In this conversation, Dr. Stanton Hom welcomes back Dr. Andrew Kaufman, a "recovering physician" known for challenging mainstream narratives on viruses, vaccines, and chronic illness. Together they unpack vaccine mandates, the 1986 liability shield, and how government intervention reshaped the market for vaccines. They then dive into turpentine as a traditional, evidence-backed remedy, how it works as a lipophilic detox tool, and practical ways families can safely apply it. Dr. Kaufman also outlines his natural-healing workshops and a vision of healthcare where families rely less on institutions and more on their own wisdom, community, and responsibility. Highlights: "The only way we can change these harmful societal forces is by making decisions and taking action for ourselves." "It wasn't the diagnoses that came first. It was the drugs, and then they built a system to convince everyone they're mentally ill." "It's not the substance that does the curing. It's your body that does the cure." "The only sustainable model is when we get people so well that they never need us and they never need the system." What happens when a $2 billion CEO walks away from corporate success to serve former gang members? Thomas Vozzo faced exactly that choice. After 26 years in the for-profit world, he chose Homeboy Industries over another lucrative CEO role—knowing he was "burning bridges." At Homeboy, Tom discovered profound truths. "God is too busy loving us to judge us," he learned, not intellectually but viscerally, surrounded daily by 500 people healing from complex trauma. He watched former gang members flourish when given 8, 9, 10 chances. The stress was greater, but the joy ran deeper. His journey challenges everything we're taught to value, revealing that authentic success means finding joy through serving others, not chasing titles.Thomas J. Vozzo is an author, speaker, and former Fortune 200 executive who served 26 years in the for-profit world before becoming CEO of Homeboy Industries, the world's largest gang rehabilitation and re-entry organization. Currently serving as Senior Advisor, Tom promotes from within—70% of leadership are former clients. Hi Sweet friend, Today's episode is tender, powerful, and real. If you're a nurse or healthcare professional who has been: Spiritually curious but still searching Carrying unhealed trauma beneath a capable exterior Exploring “spiritual things” but feeling unsettled or empty Or quietly wondering if there's more to faith than what you've experienced This conversation is for you. My guest today, Ondrea Lynn, courageously shares her story — one marked by sexual and emotional trauma, deep spiritual hunger, and a long road of searching for healing in all the wrong places. Like so many helpers, she wanted relief. She wanted peace. She wanted freedom from the pain she carried in her body and soul. But the paths she took — including occult practices and counterfeit spiritual solutions — only left her more bound… until she encountered Jesus. Ondrea is a speaker and author of the book, ‘The Christian Women's Weight Loss Victory Plan (How to Defeat the Enemy and Transform Your Body).' Ondrea has helped thousands of women reach their personal health and wellness goals and improve their physical and nutritional health, as well as their emotional and spiritual well-being. She is a graduate of the Institute of Integrated Nutrition, affiliated with the Teachers College at Columbia University, some of her certifications include, NASM fitness trainer, behavioral change specialist, and self-sabotage coach. Her efforts in health & wellness have been featured in an article and on the cover of Woman's World Magazine. She appeared as a personal trainer on Lifetime television's Mission Makeover. Her ‘Christian Women's Weight Loss' podcast is currently ranking top 3% globally. Ondrea is passionate about helping Christian women lose weight and gain health so they can rise up in the Kingdom and take action on the assignment God has called them to do. And as nurses, we are often exposed to suffering, death, and spiritual questions daily — yet we rarely have space to talk about our own souls. This episode gently invites you to pause and ask: What am I actually seeking? And where am I going to find it? Whether you're listening for yourself, or because you know someone who needs this testimony, I pray this story meets you exactly where you are. In this transformative episode, integrative health practitioner and co-founder of Amplify Impact Academy, Melissa Deally, joins host Avik Chakraborty to reveal why most people are only using 10–25% of who they really are. Melissa breaks down the 4 interconnected bodies (spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical), the 3 minds (conscious, unconscious, and higher self/superconscious), and how Timeline Therapy rapidly clears decades of stored negative emotions and limiting beliefs — without years of talk therapy. Discover practical tools like the “Clear the Screen” method to dissolve anxiety instantly and step fully into your life's mission. Key Takeaways: We have 4 bodies: Spiritual, Mental, Emotional, and Physical. Physical symptoms are usually the last to appear after imbalances in the other three. True, lasting healing requires addressing all four bodies — not just the physical. We have 3 minds: – Conscious mind (10% – logic & willpower) – Unconscious mind (90% – emotions, memories, imagination) – Higher Self / Superconscious (blueprint for perfect health & life mission) Children live fully in the unconscious mind until age 7–9, downloading beliefs like sponges — this is where most limiting programming begins. Timeline Therapy clears the 7 major negative emotions (anger, sadness, fear, hurt, guilt, rage, shame) at their root cause in one session by working with the unconscious mind. Emotions are stored in “gestalts” (like pearls on a necklace) — release the first pearl (root event) and the entire chain falls away. All humans share at least one of four core limiting decisions: I'm unworthy, unlovable, powerless, or not good enough. Talk therapy can unintentionally deepen trauma because the unconscious mind re-experiences the event every time it's retold. The “Clear the Screen” method eliminates acute anxiety by shifting focus from the imagined “horror show” to the desired “love story” outcome — in minutes. You cannot “think” your way to solutions or perfect health; the conscious mind doesn't directly connect to the Higher Self — answers come through the unconscious (shower thoughts, driving insights, middle-of-the-night clarity). Anxiety's purpose is to alert you that you're focusing on what you DON'T want — change the focus, and the anxiety dissolves. I spoke with Dr. Kandis Lock about what true healing looks like in a time of quick fixes and chronic stress. We explored how naturopathic medicine approaches health through connection - between body systems, emotions, lifestyle and environment. Kandis shared insights from her clinical experience, including the patterns she sees again and again in modern illness, and why many people don't really need more pills - they need better awareness, rhythms and rest. We also talked about working with patients who feel stuck, the limits of Western medicine, and what holistic care looks like when it's done right. Read more about Kandis' work here: http://www.kandislocknd.ca/ ----------------------------------------------- Dr Kandis Lock has been a Naturopath for over a decade, treating a wide spectrum of diseases with a special interest hormonal health, digestive concerns, and general well-being. She uses botanical (herbal) medicines, Traditional Chinese Medicine, clinical nutrition and prescription hormones. THE BALANCED MOMTALITY- Pelvic Floor/Core Rehab For The Pregnant and Postpartum Mom
If you've ever been told to “just strengthen your core” for back pain, pelvic floor dysfunction, or leaking , this episode is your wake-up call. Because here's the truth → your core doesn't work alone. It's part of a powerful kinetic chain: your feet, hips, ribs, shoulders, and everything in between, all working together to create strength, stability, and balance. When one piece of that chain isn't functioning properly, your entire system compensates. That means your “core problem” might actually start in your feet, hips, posture, or even your breath.

In this deeply honest episode of Healthy Waves, host Avik Chakraborty brings together three men—Chris Marhefka, Andrew Wilson, and Steve Wilson—whose lives have been transformed by trauma, resilience, and the pursuit of emotional truth. Together, they explore what real mental strength looks like when it's not about pushing through pain but learning to pause, feel, and heal. From trauma-informed coaching to peer-led support groups, they shed light on the challenges of vulnerability, the power of truth-telling, and the complexities of forgiveness. About the Guests:Chris Marhefka is a transformational coach and co-founder of 13 Pines. Once a high-performing entrepreneur, a near-death health crisis redirected his life toward deep healing, embodiment, and guiding others.Andrew Wilson is a trauma-informed fear coach, author, and podcast host who helps others reclaim power from fear and pain by tapping into subconscious healing and radical self-care.Steve Wilson is a survivor of childhood sexual abuse and misdiagnosed bipolar disorder. Today, he facilitates mental health support groups in Phoenix, offering grounded peer-based healing for those battling deep trauma. Key Takeaways: Mental strength isn't just about endurance—it's about knowing when to rest, listen, and feel. Trauma shows up as behavior until we recognize the pain behind it. Vulnerability in men's groups can unlock healing for entire rooms. Forgiveness is personal—not everyone is ready for it, and that's okay. Peer support is often the missing link for those lost in systemic gaps. Healing starts when we stop performing and start reconnecting with what feels true. Why Jesus “marveled” at both faith and unbelief. 5 ways to grow faith: read Scripture, renew your mind, obey the Word, remember God's deeds, and ask for more faith. 06:35 – Step 2: Know the Truth and Meditate on It “The truth will set you free” (John 8:31–32) applied to health. How forgetting who God is creates fear, anxiety, and even health struggles. Identity in Christ: chosen, redeemed, fearfully and wonderfully made. 11:27 – Step 3: Pray for a Change of Heart, Ears to Hear, and Eyes to See What Jesus teaches in Matthew 13 about spiritual dullness. A life-changing prayer from Psalm 139 to open your heart to God's wisdom. Why spiritual ears and eyes matter for your health direction. 15:49 – Step 4: Be Obedient and Trust God With the Outcome Naaman's healing story (2 Kings 5) and the importance of obedience. Why God may ask you to take steps that seem “small” or even strange. How obedience impacts stress, relationships, trauma healing, and overall health. 19:08 – Recap of the 4 Steps Have faith and ask God for wisdom. Know the truth and meditate on the truth. Pray for a change of heart, ears to hear, and eyes to see. Be obedient and trust God with the outcome. Key Takeaways Faith and healing are deeply connected — pray for both healing and wisdom. God's truth sets you free from fear, anxiety, and fatigue. Praying for spiritual renewal opens your eyes to God's direction in health. Obedience is often the missing link in breakthrough and lasting health. Healing is holistic — it touches your spirit, mind, body, and daily choices. A sign opens the way for a sermon, again. The Jerusalem crowd is drawn in wonder and amazement to the apostles because of the healing of a lame man. But Peter directs all attraction to Christ. The healing was not about the healing. To be sure, it was real and wonderful but was only a sample. The whole scene anticipates something far greater. And Christ is the cause, the center, and the chief celebration of it all. Here, in Peter's second recorded sermon, the deeper significance of Christ is explored as He and His work are linked to the hope of true healing, the likes of which the miracle served as only a sampling sign.
Hey Heal Squad! We had our first-ever Heal Retreat… and we're still buzzing from it. They also dive into the topics of resonance and dissonance, safety and surrender, and what it actually feels like when your body finally exhales. Maria shares her biggest takeaways (including some pretty emotional ones), and we dive into the moments that cracked us open and reminded us why we do this work; not to “fix” ourselves, but to come home to who we really are. This episode is one of the most heart-wrenching and important conversations I've ever recorded. Our guest Paige bravely shares her lifelong battle with eczema, her experience with topical steroid withdrawal, and the unimaginable trauma of having CPS show up at her door - just two days before her due date with her second child because she didn't want to follow a dermatologist's orders of using steroids on her son. What unfolds is not only a story of a mother's deep intuition and unwavering advocacy, but also a powerful example of how our medical system fails to ask why and instead pressures families into cycles of suppression. Paige's story will shake you, open your eyes, and most of all, give you hope. If you've ever doubted your gut, felt dismissed by doctors, or questioned everything in pursuit of your or your child's healing - this one is for you. Thanks for listening! Have you experienced trauma, but find it difficult to move forward or feel like you lack the information or support you need? Christie spoke with expert Keisha Wright about the complexities of trauma, its impact on mental health, and the journey towards healing. She sheds light on the difference between coping and true healing, and how important awareness and community support are in the recovery process. Keisha shares her personal journey and the practices she uses in her clinics to help individuals unpack their pain and learn to heal effectively. We hope this conversation provides you with the support and encouragement to move forward and know that God is working in your life despite the challenges you've faced and may be facing. Keisha Wright is the founder and Executive Director of the Emotional Recovery Clinic (ERC) in Orlando, Florida. Her personal struggles inspired her to open the ERC, fulfilling a promise to God to dedicate her life to teaching others how to heal from trauma, toxic mindsets, and unhealthy relational patterns. Over the past 14 years, she has helped more than 1,000 individuals recover from deep, emotional pain using compassionate, practical, and innovative strategies. Specializing in trauma recovery, affective awareness, and marriage regeneration, she offers client-centered coaching tailored to each individual's unique needs. In addition to leading ERC clinics, Keisha is a sought-after life coach and speaker and is known for her unwavering commitment to helping others transform their lives through trauma breakthroughs. Conversation Topics: Healing from trauma requires more than just time; it requires effort and commitment. Trauma can manifest in various forms, not just in extreme cases. Coping mechanisms can often mask deeper issues that need to be addressed before true healing can happen . Awareness of your pain is the first step towards your healing. Supportive community plays a crucial role in healing. True healing involves unpacking past pain, not just managing its symptoms. Investing in your own healing can transform your relationships. Women often prioritize others' needs over their healing. Understanding the patterns of pain can lead to breakthroughs in your recovery. The journey of healing is ongoing and requires commitment. Dog trainers are often tasked with helping dogs feel less afraid of things in their daily environments. This can be loud noises, it can be strangers, or it can even be slick floors or novel sights. The well known stimulus-stimulus pairing approach trainers call counter conditioning is not as effective as it has been made out to be, and this complex emotion requires more nuanced planning. "These five words changed everything: It All Starts With You." Trent Shelton June is Men's Mental Health Month, and on our platform, that means leaning into the tough conversations—asking the hard questions that may be uncomfortable, but are necessary for real change. Sometimes, all it takes is one honest moment, one powerful story, to shift a mindset or spark a breakthrough. In this special episode, we sit down with former NFL player turned motivational force and social media phenomenon, Trent Shelton, for a raw, honest, and deeply necessary dialogue about the emotional struggles many men face behind closed doors. Joined by Ryan Clark, Channing Crowder, and Fred Taylor, Trent shares his powerful journey—from chasing NFL dreams to losing his sense of self, battling depression, and ultimately rediscovering purpose through pain. He opens up about the crushing pressure to appear strong, the stigma around vulnerability, and how real strength lies not in silence, but in healing. Trent recounts the darkest moment in his life—when he nearly gave up—and how one glimmer of hope helped him fight his way back. Together, the guys chat about life after sports, identity crises, the importance of mental health, and how Trent transformed his lowest point into a movement with his powerful message: “It's Rehab Time.” Inspired by the tragic loss of a close friend to suicide, Trent turned pain into purpose, creating a platform for healing and growth. The episode takes an even more personal turn as Channing opens up about grieving the loss of his father, Fred reflects on the weight of quiet moments, and Ryan shares his thoughts on life's next chapter. The conversation is unfiltered, vulnerable, and incredibly moving—a testament to the power of speaking truth, facing pain, and finding strength through faith, family, and brotherhood. Whether you're an athlete, a father, or a man struggling in silence—this conversation is for you.
