tales of Terror and Nerds on Film You can also find him on facebook The official John Watson blog The official Molly Hooper blogFeedback for this show can be sent to: hope@twotruefreaks.comYou can now follow Hope on Twitter @HopeMullinax or read her work at What the Fangirl! Hello everbody...oh, wait, that's Andy and Micheal's bit. Anyhoo, welcome back to another episode of Just One of the Guys, the best Green Lantern podcast on the Two True Freaks Internet Radio Network. This week you're in for an extra special treat. This time out we're going to be covering not one, not two, but THREE great comics in the 90's era, namely the "Three of a Kind" storyline that ran through Green Lantern 96, Green Arrow 130, and The Flash 135. We get super heroes on vacation, super villains (well, Hair Metal Sonar, Hatchet, and Heat Wave, so C-List super villains) with an evil plan (well, taking Doctor Polaris to the North Pole in hopes it will amp up his powers and make him their BFF), tales of sex with ghosts, courtroom drama, and a story written by GRANT MORRISON AND MARK MILLAR!!! And surprisingly the whole "ghost sex" thing doesn't occur in the Morrison/Millar book. It's three amazing tales from a bygone era where DC could mix drama with fun, and to help me along on this journey, I'm joined by podcasting luminaries Michael Bailey (From Crisis to Crisis: A Superman Podcast, Views From the Longbox, and many others) and Dave Walker (Flash Legacies and Who True Freaks) who lend their insight and talent to celebrate this incredibly fun story from the legacy era of DC Comics. So if you've got to know how Conner "hit that" with a possible ghost, I suggest you grab your mp3 player of choice, download the show, and get to listening!Feedback for this show can be sent to: justoneoftheguyspodcast@gmail.comJust One Of The Guys is a proud member of the Two True Freaks! (http://twotruefreaks.com/main.php) family of podcasts, the best place on the internet to find shows about Star Wars, Star Trek, Comics, Movies, and anything else that the modern geek could ever want. If you are downloading the show through iTunes, be sure to leave a rating, hopefully a FIVE STAR RATING, because every rating we get helps grow the shows on the network! Thanks for listening, and be sure to come back next Friday for another episode of Just One Of The Guys: A Green Lantern Podcast.

Year Three of The Fantasticast is here! If we were Batman, we'd be introducing our kid sidekick right about now... But as we legally can't do that, instead we're going to return to Lee and Kirby following our end-of-year shenanigans. Steve Lacey (20 Minute Longbox, Who True Freaks) and Andy Leyland (Heykids Comics, Who True Freaks) are here to guide you through Fantastic Four #54, featuring the first appearances of Prestor John and the Evil Eye, two bastions of the Marvel Universe who definately aren't unknown by most readers of comics, oh no.We also dive into our e-mail bag, swing with Ol' Blue Eyes himself, and imagine the moment of JJ Abrams' birth. Send in your feedback to fantastic4podcast@gmail.com, leave your comments at the libsyn site, or at fantasticflameon.wordpress.com. Follow us on twitter, where we are @fantasticast
Welcome to a very special supplementary episode of Who True Freaks, where hosts Stephen Lacey (The Fantasticast) and The Irredeemable Shag (The Fire And Water Podcast) discuss the eighth doctor in more detail than you can possibly imagine. You'll hear them cover the comics, the books and the audio dramas from Big Finish Audio. You'll hear them discuss favorite stories and favorite companions. You'll hear about some of the zaniness that went on during this time (a shape-shifting penguin and a living TARDIS as a companion) as well as some of the interesting coincidences that occured before the 2005 reboot (a time war that resulted in the destruction of Gallfrey...sound familiar?) So get ready to spend over two hours with two FREAKS who know their Who!Feedback for this show can be sent to: whotruefreaks@gmail.comTwo True Freaks! is a proud member of BOTH the Comics Podcast Network (http://www.comicspodcasts.com/) and the League of Comic Book Podcasts (http://www.comicbooknoise.com/league/)!!
