In today's episode, I talk about overcoming insecurity. I share a few lessons I learned in my journey, and we look to a few of God's servants in scripture who struggled with insecurity as well. Blog postSometimes, God has not released specific blessings over your life because you don't believe you are worthy of His good gifts.Maybe you have felt the sting of rejection of someone, and the value they placed on you has caused you to devalue yourself. This is not of God!Satan will use our insecurity and make us place value in the lies he fed us over the years. Since the beginning of time, this has been his trick, and he knows that once you understand who you are in Christ, insecurity has to go. Are you always uncertain about yourself and constantly wrestling with anxiety? Do you lack confidence in the way you look or the gifts God has given you? Answering these questions is a good way to gauge where you are. You are worthy of what God has for you. Not because you are perfect but because God IS, and He covers our mistakes, regret, shame, and guilt with the blood of Jesus Christ. Don't settle for the lies of Satan. Don't believe that your best days are behind. There is this consistent theme in scripture where God says, " Fear not, move forward and trust me." We can't change the past, but we can change our future every day. When His servants are obedient in that, He then opens doors and leads us into victory. We all have a choice, choose to believe what God says. He declared this over us "I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well." Psalm 139:16 ESVGod IS intentional with everything He creates. He has a plan for you, believe it. Be Encouraged,Bettye NIcoleSupport the show

In today's episode, I share my testimony on fasting and how the Lord strengthened me to continue to wait on Him. God may not come when you want Him, But He is an On-time God. The process is just as necessary as the promise. God is concerned with both. God sees and knows every detail of your life; trust that He will fulfill His word at the appointed time. Happy Wednesday,In today's episode, I share the importance of stewarding our time and resources. I reviewed the life of the four leprous men in 2 King 7. You know, all one of them had was a thought, "if I don't make a change, we all will die here; let's move forward and see what happens." I paraphrased the statement, but the principle is there.Sometimes in life, we find ourselves stuck doing the mundane things life. Deep down in our hearts, we feel there is more, and God has a greater plan than what's before us. But still, most don't move forward because of the weight of life. These weights can be fear, insecurity, regret, shame, ungodly relationships, and much more. Life is likened to a race; we run at a certain speed to get to the finished line. When we are weighed down, mentally and emotionally, it can slow even the best of us down. Hebrews 12:1 says this 'Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, ' Hebrews 12:1 ESV.It's "Time" to take the weights off and get unstuck. I pray that this episode brings hope to your circumstances.Scripture References,Ephesians 5:15-172 Kings 7:1-11You guys Be Encouraged,www.bettyenicole.org Support the show

Happy Wednesday,In today's video, I share a few tips to identify if you are in a season of transition and what to do while you wait. I've learned that a huge mistake we tend to make is; once we feel the impression or believe we received revelation on what's next, we run ahead of God. There is wisdom in waiting and moving at God's perfect time versus being led by our feelings.Scripture reference“but they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”Isaiah 40:31 KJV“I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.”Psalm 32:8 KJVSupport(https://www.buymeacoffee.com/BettyeNi...) In today's episode, I share 1 Samuel 16:1 in how the Lord asked Samuel how long will he mourn for Saul. I believe this verse is so relatable as we ask ourselves, how long will we grieve and mourn what God has allowed. #GoneSpeaking #BettyeNicole #DocuSeries Happy Thursday, It's Been a while, but I am glad to be back to recording
Could God be trying to Speak to you? If you have this recurrent internal alarm system that goes off at night that wakes you up at certain times like 3 or 4 am or if you have this pull inwardly that you can't quite pinpoint, this may be God trying to speak to you. In today's episode, I share the different ways God still speaks to His people. Please grab a journal and pen as you listen in
Happy Labor Day, You have to be where the grace of God is for you. Today's episode, I share the importance of being inside of God's will. I had no idea, I would also end up sharing how I was almost evicted once, BUT GOD stepped in and not only reversed the situation but gave me peace as I waited. Notes from my heart- I remember a few years ago, I believe the Lord was telling me it was time to leave a particular place. I didn't want to because I was comfortable. I kept praying and asking God to show me where I was going, and because I didn't receive direction, I stayed in the place where he clearly said leave. __ As I continued, there was no peace. Things that usually wouldn’t get to me started too. Something that had In past time been easy for me became increasingly difficult, and honestly, It was hard. Hard to stay. But scary to go. __ Today I see this more clearly. The passiveness in staying in a place of disobedience out of comfort and the uncertainty of what's ahead. Trying to make myself feel what I don't is the absolute worst Elijah- God has sent him to a place for a certain season. That is were his provision was. When the brook dried up, it was time for him to go. 1 King 17:1-7 In this podcast, you will learn strategies on how to pray for clarity, trust God in the process, and the importance of trusting God with the unknown. I pray that you are encouraged. Bettye Nicole
Fear- There Are No What - If's With God! by Bettye Nicole
Happy Monday, Today I share an introduction prayer as well as ways to deal and cope with discouragement. We all have faced seasons in which our disappointments have weighed us down, causing us to want to give up on prayer and, in some cases, even God. I encourage you to continue to pray and trust, even when life feels uncertain, or the circumstances seemingly get worse. I believe that God is always at work in our lives, and He will use our disappointments to deepen our relationship with HIM. How do you cope with your discouragement? Practical tips 1. Choose to believe that God knows what's best 2. Admit that you are disappointed in prayer and journaling (transparency is key) 3. Hold yourself accountable 4. Accept that people & life will disappoint (this isn't uncommon) Be encouraged
Happy Monday, In today's episode, I share the importance of waiting on God before making a major decision like marriage, moving, business dynamics, etc. One of my favorite life principles from Dr. Charles Stanley is this "Whatever you acquire outside of God's will eventually turn into ashes." Happy Monday, Today I share the importance of praying transparently in the moment's when life feels heavy. The enemy will strip you of your understanding of a thing. In those moments you must rely on the truth of God's word. God promised us victory over every situation we encounter.
30 Minutes Of Encouragement & Prayer; Persevering When Times Are Hard by Bettye Nicole
Have you ever felt like God left you in the middle of the mess of your life? If so, I encourage you to listen to this week's podcast. Three Practical tips are 1. Know- Our Knowing of who God is and what He promised is vital to our moving forward. He promised to work all things for good Romans 8:28 2. Guard your heart- If we tend to our heart God will tend to our mind by keeping it in His perfect peace. Isaiah 26:3, Proverbs 4:23 3. Keep building- No matter what, we are to keep building our relationship with Jesus Christ. Nehemiah 6:3 God always finishes His work and plans in our life.
This Podcast is being released on what would have been my 15th year, wedding anniversary. I did not realize it until I went to type this caption. I write this somberly. The short story I share at the beginning of me ordering a bible in January 2014 was God's way of preparing me for what was ahead. That bible set on my table hardly used as I endured one of the toughest seasons of my life. This episode, I share the importance of heeding to God's preparation. Trusting when He says, let go and continue to hope for a better future. The Lord leads us on a narrow path to life, healing, and eventually, eternity. I have learned that when I focus vertically on what God is doing in me when things aren't so good. It better helps me fight the temptation of focusing horizontally at the hurt. Life comes at us unexpectedly BUT God is as the beginning, center, and end of it all. Trust Jesus with your entire life! & B encouraged!
Have you ever kneeled to pray and was distracted by a thought from your past or some task that needed to be done? How about, as soon as you decide to work toward some goal life happens and pulls you away? The enemy is a thief of time and he works behind the scenes to distract you in ways that are subtle. This week I share the importance of using the tools God has given us to take control of our thoughts, actions, and the circumstances that pull us away from the goal. I pray that you are encouraged, Bettye
Prayer is one of life's greatest time-savers, "Charles Stanley." This week's episode I, share the importance of prayer and how to pray effectively. In life, we will face disappointments, betrayal, injustice, and circumstances that will forever shift our journey. One thing that must remain consistent is the trust and belief that we have in prayer. Prayer changes things, but more importantly, it changes us. Listen in as I share the Biblical perspective of prayer and how to practically apply it to your life so that your prayer life can shift and change for the better. B encouraged, Bettye Nicole
In this episode, I share habits that may be present in our lives that we tend to do when we feel overwhelmed or anxious because of our circumstances. Identifying the source of the anxiety is the first step, but we must be intentional about conquering this anxiety and trust that God will see us through. No matter where you are in life, rest assured in the fact that you do not have to worry about your past, present our future. For worrying will not change a thing! Trust will. Trusting God will change your heart's posture from worry to peace. Paul admonished us in Phillipians 4:6 “Be careful (anxious) for nothing… Allow this truth to settle the battle in your mind today. Wait on the Lord.-Life Update This season I am in a boat of transition. I have to remind myself daily to wait on the Lord and don’t run ahead mentally to try and understand how things will work out. Also, I was reminded of this truth “with Jesus” I have everything I need. I remember praying for a car, home and things that are tangible. Once getting those things I realized how fleeting the feeling of attaining stuff is- my true treasure is Jesus Christ himself. Three Practical tips are 1. Don’t get caught up In the “I syndrome” 2. Don’t get ahead of God 3. Don’t focus so much on your tomorrows that you miss out on what God is doing today. Psalm 27:14 “ Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord. Proverbs 24:27 “ Prepare thy work without, and make it fit for thyself in the field; and afterwards build thine house.

Happy Monday, This week's episode, I share “How to overcome Rumors,” as well as how we are to respond while in the situation. Rumors can be hurtful, but God is faithful in allowing us to learn the lesson even in pain. There are two biblical references that I use in this video and they are 1 Peter 2: 21-23 & Nehemiah 6
That Season Is Over-Prayer Call Recap by Bettye Nicole
In Life we are going to encounter many situations that can and will plant seeds of fear in our heart. Our hearts will process this fear in our minds. This is where we adapt to these three unhealthy ways of thinking... 1. Overthinking 2. Overanalyzing 3. Foreboding thoughts The word of the Lord has given us steps to overcome this unhealthy way of thinking. Listen in as I share and be encouragedB. Bettye Nicole
This episode, I share a very transparent journey of pain, heartache, and hope that I have found in the disappointments of life. I prayed for freedom, but what I was not prepared for was the process that came afterward. The constant reminders that things didn’t work and that there was nothing I could do about it except keep moving forward. That’s where I am today, moving forward with all of the uncertainties that lie ahead. One thing I know to be true is that God will continue to walk with me. There is “Hope In Betrayal.” Snippet ⬇️ Some days I would lean my head against the closet wall as tears formed in my heart and pushed out through my tear ducts. “Lord, I never wanted things to be this way.” The thoughts are hardly why, as I don’t believe any answer would suffice. The feelings are simply, “I don’t understand some if not all of this. It’s not death- For a man born of a woman will share this fate. It’s the most complexing circumstances like divorce. For a long time, I felt like a failure. Failure is hard and will lead you into hiding and shame if not dealt with.
30 Minutes Of Encouragement & Prayer- Defeating Discouragement by Bettye Nicole
If we are not careful we will allow our past to define us instead of who God says we are. God has given us Identity in him long before our life circumstances. Prayerfully you will find encouragement here! FYI-Romans has 16 Chapters
No matter how you may be feeling while in the midst of your chaos, know that you are helped.
Dealing with the unexpected. ___ In life, we never know what our tomorrows hold. Navigating the unexpected can be tough, especially when you feel unprepared. I have learned that when I get past the “why” question, I can see the “what” God is trying to accomplish in my trials. No matter what you are facing today, I encourage you to look to God as He is the glue that will mend your life back together.
In this week's Prayer call, I share the importance of building healthy friendships. Relationships matter in this life. Jesus himself walked through life with disciples as well as others that were close to him. It is not good for you to go through life alone or carrying life's burden without having someone to help you, pray with you and hold you accountable. Prayerfully this is encouraging. Disclaimer: I mention that there is no perfect person in the bible-I meant that God used imperfect people in scripture BUT JESUS HIMSELF was perfect. THis BIBLE IS PERFECT.
You cannot begin a new journey until you have dealt with and healed from your past.
Happy Monday, this week's episode I share the importance of knowing that God is intricately involved in every detail of our life.

Happy Thursday, I am excited to be back on the prayer line. Today I shared the importance of asking God to get in our mess to clean it up. God is the only one who can fix our lives, But we must first surrender.
