Arsenal clawed back from two goals down to draw 2-2 with champions Liverpool at Anfield. This was about Arsenal's resilience, but their sluggish first half and defensive frailties nearly cost them dearly.Despite a disjointed start-deflated after their Champions League exit-Arsenal showed character after halftime. Martinelli's header sparked hope, and Merino's rebound finish leveled the score. Yet, defensive lapses and Merino's late red card left Arsenal hanging on, with Odegaard almost snatching a winner in stoppage time.Liverpool's early dominance and Gakpo's opener exposed Arsenal's back line, and Diaz's quick follow-up left the Gunners reeling. But Arsenal's fightback, even with ten men, halted Liverpool's celebrations and extended their unbeaten away run, though doubts linger over their top-five finish hopes. While Martinelli's sharpness and Merino's impact offered positives, Arsenal's inconsistency in big moments persists. Liverpool, meanwhile, saw a party atmosphere soured by a late disallowed goal. Now an even bigger challenge is upon as we could potentially lose 3 players in addition - Merino suspension and Trossard and Rice injury doubts. Let's say a prayer for this team and hope for the best. Arsenal's Champions League dream ended in heartbreak to PSG 3-1 on aggregate. Despite a performance brimming with courage and pride.Trailing by a goal from the first leg, Arsenal stormed out of the blocks, pinning PSG back and forcing Gianluigi Donnarumma into a string of spectacular saves. Declan Rice, Gabriel Martinelli, and Martin Ødegaard all came agonizingly close, but it was the hosts who struck first-Fabián Ruiz's deflected rocket leaving David Raya helpless and deepening Arsenal's mountain to climb. The second half saw Raya briefly revive hope, denying Vitinha from the penalty spot, but PSG's Achraf Hakimi soon dashed those dreams with a ruthless finish to double the lead. Still, the Gunners refused to wilt. Arsenal slumped to a dispiriting 2-1 defeat at home to Bournemouth, surrendering a precious lead that left the Emirates crowd in stunned silence. The  lack of  defensive grit saw them punished, as Bournemouth claimed their first-ever win at Arsenal. Quite unbelievable. Declan Rice marked his 100th appearance with a coolly taken goal. The first half, Arsenal carried on with positives that all hoped would ensure a positive end to the match. But then second half unraveled for Arsenal. Bournemouth equalized and minutes later, Evanilson bundled home the second goal  completing their turnaround victory. Arsenal pressed for an equalizer, but their attacks fizzled out mainly with little fight displayed.Declan Rice was a rare bright spot, capping a tireless display in midfield. But Arsenal's attacking rhythm faltered, and defensive lapses proved costly. The team's confidence visibly drained after conceding, and by the final whistle, many already turned their thoughts to the looming Champions League semi-final second leg in Paris. This defeat stings-not just for the result, but for the manner in which Arsenal let control slip away. rsenal suffered a frustrating 1-0 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League semifinal first leg, leaving our European dreams hanging by a thread after a performance brimming with missed opportunities and contentious moments. Despite the setback, the narrow margin ensures everything remains possible in next week's decider in Paris.  PSG struck early, silencing the Emirates crowd just four minutes as Ousmane Dembélé capitalized on a slick counterattack. The visitors dominated the opening half-hour, with Donnarumma rarely tested while David Raya denied PSG a second goal with a stunning save on Désiré Doué. Arsenal grew into the game before halftime, nearly equalizing from  Gabriel Martinelli's attempt.  Arsenal thought they'd leveled early in the second half when Mikel Merino powered home a Declan Rice free kick, but VAR ruled the goal out for offside. Donnarumma then stole the show, tipping a Leandro Trossard drive wide and smothering a late Lewis-Skelly effort. PSG squandered chances to extend their lead, with Bradley Barcola and Gonçalo Ramos and Joao Neves wasting gilt-edged opportunities, but Arsenal's attacking struggles persisted as their final-third precision deserted them.  Declan Rice battled tirelessly in midfield, orchestrating transitions and delivering dangerous set pieces, while Lewis-Skelly's fearless dribbling and vision offered glimmers of promise. Saliba anchored the backline admirably, limiting PSG's threats after the early goal, but the lack of cutting edge up front proved costly.  While the result stings, Arsenal's European campaign has been defined by resilience-remember Bayern and Real Madrid. A single goal separates them from a final in Munich, and with away triumphs already etched into this season's lore, the tie remains alive. There is more live in this team to turn it around. After started brightly with a third-minute score, there was a less fire from their play. An unusual Arsenal in defending showed up.Despite moments of control, Arsenal's vulnerability resurfaced late in the game. A costly gift to Philippe Mateta silenced the home crowd. For Arsenal, the result extended a frustrating pattern of draws, with five in their last eight league matches undermining their title ambitions. While Trossard's sharpness in front of goal provided a bright spot, defensive errors—particularly William Saliba's errant pass leading to Mateta's goal—proved costly. The Gunners now turn their attention to a pivotal Champions League semifinal clash against Paris Saint-Germain, where greater defensive discipline will be paramount.Palace, meanwhile, demonstrated why they remain a dangerous opponent under Oliver Glasner, with Eze's technical quality and Mateta's opportunistic strike highlighting their attacking threat. Arsenal cruised to a 4-0 victory over Ipswich Town, delaying Liverpool's Premier League title charge with a ruthless display at Portman Road. The Gunners' attacking fluency and defensive composure underscored their dominance, capping a stellar week following their Champions League triumph over Real Madrid.  Ipswich briefly threatened when Enciso miscued a chance early on, but Arsenal capitalized swiftly. A blistering counter-attack led by Martin Ødegaard and Bukayo Saka culminated in Leandro Trossard slotting home despite slipping, netting Arsenal's 100th goal of the season. Arsenal had another frustrating 1-1 draw against Brentford at the Emirates. Coming off the high of their midweek Champions League triumph over Real Madrid, Mikel Arteta's men struggled to replicate that intensity, albeit heavily rotated squad. The first half was an acceptable affair, but Arsenal unable to break down Brentford's organized defense. Kieran Tierney thought he had opened the scoring, but was  offside. The Gunners looked sharper after halftime, and Thomas Partey broke the deadlock in the 61st minute finishing off a swift counterattack orchestrated by Declan Rice, who continued his excellent form. However, Brentford responded just 13 minutes later; capitalized on a defensive lapse, hooking in an equalizer that stole our joy. Despite late pressure from Arsenal, including a near-miss from Bukayo Saka and a deflected cross from Gabriel Martinelli, we couldn't find a winner.Arteta's decision to rest key players like Bukayo Saka and Martin Ødegaard initially seemed justified rightfully so. Even after introducing his stars in the second half, the Gunners couldn't regain control. This game was a lot of individual brilliance, team resilience and a lot of endurance with 10 men. This match was a tale of sustaining dominance from Everton's pressure, marred by questionable officiating and missed opportunities.Arsenal started brightly and dictating play with a heavily rotated lineup. Raheem Sterling's pace and drive, set up Trossard's opener—showing composure and precision. However, Everton's physicality and defensive resilience kept Arsenal from extending their lead before halftime. The second half began with drama as Myles Lewis-Skelly was adjudged to have fouled Jack Harrison in the box—a decision that is ridiculously wrong. Arsenal's clash with Manchester United in a 1-1 stalemate wasn't as the score reflected. It was only a feather away from a win or a loss - either team. The Goal That Shouldn't Have Been - Bruno Fernandes' free-kick opener, born from a defensive lapse and David Raya's sluggish positioning, felt like a self-inflicted wound. Martinelli's Surprise return was a 58th-minute welcome entrance that jolted the game to life. Rusty but relentless, his mazy run and cutback for Ødegaard forced a heroic save. But why wait so long? Arteta's delayed substitution felt like unlocking a fire extinguisher after the smoke alarm blares.   Rice's redemption's thunderous equalizer—a 20-yard missile that rattled the post on its way in—saved Arsenal's blushes. Yet his heroics masked a midfield that too often bypassed creativity for safety. Ødegaard, usually the puppet master, drifted in and out and should have been our match winning hero.  Raya's double save in stoppage time, clawing Fernandes' header off the line, reminded us why he's Arsenal's man. Arsenal trudged out of the City Ground with a 0-0 stalemate against Nottingham Forest—a result that felt like swallowing bitter medicine. Defensively resolute?Absolutely. Offensively forgettable? Painfully so. Arsenal's backline stood lively against Forest's physicality, but their attack sputtered like a car out of fuel, mounting on frustration as we count the days and weeks. The first half was a few memorable displays. Saliba, Gabriel, and Timber—operated like a fortified wall, snuffing out Chris Wood's threats. But up front, Merino's false-nine experiment worked...and worked, beyond recycled possession and hopeful crosses into a forest of defenders.  Bright spots flickered briefly: Tierney's introduction sparked width, forcing a sharp save from Sels, while Ødegaard's late blocked shot was simply would-be-victory. Yet Forest's low block proved impenetrable, reducing Arsenal to sideways passes and speculative efforts. The clean sheet? Laudable. The attacking inertia? We all know.   This wasn't a disaster, but we have a vacancy for hero. A point earned is fair. But we need to strive for more. Arguably. Arsenal's 1-0 defeat to West Ham wasn't just a loss was a big one. A performance that left the Emirates crowd simmering in disbelief, watching the team unravel was sad. The defending? Shameful.  The urgency? Buried under a mountain of sideways passes and tactical confusion.  Bowen's goal. A cross from Wan-Bissaka that shouldn't have gone through, defenders ball-watching like a tourist. How does a backline that's prided itself on discipline  switch off so catastrophically?   Then there's the red card. Lewis-Skelly's challenge on Kudus was not worthy of a red card. VAR's insistence on upgrading it felt like punishment theater. If that's a clear goalscoring opportunity, then so is a coin toss. A yellow? Fair. But this decision reeked of pedantry over pragmatism.  Odegaard's invisibility? Alarm bells.  When Arsenal needed a conductor, he played the mute. Why did he not get aggressive with shooting? Questions lingering in the ashes: When did “control” become synonymous with cowardice?  This was  a bad day at the office with the blueprint ripped up and set ablaze. The crowd's disconnection from the players? Very odd. No synergy, no spark—just certain moments of coming alive and then groans of resignation.  How does a team with this talent forget its identity so utterly? Arsenal's 2-0 grind at Leicester - survivalist masterpiece. It was about rewriting the rules of pragmatism under the flickering lights of a faltering conundrum. The crowd didn't just witness a football match; they saw a team morph into something raw and ruthlessly creative when Plan A dissolved into dust.  Leicester's barely strangled Arsenal's attacking veins for 70 minutes - it was self-deficient and we needed a miracle - something. Then came the twist: Mikel Merino, a midfielder by trade, thrown on as a striker. Chaos theory in cleats. His two goals—a poacher's stab and a predatory redirect—weren't just goals; they were existential middle fingers to convention. Ethan Nwaneri, meanwhile, played without the comprehension of premier league pressure. Instead he decided “I'll take it from here.”  The away fans? Architects of this chaos.
