Ken welcomes historian, author, and media commentator Martyn Whittock from his home across the Pond just outside London. Martyn read Ken's Substack series on Biblical Authority and reached out with some comments. It prompted this lively conversation - and led to another focus: Martyn's article recently published in the UK - How US Evangelicals Could Affect the Entire World. Whittock, a licensed minister in the Church of England, is a self-described “Evangelical.” For years, he has been a student of American Evangelicalism. He gives us a fascinating insight into the differences between our two countries: in America - the preponderance of MAGA Evangelicals, and in Britain - a very different sort of evangelical. Martyn expresses his deep concern over the prospect of a second term for the 45th President not only for the USA. He believes a second Trump Presidency will have an egregious adverse effect on Europe and the entire world. He explains this in considerable detail. Then, Ken asks Martyn about two recent appearances on British television as a history specialist. In the first, Martyn comments on the recent terror attack in Moscow that killed over one hundred in a large theater. In the second, he is asked about the Princess of Wales and the conspiracy theories that surrounded her hospital stay and absence from public life. You can see those clips by clicking on the links. Life coach Jenna Zoe explains how Lewis, as a "generator" personality type, can optimize his flow and impact by listening to his intuitive gut feelings when making decisions, rather than overthinking things. She says generators like Lewis tend to lift people's energy when doing what genuinely excite them, so he should focus on doing more of what lights him up inside. Jenna emphasizes that everyone has different ways of accessing their intuition, whether through emotions, instincts, or the gut, so it's important for Lewis to understand and lean into his particular sacral authority. By trusting his strong inner compass and teaming up with those who complement him, Lewis can alchemize his joy into lifting the energy of the world.LISTEN TO THE FULL EPISODE!Sign up for the Greatness newsletter!

Understanding processes and identifying weaknesses can help in achieving personal goals. Being open to trying new things and stepping out of your comfort zone is important for personal growth. Heroes can inspire and motivate us to be the best version of ourselves. Struggles and challenges do not define us, and we can still achieve success and be true to ourselves. Impact can be measured differently by each person and is not determined by external factors such as wealth or age. Success is about not giving up and holding true to one's calling and vision. Love, empathy, and understanding are powerful tools in making a positive impact in the world. Overcoming challenges and failures is a part of the journey to success. Consistency and perseverance are key in personal growth and achieving goals. When OpenAI launched ChatGPT on Nov. 30, 2022 and made it accessible to the public for free, a new season of AI began around the world. But, what it all means for individuals, our communities, our countries, and the world remains to be seen. There will undoubtedly be benefits in many fields, but there is also great concern that such power could bring problems that we may not even be able to imagine yet, including job and industry disruptions. We get some context from Dr. Chrissann Ruehle, She is an Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning Researcher, and Strategist, and she is a Management Instructor in Florida Gulf Coast University's Lutgert College of Business, and she is Provost Faculty Fellow for AI at FGCU.

Learn more about your ad choices. How do you define love? What is it exactly? Listen to the beginning of this episode and you will hear one of the best definitions of love ever. Knowing this definition will make it clear as a bell what you have to do to get more love in your life. Source: Dr. Pat Love author of The Truth About Love (https://amzn.to/3r7Rzcu) While we all know humans are social creatures, we have actually become much less social than in previous generations. People have fewer friends, more people than ever do not have a best friend, many of us claim to feel lonely and don't know our neighbors. And certainly politics has created a lot of division and isolation. We are simply less connected. This is a real problem according to Geoffrey Cohen, professor of psychology and organizational studies at Stanford University and author of the book, Belonging: The Science of Creating Connection and Bridging Divides (https://amzn.to/3r82Nhi). Listen as he explains why human connection is so important and offers practical suggestions for creating more connections in your life. There are 40 million miles of roads in the United States. While you probably don't think much about them, they are vital to our way of life. They get us from here to there. Yet, there is a price to pay for having the convenience of all these roads. Animals pay a big part of that price. Roads are hazardous to them. And when your car hits an animal it is hazardous and often expensive for you. There are other important consequences to having our network of roads you may not have considered. Here to explain it all is Ben Goldfarb. He is a writer whose work has appeared in The New York Times, National Geographic and other publications and he is author of the book Crossings: How Road Ecology Is Shaping the Future of Our Planet (https://amzn.to/44OpLI6) Could the shoes you wear reveal something about your personality? There was a study done about this and I will tell you what this study claims your shoes are telling the world about you. http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0092656612000608 PLEASE SUPPORT OUR SPONSORS! Welcome to Passionate Life Church! Pastor Andrew Thurber invites us to make an IMPACT! We are so glad you are here! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The local church is God's chosen vehicle to impact the world. Acts 2:41 NLT "I like Jesus but I hate the church." 3 reasons why this statement is bad theology. 1. Jesus died for the church Ephesians 5:25 NLT 2. Jesus calls the church his body. Ephesians 1:22-23 NLT 3. Jesus calls the church his bride. 2 Corinthians 11:2 NLT Ekklesia: a gathering of citizens called out from their homes into some public place, an assembly. Hebrews 10:25 NKJV Three reasons why satan attacks the church and wants Christians to scatter rather than gather? 1. He knows there is purpose in the church. 1 Corinthians 12:12-20 NLT 2. He knows a unified church is an effective church. 1 Corinthians 1:10 NLT 3. He knows the power of the church Matthew 16:18 NLT ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Thanks for listening! When you finally confront that one thing about yourself that wants to hold you back, what comes next? The good news is that there is a great gift on the other side of it, and that gift is self-acceptance. When you start to discover who you truly are, you can begin your journey into self-acceptance, and onto a path of knowing where you can make an impact in this world. But we have to go easy on ourselves…this process takes time and practice. In this episode, Tiffany plays off of Kyler's previous talk and draws from her own experiences to share her journey of self-acceptance and how it relates to who she is today. “There's a peacefulness that comes with knowing yourself and accepting yourself. And it's a critical part of how you can make an impact in this world.” Continue to listen in as we explore the depths of personal growth, resilience, and the triumph over anxiety in this Kyler Mason takeover series.
