German alpinist Fabian Buhl comes from a background of climbing and mountaineering and is credited with ascending some of the hardest routes on Earth. A few years ago while climbing in the Karakoram of Pakistan Fabian saw the potential of using a paraglider to access difficult objectives and removing the often long and dangerous approaches by foot. So he became a pilot. But his early attempts were scary and learning was slow and often frustrating. Fabi stuck with it and returned to the Karakoram with enough skill to pull off some solid objectives but he knew to truly take advantage of these "combos" of climbing and flying, and also to be safer he needed to hone his thermalling and XC skills. Fabian's journey from climbing to paragliding highlights the importance of mentorship, the challenges of overcoming fear, and the thrill of mastering a new sport.

Min 34: BUGONIA (3 estrellas) En Bugonia, Yorgos Lanthimos vuelve a su territorio más ácido y perturbador con Jesse Plemons y Emma Stone al frente, encarnando a dos ejecutivos que, convencidos de que una influyente gurú mediática manipula a la población, deciden secuestrarla para “liberar al mundo” de su influencia, sin prever que el cautiverio revelará quién manipula realmente a quién. Con su habitual mezcla de humor negro, violencia contenida y una lógica casi ritual, Lanthimos construye un thriller psicológico retorcido donde la sátira sobre el liderazgo, la fe en las élites y el delirio conspiranoico se entrelaza con la incomodidad moral propia de su filmografía. Min 40: DOS FORAJIDOS (2,5 estrellas) En esta nueva entrega del wéstern, los protagonistas son Alec Baldwin como Harland Rust, Josh Hopkins y Travis Fimmel, encargados de encarnar los distintos matices de una historia de redención, violencia heredada y rivalidad en el salvaje Oeste. El veterano forajido Rust se entera de que su nieto ha sido condenado a la horca y decide emprender un arriesgado viaje hacia la frontera para sacarlo de prisión y huir con él, mientras ambos son perseguidos por un mariscal y un despiadado cazarrecompensas. Min 43: LA PELÍCULA DE TU VIDA, CON VICTOR MANUEL El cantante asturiano ha sido uno de los invitados estrella en la 15 edición del Festival del Cine y la Palabra (CIBRA) de Toledo. El preestreno del documental "Solo pienso en ti", del director alcazareño Hugo de la Riva y auspiciado por CMM, trajo a Toledo la presencia de Victor Manuel y de los auténticos protagonistas de la historia, Antonio y Mariluz. El acto estuvo presentado por el director de "Estamos de Cine", Roberto Lancha, que aprovechó la ocasión para preguntar al legendario cantautor por la película de su vida. Min 45: BSO "EDÉN", otra sorpresa de Hans Zimmer (3 estrellas) En la banda sonora de Eden, Hans Zimmer entrega uno de sus trabajos más atmosféricos y sensoriales de los últimos años, alejándose de los grandes bloques orquestales para construir un tejido sonoro que respira a la vez peligro, misterio y una espiritualidad quebrada. Zimmer articula el score como un viaje emocional paralelo al del personaje de Jude Law: líneas de sintetizador casi submarinas, percusiones tensas de respiración corta y cuerdas suspendidas que nunca terminan de resolverse, como si todo estuviera a punto de desmoronarse.
