In the fourth episode of The Power of Choice, we explore the highly sensitive subject of terminating a pregnancy or having an abortion. I interviewed Millie, who has had three terminations and Zara, who is in her 80's and reflects back on the process leading up to her decision to have a termination. My interviews with Millie and Zara are incredibly emotional and revealed a code of silence surrounding this topic. Both my guests experienced a lack of support before and after their terminations which they both described as having left them with a sense of loneliness. As the interviews progressed, my guests both shared that whilst many people acknowledged their right to choose and openly spoke about it, they were equally reluctant to delve deeper. The code of silence experienced by my two guests, and supported by my guest interviewer, Suzi, left me saddened at how we have failed to support women particularly given that Amnesty International data states that one in four pregnancies globally end in a termination.Ultimately, this episode aimed to foster an open and transparent dialogue around this emotive and deeply personal area. By doing so we hope to encourage understanding, support and compassion for women facing this difficult choice.

Here we are again talking about another controversial topic. We wanted to make a point that this conversation is not about what side is right it's about being open to hearing the other side and understanding them. We wanted to educate you guys on a woman's reproductive system and talk about our perspectives and viewpoint on this debate. This is a pro-life and pro-choice talk, not pro-life vs. pro-choice. Woman rights to vote and how they maid it through.
Where is the divine feminine woman?
On today's show Matt got to sit down and chat with an extraordinary young traveler woman Eileen Flynn. Eileen shared her life story with us which at times was very sad, funny and extremely inspirational. Eileen gives a very honest account of life as a traveler woman and the impact that had on her from a young age and how she has over came that to now becoming a powerful voice is society. what makes Eileen's story so endearing is the fact although she has had to overcome so many difficulties in her life she still has love and empathy in her heart which comes across in this interview. Hope you enjoy the show. Don't forget to share with family and friends and please leave a delicious review on Itunes.
