In this episode, I face the horrific social media reality in the wake of the infamous 'your body, my choice' threat. In the dark basements of some incel, a man is plotting his next threat and possible attack. It's not free speech...it's criminal.
A new phrase circulating the internet is leaving women worried. 'Your Body My Choice' starting increasingly doing the rounds following the election of Donald Trump last week, flipping the pro-choice rhetoric of My Body My Choice on its head. So where did this phrase originate? And how has it forced women to reevaluate their current view of the opposite sex?
“Toxic” masculinity. “My Body My Choice.” Culture is full of lies about men and women—and the damage its doing will be felt for generations. Today, Pastor Phil Hopper and I discuss what it looks like for a husband to lead in a healthy marriage, and how a marriage that operates under God's design can flourish and grow strong in an age of extremes. Welcome to day 3 of our Sundance/Slamdance Film Festival coverage! Today we're bringing you two Sundance documentaries dealing with Women's Issues that we knew we had to cover, Plan C, and Smoke Sauna Sisterhood. Plan C follows Francine Coeytaux and her team of providers as they find ways to distribute abortion pills across the country during the pandemic, as well as after the fall of Roe V. Wade. Director Tracy Droz Tragos shares how she met Francine and gained her trust, and how documenting this story has turned her fear into hope. Not only is this a great film, but it is a call to action! For more information, click hereIn Smoke Sauna Sisterhood (winner of the Sundance Directing Award, World Cinema Documentary), we are invited into the intimate and sacred ritual of the smoke sauna in southern Estonia, where women share their deepest and innermost thoughts and secrets. Director Anna Hints and producer Marianne Ostrat joined us to share how they were able to convey the overall beauty and strength of women through both their shooting style and trust they gained with their subjects. This week on Brazen Presents, we're sharing perspectives on abortion and reproductive rights from the Middle East via the People Like Us podcast. Fifty years ago, the US Supreme Court made a landmark decision in the case of Roe v. Wade, which enshrined abortion as a constitutional right. Last June, the court overturned that decision. In this episode of People Like Us, host Kim Ghattas asks her guests: How do the new restrictions on abortion in the US impact the battle for reproductive rights in the rest of the world? And what does “My Body My Choice” mean in the Middle East? In this episode we hear from Nana Abulseoud from RESURJ, in Cairo, on the global battle to preserve progress made on women's reproductive rights in the last two decades. Kim also speaks with Sandrine Atallah, Lebanon's first doctor in sexual medicine, about her efforts to bring sex education to social media, and Sura, one of the anonymous co-founders of Mauj, a sexual awareness and education online platform, tells me why they created Deem, a vibrator for Arab women everywhere. If you'd like to hear more, search for People Like Us wherever you listen to podcasts, or check out People like Us on Instagram and Twitter @peoplelikeuspod.
At this week's Round Table, Jack, Kenisha, Madeline and Skyla spoke with…each other. Don't get us wrong: we LOVE our guests but we also love our No Guest episodes when we dig in and speak in depth with one another about issues on our mind. And this week, political language and performative activism were very much on our minds. Tipped off by a paper Madeline recently wrote about the phrase “My Body My Choice” and how the meaning of that phrase has changed over the years, we talked about the language we use to describe our political ideologies, the importance of “sexy slogans” and power of social media to both provide and erode credibility in social movements, and how marketing and catchy slogans can skew narratives and chill discourse rather than enable people to evolve in their thinking. We talked in depth about the spectrum of activism, and whether and under what conditions performative activism can be a gateway to deeper, more authentic activism. Nobody decides to do activism because it's easy; we agreed that the key to activism is the willingness and resilience that enables us to pick ourselves up and get back at it when we fail or fall short. We also agreed that the way to change is through “slow conversation” that illuminates the human experience, including that of people in the groups we may feel activated against. Hope you enjoy hearing our thoughts as much as we enjoyed hearing one another's. Thank you for listening! --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/nextgenpolitics/message

Austin, Texas - and cities across the United States - erupted in protest this weekend following Friday's announcement of the overturning of Roe v Wade. In a three-part podcast series, Progress Texas takes stock of the damage, in order to assess the path forward - but for now, we're ANGRY, and so are you. Part One is an audio tour through the announcement, and the outrage that followed. MY BODY - MY CHOICE.
Women around the nation cry in fear today as a true war on women has been declared by the Supreme Court overturning Roe vs. Wade. Women lives, health, futures and financial freedom have just been ripped away. The access to legal abortions is so important to the welfare of women. Forced pregnancy is considered a violation of human rights. Our supreme court clearly no longer thinks of this nation's women as human. In this episode my guest, Dr. Laurie Mintz (the author of Becoming Cliterate) and I discuss some of the impact overturning Roe v Wade will have on the lives of women and children and how beyond devastate it is. On December 31, 2019, the Lord spoke to me and said, "I am ending abortion in America." I could feel the finality in the tone of His voice. There is nothing that can be done to reverse this edict. No further comment, prayer, argument or discussion is needed to convince the Lord. He will have His way. Yes, the Lord will still instruct His saints about spiritual warfare that will be required on our part. Yes, we should still come to Him with praise and thanksgiving, but we no longer need to petition the matter; we only need to submit to this move of God. There will still be much tribulation that will follow, and the overturning of Roe v. Wade will be the first of many dominoes. Since this word was spoken by the Spirit of God, I have paid close attention so that I could witness the fulfillment of His word. He has revealed to me that this will be one of many issues that will continue to divide our nation as the decision will be sent down to the state level. Pro-life states will advance to sanctuaries for the unborn. Pro-abortion states will upgrade to pro-infanticide states. My body, my choice will advance to my life, my choice. Suicide will become "their truth" just as sexual mutilation has, and "post-pregnancy fetuses" will be conveniently traded for a profit. But this will not last. The righteous will not allow these atrocities to continue, and the Supreme Court will be faced with a decision. Similar to the ending of slavery, either criminalize the murder of the unborn or witness a civil war. There can be no bi-partisanship. You can't agree with a spirit of death and pretend to limit murder to the unborn. I believe that these are two prophetic paths that could be taken, depending on the choices of men and women in power. Either way, abortion will come to an end. It's the nature of the kingdom. Light and darkness both advance, but one, in every situation, will be overtaken. On June 12, 2022, I received another prophetic word about this matter. I heard the Lord say, "This next generation will be a Samuel generation dedicated to the Lord." As I heard this, revelation flooded my mind. As we see in 1 Samuel chapter one, Hanna was barren and without child. Drunk with sorrow, she vowed that if God were to give her a child, then she would dedicate him to the Lord. In those days, the sons of Eli had made a mockery of the house of the Lord. This represents our current generation. The sons of Eli had become greedy by taking meat from the sacrifice that they were not to touch. They even took the fat of the meat by force. America has become greedy by compromising the sovereignty of our nation through national debt. The sons of Eli were laying with the women serving at the entrance to the tent of meeting. American politicians have allowed their nation that was founded through covenant with the Lord to be given over to sexual immorality. As Eli said to his sons, "If someone sins against a man, God will mediate for him, but if someone sins against the Lord, who can intercede for him?" God's punishment was that every man of Eli's family shall never be an old man. In other words, the lineage of the generation of Eli that has allowed America to fall into corruption will end with Samuel (the first generation in America born under the criminalization of abortion). I can see an army of intercessors, advocates of the unborn, led by Jesus, standing before the throne. You may be one of them. You have been begging God for a generation of babies that would not be sacrificed on the altar of Baal. Our nation has become barren, but God is answering the prayer of Hannah. The Judge has heard the request from His son. If God would end abortion in the earth, beginning with America, then Samuels, who spend their days in the presence of the Lord, would flood the nations. Just as God gave Jesus away at His birth, so too will the Hannah's of intercession give away an entire generation. They will cause our nation to rise to a level of kingdom glory that God has destined for America. In this episode we discuss the 'My Body My Choice" conversation, as it pertains to reproductive rights. We also ask should the village that men and women come from have input as to who they procreate since it is those offspring that will either adversely or positively contribute to the world in and outside of their immediate families. We discuss this and much more.
Please prayerfully consider if this episode is for you. If you are struggling with grief or trauma post an abortion, please know there is help available. There is more to diet culture than what it looks like on the surface. For many women, there is a real struggle in keeping up with the perfect body image that was either ingrained in us through generations or a pressure we put on ourselves for different reasons. The influence of mass media and social media marketing plants a strong subconscious desire that to be desirable and worthy, one must be within a specific weight range, body shape, or a prescribed look. We tend to measure ourselves through the measuring stick to create the perfect person. But there is no one-size-fits-all standard for health and lifestyle. Over the years, following diet cultures, fitness, and beauty regimens have proven to be tiring and unsustainable. What happens when these norms do not sit well with our body structure and way of life? How do we drop these standards? Can we create our own measuring stick? Can we escape the endless hamster wheel of diet fads, fitness programs, and whatnot? If these don't seem to work, then what will?Stay tuned and get some tips towards a holistic approach to health and lifestyle that would fit in regardless of what struggles and goals you may have. Click here to get access to Amanda's FREE course - 3 Steps to Stop Emotional Eating: https://www.amandahallam.com/3-steps-to-stop-emotional-eating Episode Challenge:Amanda's challenge:Go through your social media and ask yourself if that particular person that you're following is really serving you. And are they representing you? Are they representing something that you want to be? Or, are they just showing you the perfect moments that are fractions of their life, and you have no idea what the behind-the-scenes look like? Claudine's challenge:A healthy lifestyle may look different for every person. We came from different paths. Our bodies may have undergone different challenges that won't be what it is right now if not for the rigors of life.Celebrate a win now that you have created your measuring stick. This whole conversation imparts that we can either hand our power over and say, “they have the measuring stick” or “I have the measuring stick to celebrate my wins.” Marc's challenge:Find a small reason to celebrate, but also remind somebody else to celebrate even the littlest things so that we make it relational and that we don't always have to do it alone. Lauren & Rebecca take on a topic that affects all of us: abortion rights. From the bible to the talmud, the ancient world to the lack of access today. Sea shanties, all of the UK being forced to travel to England, the grim situation in Eastern Europe, and the beauty of women standing in solidarity of other women - like when a 16 y/o girl in N. Ireland in 2016 was arrested for buying abortion pills online and hundreds and hundreds of activists turned themselves in at police stations, claiming they too had done this. On Patreon they tell their own stories of abortions - Rebecca has 6. This episode sponsored by Curious Elixers. Use code BRUTAL22 for a discount. @BrutalVulnerability

This particular Covid testing is not sensitive orspecific. Therefore what you can get are high rates of false positives and negatives.• Thus following if the numbers are inflated and there aren't truly that many cases, then themortality rate is actually higher. But the reported deaths in the hospitals are very well inflated as well. Ultimately itprobably evens out to be somewhere around 1.5% or lower.• Also consider the attack on PCP not being allowed to treat outpatients• It's assumed 85% of people who died could have been saved if doctors wouldhave been allowed to actually practice medicine. Their patients died because they were denied treatment or forced to fit the patient into a failing protocol• Can cause chronic issues Typical testing of vaccines (length and methods) vs Covid and number ofvaccine injuries before a product was pulled from the market vs covid• Used to take roughly 7 years to actually manufacture a vaccine• Typically there is a minimum 2 year period for trials to determine sub-acute and chronicadverse effects like geno-toxicity, cancer, birth defects, etc• Start with animal studies to rule out alarming short term complications• Stopped working on RSV vaccine when 22 infant deaths• Stopped working on H1N1 after 53 deaths and Guillan-barre, roughly 550 cases• This vaccine is producing nearly 53 presumed deaths a day, that haven't been fullyassessed for actual cause• In such a short turn around time, no studies could be done to assesschronic adverse events, nor can effectiveness be determined in such shortperiod• In the studies that were done, recruited patients that weren't beingexposed to covid were younger and healthy. And much like other vaccine trials theydidn't have a true placebo for control group What is different about this vaccine?• Very obviously an agenda• December 10th: “Trusted news initiative,” via BBC announcement• We are only going to publish info that promotes vaccines and stopanything that creates vaccine hesitancy, ie; no talk of vaccine safety or effective early/ outpatient treatment• YouTube, FB, local and national and global news censorship• Informed consent actuality vs, what should we be informed of with integrity• Declaration of health safety in US and UK: abide by Law of autonomy: NOONE will have anything forced in to their body based on coercion or peer-pressure, fear of reprisal• True informed consent is talking about the risks and benefits so you canmake an educated decision• Vaccine that now has 15% effectiveness with these new variants• And high risks such as embolism, myocarditis, cancer, infertility, etc What's the difference between vaccines and what does FDA approval actual mean?• Old vaccines: dead/live-attenuated virus or protein• New technology• mRNA technology• Discovered in the 80's, Dr. Robert Malone on team• Patented for 20 years and failed every time at creating anything effective• J&J: adenovirus vector (triple ) code for original spike protein• Tricks body into making spike protein; basically dumbs down your own immunesystem• Moderna 100 mcg mRNA, Pfizer 30mcg mRNA, J&J and Astrazeneka =adenovirus particles (not mRNA)• They made it to last (with nucleoside caps) and loading it on a charged lipid nanoparticle.• They said it would stay (localized) for only a few days (short term).• Japan denied use of Pfizer vaccine when they couldn't prove it waslocalized/ stayed in arm.• Therefore it is distributed to the entire body- lipid particles found as well asfree spike protein.• Body will attack the cells that have the spike protein.• Now research shows the spike protein existing 9 months later and in blood/body fluids• Very high affinity for ovaries and adrenal glands and bone marrow.• Long term effects: infertility, cancer• FDA/ Dr. Malone: will see in 6 months, 3 years, 6 years if actually causescancer• Signs of potential carcinogenic, thrombocytopenia, reactivation of latentvirus (shingles, retroviruses)• Now we are starting to see increase incidences of tumors• FDA approval of the Pfizer vaccine• Mainstream media promoting what the government wants them to say which makespeople feel safe.• 2 approval letters• Authorization to market in response to biologic application• Extension for emergency use authorization• Pfizer has legally created two vaccines, the one we know of that has beenapproved for emergency use, and the other that is being made which the FDAbasically gave authorization to market as it becomes available.• (German product distributed by Pfizer) Commernity is licensed withconditions (not currently available). They have just approved the label on itand documentation as possible adverse events. This is available in othercountries.• Full indemnification for emergency use vaccines• But for FDA approved, means there isn't a full indemnification- it's possiblesee some financial support if you have damage from vaccine• Currently they are not mandating this particular vaccine- out of the 3.• Which ones are safest for seniors, women of childbearing years, or pregnantwomen?• Moderna vaccine study in animals- lowered fertility. The FDA would notinclude women of childbearing years or in pregnant women in the study due to possible negative side effects• Graphene oxide is not listed as ingredients- very important to note • Shedding and why• FDA has said that it is possible for those who have a weaker immune system tocontinue to produce the spike proteins and constantly shed it• Breakdown of the risks associated and adverse event reporting:• Who is monitoring our government?• No independent safety committees• Even with huge increase in deaths, this is nothing we have ever seen in the field of medicine• Nothing was being done about it by FDA or a committee• Early this year a reported possible 1,600 deaths• FDA/CDC appointed doctors (not board certified and not out-sourced). These doctors declared that ZERO deaths were from the vaccine• In normal circumstances, it would take 18 months minimum to review• Study McLachlan and Scott showed 86%+ had no other possiblecauses than the vaccine• J&J claimed 3 deaths from blood clots. VAERS reports 47- so how many is it really?• Multiple patients feeling fatigued after vaccine (adrenal glands)• D-dimer tests after the vaccine - 63% had clotting• His theory is that in the future they will get right sided heart failurewith pulmonary HTN.• This could be potentially 60% of the population in the next fewyears with congestive heart failure.• Myocarditis has a 60% 5 year mortality rate• Infertility not being reported What are the current numbers according to different entities, ie cdc, vaers, etc?• https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/safety/adverseevents.html• On VAERS reporting, with all vaccines combined, about 158 deaths totalreported in a year• January: 182 deaths, 455 hospitalizations, 1,700 emergency room visits• As of September, 386 million doses• Myocarditis, 1,491 (in people

"My Body My Choice" is the feminist Mantra, and rightfully so. But why abortion? Especially when there are at least 12 different contraceptives available for women to prevent this drastic measure, why aren't feminists pushing the empowerment of Prevention rather than this drastic cure? Why, after so many options, including the morning-after pill, are so many women convinced that abortion is their only option? Is it because Abortion disproportionately affects the black community, and maybe there is a market for harvested fetuses? Perhaps I am overthinking. As we move toward the future, I wonder, why should abortion be the big fight? Shouldn't the fight be about taking responsibility for your own body and not allowing yourself to be in a position to make these choices? After all, isn't this the choice for women who didn't have agency? The Supreme Court was right to uphold the ban. What do you think? Dan and Corey start by naming the 13 Service Members killed at the Kabul airport at the hands of ISIS during the evacuation. This episode is dedicated to them and the countless others killed in service to America in Afghanistan since 2001.PLEASE stop using these 13 deaths to virtue signal a culture war narrative about "BIDEN BAD"!! (We already know Biden is bad...) And please stop using them to perpetuate a neocon, forever war narrative. Unless you can tell us ways in which it is not gross to do so. We're all ears @libservativepod and at libservativepod@gmail.com.Donald Trump wants us to go back to Afghanistan to recover our toys. Oops...left the Tonka Trucks in the wrong sandbox! In this week's "Red Pill - Blue Pill" segment...the topic is..."My Body My Choice." Vaccine mandates vs Abortion rights as Texas get's the go ahead to implement a very controversial abortion law while vaccine mandates are still a hot-button topic. Hurricane Ida. Corey and Dan predict how the narrative will go moving into next week for the polarized, radical idealogues on the left and right!
In today's episode I go deep on a couple films: Suicide Squad and Match Point. And then I address the elephant in the room: the v****** mandate in Philly.
"My Body My Choice" is a slogan - not a law. Vaccination is about public health - not politics. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

CW: We make brief reference to eating disorders in this episode. We talk about our weight, mostly about gaining it, plus guilt over not working out (okay, mostly Joselyn does). Even though we do not promote the toxic preoccupation with culturally-imposed unattainable beauty standards in this episode, we also acknowledge that discussing the subject at all can be super stressful and triggering. So join us if that's where you're at, and if it's not then you just skip it and go do something nice for yourself. Maybe a bath. Or a face mask. Or listen to some good music. We got some unpopular opinions from you guys that needed a bit more unpacking than a simple yes/no breeze through. The Death Penalty, Vaccines, Politics, My Body/My Choice... Honestly, maybe an episode just asking for us to be cancelled, but if we don't talk through this stuff how can we decide where we eventually land? Have a great week, friend. XOXO

Good Morning, Colorado, and welcome to the Daily Sun-Up. It’s Monday December 14th, and we’re feeling lucky to start the day with you. Join us daily for an in-depth look at one of our top stories. Today, we’re discussing how state officials are looking to extend leases for alternate care sites. While at the same time, Hospitals are activating “surge plans” to increase their capacity. Before we begin, let’s go back in time with some Colorado history adapted from historian Derek R Everett’s book “Colorado Day by Day”: Today, we take you back to December 14th, 1948 when Commissioners from both Colorado and Kansas signed the Arkansas River Compact. Prior, the line between Colorado and Kansas had inspired generations of tension and court battles. And now, our feature story. Colorado’s three remaining hospital overflow sites were originally set to close in January. But now, state officials are working to extend leases and line up staff. They’re still worried about the worst-case scenario they planned for nine months ago. Two of the original five alternate care sites were dismantled back in October. And in the remaining three - the Colorado Convention Center and two other sites - The hospital beds have been empty for months. Still, the Colorado Office of Emergency Management is working on a contract extension. It’s a sign that even as the first doses of the coronavirus vaccine are on their way to Colorado, public health officials remain concerned that the crisis could get worse through the holiday season and the rest of winter. Colorado Sun reporter Jennifer Brown is joining us today to talk more about the situation. Jennifer, can you start by giving us some more background on these overflow hospitals? When were they built? So, now that those two sites have closed can you talk more about the plans for the remaining three? And how much is this costing the state? Thanks, Jennifer. The state’s unified command center now gets hospital capacity reports daily — sometimes more — so officials can make a fast decision if they need to launch operations at one of these alternate care sites. It would take about 14 days to get one ready to accept patients. And across the state have been closer to reaching capacity. Closer in the last few weeks than any time so far in the pandemic. A few reached near 90% of capacity in late November and early December. One — Park View Medical Center in Pueblo — was so full that it reached out for help. The distress call resulted in 20 patients leaving Park View for other hospitals with vacant beds. A hospital collaborative was also activated last month. This allows hospitals to transfer patients to medical centers not only within the same hospital system but to other systems, too. This network is part of the state’s effort to avoid opening the alternate care sites. And thank you all for listening. Finally, here are a few stories you should know about today: This was an extra bad week for Coloradans who lost their jobs at the start of the pandemic. We just ended week 39 — the maximum number of weeks one is eligible for unemployment pay currently. The U.S. gave the final go-ahead Friday to the nation’s first COVID-19 vaccine, doses could arrive in Colorado in days. The Legislative Audit Committee, which is led by Republicans, will hold a hearing Tuesday to investigate alleged election discrepancies in Colorado. There’s no proof there were any. Colorado’s review of the Catholic Church sex abuse named priests, but not those who covered up their crimes. Victims say the whole story hasn’t been told. For more information on all of these stories, visit our website, www.coloradosun.com. Now, a quick message from our editor. We at WYP are pro-choice and have gathered incredible statistics to support women who make that choice. We discuss options, such as birth control, her experience before during and after the abortion and we go into detail about the different kinds made available to women. The Nazis had a phrase which covered all abuses by the State:"für Ihre Sicherheit""It's For Your Safety"The Law (Mask Police?) was Called on Peter Boykin because due to breathing issues he was unable to "just put on the damn mask" at a local McDonalds.Article: https://gorightnews.com/wear-a-mask-or-go-to-jail-says-local-mcdonalds-mmmm-mmmm-mmmmm-not-loving-it-should-you/Here are the statements of Peter Boykin about the situationI just left the Old Fort McDonalds where "Archer" almost physically assaulted me and called the law on for me because I did not wear a mask! Is this what America is coming to? Those of you who wish to fight back against tyranny and corporate virtue signaling.https://youtu.be/eg3fCLYjDbEFeel free to voice your concerns to the store and McDonald's corporate.Their address is548 Bat Cave Rd, Old Fort, NC 28762Number +1 828-668-9531I did not expect this to happen so I did not catch the initial encounter. I entered the store and no one was inside. The counter has plastic social distance shielding. He said I will be with you... Before he would take my order he asked me if I had a mask I told him I do not as I am unable to wear due to my breathing issues with borderline asthmatic issues. He said he has it too and they require him to wear a mask and I had to as well or get out of his store. I told him under the mask mandate I was under the first exception for medical reasons. He then yelled over me and told me to wear a mask or get the hell out of his store. I again said the law states I am under the exception. He then got louder I asked for his name he said, Archer. I walked away to get off the phone to record before that he comes around the counter got within 1 foot of me and loudly pointed to the door and yelled get the hell out.Other employees came to calm him down. I said I will be calling corporate. He then said he was calling the police. I went outside turned on my camera to document this. This is the recording. I have recording talking to the police afterward I will put in a podcast asap when I get home.https://www.spreaker.com/user/9922149/wear-a-mask-or-go-to-jail-online-audio-c#GoRight for AmericaIT'S JUST A MASK. IT'S JUST A VACCINE“In 4 months, the U.S. transformed into an obedient socialist country. The government dictated what events are acceptable to attend. Violent protests that instill fear are OK but church services, family funerals, and patriotic celebrations are dangerous. And you bought it without a fight.Standing in a graduation line is a "safety hazard". Small businesses were forced to close but crowds to support the corporate money machine at Walmart, Lowes, and Home Depot are OK.Come on. It's "just a mask" & "safety precautions".How about a little hush money. Here's $2,400 that we stole out of your paycheck in the first place. Enjoy. Buy something with it. From a big corporation.Cash is dirty. We can't give change. There's a coin shortage. Use your card. In 4 months, they convinced you to use a traceable card for everything. In less than 4 months, the government closed public schools and then "restructured" education under the guise of "public safety". In less than 4 months, our government demonstrated how easily people assimilate to "guidelines" that have NO scientific premise whatsoever when you are fearful. In less than 4 months, our government successfully instilled fear in a majority of the population in America that allows them to control every aspect of your life. Including what you eat, where you go, who you see, and your toilet paper. And the most dangerous and terrifying part? People are not afraid of the government that removed their freedom. They're afraid of their neighbors, family, and friends. And they hate those who won't comply. It's absolutely terrifying to me that so many people don't question "authority". They are willing to surrender their critical thinking skills and independence. They just... gave up without thinking. Without a fight.Do you know what's coming next?"It's just a vaccine. Come on. It's for the greater good".Wait until you're told that you can't enter any store or business without proof of the Covid-19 vaccine. Wait until you can't go to public events or get on a plane without proof of receiving the vaccine. To everyone that doesn't believe this is possible - DO YOU UNDERSTAND that government successfully dictated to people WHEN they were allowed to be outside, where they were allowed to go, and how their children would be educated in less than 4 months? And that a majority of the population followed blindly because they were told to do so.You're kidding yourself if you think this behavior won't be repeated with a vaccine. Or whatever the next step is."I don't follow politics.""Who cares about that stuff?""I don't like to think about it."They got you. Without a thought. Without a fight. Just like France. Just like Russia. Just like China. Welcome, comrade. (author unknown)Masks are Political, they are also a discussion everyone is having. Ironically the Left has been saying My Body My Choice over the Abortion issue... yet when the Right applies this to Vaccines and now Mask wearing we are told to shut up and do it for our own good.Just what are the laws on forcing mask-wearing? Can a business refuse you service? We look at this. What is the Constitutional Right to Refuse Service?According to the Federal Civil Rights Act of 1964, no business serving the public, even if it’s privately owned, can discriminate because of a customer’s national origin, religion, color, or race. The Americans with Disabilities Act prevents a business’s right to refuse service based on a customer’s disability. As numerous jurisdictions now mandate citizens to wear face masks in public, many retailers have begun requiring customers to cover their faces as a safety measure to mitigate against the spread of COVID-19 among employees and fellow customers. Retailers intending to enforce a policy whereby it will turn away customers who refuse to wear face masks should be mindful of abiding by Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act (“ADA”), which governs retails stores as a place of public accommodation. Some would argue that they have allowed alternative ways to order such as curbside and drive through. I would have to argue that going into an empty airconditioned store to order quickly rather than sit in a long drive through in the heat to get an order is an inconvenience that someone with a medical condition/disability should NOT have to go through. Note that many who do doordash, uber eats, etc who have similar medical issues are forced to go inside to pick up orders. They are told they are not able to get their order through the drive-thru.Wearing a mask it just as much about the Civil rights of an individual to not be treated as second class. I know others may think it is just a cloth and nothing compared to how blacks, women, and gays fought for civil rights but honestly if you compare things to how people treat those who asked for the same service as everyone else, the same rights of life, liberty, and happiness, you will see things very similar. The blacks were told to go to the back of the bus, that they had to use different bathrooms, different water fountains, and had to be served not at the lunch-counter but in the back. They were told they were given a "Separate but equal" service. We all know that was wrong, and many in the black community still today make this the core of their #BlackLivesMatter protests. Women, in the same way, asked for the same rights to vote, hold office, and work like men and to were told it was easier for them to just stay in the kitchen. Gays were told to stay in the closet and called sexual deviants (they are still today treated poorly by many religious zealots) but Gays had to fight as well for their rights to be equal and treated equally. I know it is just a cloth to some and why not just wear it.. but to many of us, we see this as our right to equal service and our civil right to decide not to wear a mask because we know of the adverse health conditions it may cause us. After all it is not just a cloth it is a symbol of oppression to many.On the other side of things if you do not have a disability or medical condition and you just think masks are bad for your health, unneeded, and nothing but a virtue signal you have to remind others why you refuse to wear one. To those that tell you to just put on a damn mask, you must remind them that they see a non-mask wearer as disease spreading, defiant imbeciles when in reality they are fighting for the last remnants of your freedom you didn't know you were about to lose.Remember it all starts with the government saying "stay home" and you stay home.. then the government says "close your business" you close your business.. then for 6 million Jews in Nazi Germany it was Government says "Get in Boxcar" and you get in a boxcar... and you dieAmerica was built on our individual rights and freedoms from a government that is corrupt and full of tyranny. We refused to pay taxes on tea and sugar from England without representation and began a revolution of sorts leading from a fight on paying taxes. Today many want us just to put on a mask and not let us conservatives "die on the hill" over the mask issue. For many of us, that understand just what forcing masks and other mandates on our lead to we see this as a revolution. The question is are you going to #GoRight for America and put us on a path to Making America Great Again (thus to the normal days pre-COVID or are you going to just sit back and watch the left take over and as Joe Biden says "Transform America" I would say if you are just willing to comply then you are just as bad as the left, so do you stand up for your rights? do you "CONSERVE" America or do you keep sitting down and let the left win?I know where I stand... do you?

You may realize after listening that this common argument might be a justification for the preborn child's right to life. An Incredible Testimony For Life (20:07-24:37) And finally, in the What Makes America Great segment, Nick shares a powerful story of a woman who was born from a failed abortion. Gianna Jessen faces physical setbacks every day because of this. Her perseverance, strength, and passion should inspire us to be advocates for the preborn. Support this podcast

A lot of speakers who'd happily get up in front of a thousand-person audience start getting the shakes at the thought of speaking to children or (gulp) teens. Fortunately, we have child-and-teen author Robin Stevenson here to share her experience speaking in front of countless school auditoriums and classrooms. She'll tell us how you can keep your next young audience rapt from beginning to end. About my guest: Robin Stevenson is the award-winning author of 25 books of fiction and nonfiction for kids and teen, including the Stonewall Honor book Pride: Celebrating Diversity and Community. Robin speaks to groups of all sizes and all ages, from librarians and teachers, to aspiring writers — but she particularly enjoys presenting to kids and teens and has visited hundreds of schools all across Canada. She lives on Vancouver Island with her family. Links: You can find Robin on the web (http://www.robinstevenson.com) and on Twitter (https://twitter.com/robin_stevenson). Pun intended. In this episode, we review our experiences at the "My Body My Choice" rally, talk about the changes that have occurred in the pro-choice rhetoric over the last few years, and outline an apologetic strategy for engaging with the other side.
Valentines Day is just around the corner so it seems appropriate that this month on YA Write I am talking to author and activist Robin Stevenson. A former social worker, Stevenson's empathy and care for those around her inspires both her writing and her social justice projects of which there are too many to count. Join us as Stevenson shares her activist roots and how they have informed her non-fiction books, Pride and My Body My Choice.
The past few years society has tried to glorify abortion and tell young girls it's okay to get them. In this episode we break down how our culture has changed to make this seem like something so easy and normal to do. We also talk about Planned Parenthood, "My Body My Choice", and pro choice and pro life arguments.Support this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/lesbian-liberals/donations
