Piero Hincapié could be Arsenal's final signing of the summer, and he is the missing piece that we couldn't imagine signing. The Leverkusen defender is a target to replace Jakob Kiwior and it's safe to say that he would be a major addition for Mikel Arteta. The signing would make it eight new arrivals for Arsenal this summer, and this would also represent a major fee on top of what has already been spent on Zubimendi, Eze, Madueke, Gyokeres, Norgaard, Mosquera and Kepa. In this video Adam Keys analyses Piero Hincapié's traits and looks at where he will fit in at Arsenal:- What does Xabi Alonso say about Piero Hincapié?- What position does he play?- 24/25 heatmaps- Similarities and differences to Riccardo Calafiori- Piero Hincapié's overlapping ability from left back- His pace and straight line running power- How would he work with Martinelli, Eze and Madueke?- Defensive style- How does Piero Hincapié compare to Calafiori, Gabriel and Kiwior? You can find more Arsenal Therapy Content here:https://thearsenaltherapypod.com/Twitter: https://twitter.com/arsenaltherapyTikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@arsetherapypodInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/arsenaltherapypod/Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/7tFYKwDmGpJcAFkAefYMQaApple: https://podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/the-arsenal-therapy-podcast/id1545069959 Google: https://podcasts.google.com/feed/aHR0cHM6Ly9hbmNob3IuZm0vcy80NDRkMmQxNC9wb2RjYXN0L3Jzcw==#hincapie #pierohincapié #eze #arsenal #odegaard #gyökeres #viktorgyökeres #madueke #odegard #zubimendi #riccardocalafiori #zubimenditoarsenal #DeclanRice #MartinZubimendi #saka #bukayosaka #arsenaltactics

On this edition of the ArsenalVision Podcast, Elliot is joined by Clive to recap an exciting weekend and discuss a win over Newcastle in the final home game of the season. The pod starts with a bit of appreciation for the community following the Union Chapel event and a brief discussion of Mikel Arteta's appearance at the event. Then there's a bit of an unstructured discussion about the Newcastle game covering the obvious lack of fitness for some players, the way other players like Leo, Kiwior and Calafiori stepped up, and the impact David Raya made. There's a bit on Declan Rice, on the state of the league overall, and the need to power up next season. There's also a conversation about potentially moving on from some players. The bust up at the end of the game is covered and then there's a section on Mikel's address to the crowd following the game. The Emirates was alive with relief and celebration as Arsenal edged Newcastle 1-0 in a match that tested every nerve. Declan Rice's thunderous strike was the difference, capping a night where Arsenal's resilience and second-half transformation stole the show. The Gunners struggled through a lethargic first half, unable to break Newcastle's press or find any rhythm, but came out after the break with renewed energy and purpose-showing the grit that's defined their season. It wasn't all smooth sailing. Newcastle's early pressure had Arsenal on the ropes, and the crowd's anxiety was palpable as the team searched for answers. Yet, crucial saves from David Raya and the defensive composure of Jakub Kiwior kept the clean sheet intact, while Rice's goal finally gave the home fans something to cheer. Thomas Partey's uneven performance highlighted the team's first-half struggles, but the collective improvement after halftime made all the difference.Rice's winner was a moment to savor, crafted from Ødegaard and Rice's relentless drive-one for the highlight reels. Kiwior's mature display at the back and Raya's safe hands were just as vital in securing the three points. These performances deserve real praise as Arsenal clinched Champions League qualification and kept their standards high.Join me in this episode as I break down all the key moments, the top three performances, and what this win means for the Gunners' future. Don't miss it-this is Arsenal: always dramatic, always compelling! Up the Gunners!
The On The Whistle crew return to break down a chaotic game at Anfield that could have gone horribly wrong… but didn't. We dissect a disastrous first half that had latter-day Wenger vibes before the boys fought back with spirit, grit, and a bit of quality. ✅ Martinelli masterclass ✅ Merino's moment of magic… and madness ✅ Odegaard signs of life ✅ Raya and Kiwior concerns ✅ Why this result proves Arsenal's mentality is rock solid We also cover what's next for the Gunners with Merino suspended, Trossard potentially injured, and Kai Havertz lurking for a big return. Oh… and we definitely have some words for anyone claiming Spurs or United have had a better season than us. Listen, rate, and subscribe!
Hello Rank Squad! We have our Champions League finalists, after PSG joined Inter in the showpiece event by beating Arsenal 2-1 at the Parc des Princes to progress 3-1 on aggregate. The game might not have had the verve and sparkle of Tuesday's semi, but there was plenty to discuss all the same here on UCL Takeaway. Arsenal started fast, but couldn't find the killer blow to leave the tie in the balance - thanks to some particularly impressive goalkeeping once again from Gigi Donnarumma in the PSG net - and then Fabian Ruiz landed a killer jab of his own, striking home from the edge of the box after Arsenal failed to clear a set piece. Vitinha missed a (very harsh) penalty, before Achraf Hakimi made it 2-0 with a striker's finish, and whilst Bukayo Saka pulled one back and Arsenal had their chances to find a leveller, it was Luis Enrique's charges who saw the game out, with no finishing flourish from his former apprentice Mikel Arteta in the other dugout. We discuss the game, as well as where it leaves Arsenal ahead of this summer, whether PSG's transformation into the team we have seen in recent months makes them favourites for the final, whether João Neves is a N'Golo Kante regen, where Arsenal need to upgrade to reach that next level, and loads more besides. It's Ranks! And remember, if you'd like more from the Rank Squad, including extra podcasts every Monday and Friday (including our weekly Postbox taking a look at the whole weekend of football) and access to our brilliant Discord community, then why not join us here on Patreon?

Adam and Scott get back together to chat about Arsenal's 2-2 draw against Crystal Palace. It was a disappointing and pretty low-quality display but does it matter? The big topics from the match:* Kiwior shining after a run of games* Trossard looking sharp as the false nine* Any worries about the defense or just a one offThe next topic is about Arsenal's chances for staying in the top 5 and in the top 2. We give our thoughts on the outlook, while looking at the rivals end of season fixtures and what points total Arsenal needs to feel safe.To finish in the top 5, the magic number is probably 68 points and almost certainly 70 points for Arsenal. To finish 2nd, they probably need 73-75 but could scrape it at a lower number.Adam wrote up a post today on what this could mean. The last topic is a look ahead to PSG. The different position battles, thoughts on how the game will go, and a prayer that this doesn't go to penalties because neither of our hearts could take it. This is a public episode. There's a bit on the lineup, including a start for Sterling rather than Ethan Nwaneri and potential concerns over the absence of Mikel Merino. The key moments are analyzed including some encouraging individual performances from Kiwior and Leo. There's a bit on why this might've been the worst performance of the season and whether that can be explained by Champions League pulling focus. The pod covers what it means for Arsenal in the table before moving on to some questions about performances from Raya, Saliba and especially Martin Odegaard.
