Whisper it, but AFC Bournemouth are becoming more clinical, scoring more goals from fewer chances - and with Junior Kroupi likely to deputise for the absent Evanilson again, all eyes will be on our French fox in the box ahead of Sunday's clash against Nottingham Forest. Meanwhile, Nottingham Forest fans have endued a turbulent few months, with the departure of Nuno, and a quick "hi and goodbye" from Ange, but with Sean Dyche in charge of the Tricky Trees, new life has been injected into Forest's wayward season, and with a win under his belt already, a character building visit to Bournemouth may well be the kind of the clash that the former Burnley and Everton gaffa will be salivating over. Sam and Tom focus on all things Bournemouth and Forest in our preview. We are at Q Sports Bar in Boscombe to look forward to Sunday's clash. As the dedicated away fan pub, Q Sports is open to Forest fans before Sunday's game - but also to all Cherries during the week! They are located at 704-708 Christchurch Rd, Boscombe, BH7 6BY. The QP is the home of AFC Bournemouth fans on a Cherries match day and is open from 11am on match day with £350 to be won on the day by Cherries supporters. Host Ricky Sacks is joined by Jonathan Hamme, TJ Ramini and Patrick Tyrant as our unbeaten start to the Premier League season came to a disappointing end on Saturday afternoon as Bournemouth's early goal was enough to secure them all three points. Having kept back-to-back clean sheets in our opening two victories, we conceded just five minutes in at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with Evanilson's deflected effort finding the back of the net. Had it not been for the outstanding performance of Guglielmo Vicario, it would have been an even heavier defeat as the Italy international made a string of excellent saves to prevent Bournemouth extending their lead. It wasn't until the closing stages that we put any pressure on the Cherries' defence but managed just one shot on target throughout the match as we suffered a frustrating defeat. They've had their defence ripped from them with Milos Kerkez and Dean Huijsen gone, and Ilia Zabarnyi set to follow, so how concerned should we be about Bournemouth ahead of their opening night trip to Anfield? Neil Grover joins James to discuss what may be a makeshidt backline that starts the season, but it doesn't mean there isn't reason for optimism. The attacking players have stayed and there's coverage of Antoine Semenyo, Justin Kluivert and Evanilson who are likely to attract particular interest for those Free Hitting in GW2. On Clash of the Correspondents James is joined by Manchester City fan Jonny Pringle and Bournemouth fan Neil Grover to discuss an important week ahead for both clubs ahead of their Gameweek 37 meeting next Tuesday at The Etihad. For City there's the small matter of Saturday's FA Cup Final to contend with first, and by the time they face The Cherries they could be down to sixth as they bod to finish in the top 5. Bournemouth themselves need City to win the Cup and will then be hoping for slip ups from Brentford and Brighton as they aim for a first ever qualification for European football. What should FPL managers who own the likes of Josko Gvardiol, Kevin De Bruyne and Omar Marmoush do considering City don't play untol after the Cup Final? Should they be binned? And can those who gambled on a returning Erling Haaland have the confidence to captain him? And Bournemouth assets are likely to prove very popular too on final day when they host relegated Leicester. Discussion includes chat on Evanilson, Justin Kluivert, Milos Kerkez and Dean Huijsen, who seems bounds for Real Madrid following an outstanding season. Plus, should we expect City to go big in the market in the Summer and does the Club World Cup matter? Arsenal suffer a shock 1-2 defeat at the Emirates to Bournemouth in the Premier League, and broadcaster & lifelong Gooner Harry Symeou is here with his full post-match reaction!
Arsenal slumped to a dispiriting 2-1 defeat at home to Bournemouth, surrendering a precious lead that left the Emirates crowd in stunned silence. The lack of defensive grit saw them punished, as Bournemouth claimed their first-ever win at Arsenal. Quite unbelievable. Declan Rice marked his 100th appearance with a coolly taken goal. The first half, Arsenal carried on with positives that all hoped would ensure a positive end to the match. But then second half unraveled for Arsenal. Bournemouth equalized and minutes later, Evanilson bundled home the second goal completing their turnaround victory. Arsenal pressed for an equalizer, but their attacks fizzled out mainly with little fight displayed.Declan Rice was a rare bright spot, capping a tireless display in midfield. But Arsenal's attacking rhythm faltered, and defensive lapses proved costly. The team's confidence visibly drained after conceding, and by the final whistle, many already turned their thoughts to the looming Champions League semi-final second leg in Paris. This defeat stings-not just for the result, but for the manner in which Arsenal let control slip away. For now, though, it's all about one thing - Wednesday awaits. C'mon Arsenal!
Jamie Redknapp and former Arsenal defender Gael Clichy analyse Bournemouth's comeback victory against Arsenal at the Emirates, which keeps their hopes of European football next season alive. Second-half goals from player of the match Dean Huijsen and Evanilson compiled more misery on the Gunners following their midweek defeat to Paris Saint-Germain, and Redknapp said they are on the verge of having a poor season ahead of their semi-final second leg against the French champions.
In this podcast I preview FPL Gameweek 35. My thoughts and opinions on the latest news and info, as well as answering your questions. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Arne Slot's Liverpool sealed the title in style, while Wolves chase a Forest-like rise under Vitor Pereira. Evanilson's suspension dents Bournemouth's European hopes, and Jackson's goal could revive Chelsea's top-five bid. West Ham's defensive woes continue as relegated Ipswich reflect on missed chances. Meanwhile, Fulham eye seventh after Sessegnon's late heroics.
After 31 games, AFC Bournemouth are TENTH in the Premier League, and recent form suggests that the chance of European football is ebbing away. A draw at West Ham on Saturday kept us in the mix, but with some difficult games ahead, can it be achieved? And who else will be in the mix? It was Cherries' Brazilian striker Evanilson who excelled again at the weekend, scoring his sixth goal in six games as Bournemouth both took the lead then came from behind to claim a point in an absorbing encounter at the London Stadium. So where does this leave Cherries ahead of their push for Europe? Sam and Tom are at the Queens Park Hotel to work it all out! Visit the QP at 482 Holdenhurst Rd, Bournemouth, BH8 9AR. We have updates on three potential Nottingham Forest signings this summer! For Exclusive Content Join FFTV Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/ForestFanTV Welcome back to Forest Fan TV with your latest Nottingham Forest transfer update! In this video, we dive into the swirling rumours surrounding a potential blockbuster move for Sporting CP's prolific striker Viktor Gyokeres. Fresh reports suggest Forest are ready to up the ante by offering a current player in a swap deal to land the Swedish sensation, who's been tearing it up in Portugal. But with all this buzz, we're asking the big question: should Forest still be chasing Gyokeres, or is it time to pivot to other targets? Speaking of alternatives, Bournemouth's Brazilian striker Evanilson has also been linked with a switch to the City Ground. His debut Premier League season has shown promise, but does he have what it takes to lead the line for Nuno's Reds? Plus, we've got the latest on a potential £25m swoop for a new Premier League goalkeeper this summer—could this be the missing piece for Forest's ambitions? Join Wolfie as he breaks it all down and shares his take on these exciting developments. What do you think—Gyokeres, Evanilson, or someone else entirely? On Clash of the Correspondents ahead of the Blank James is joined by Bournemouth fan Neil Grover and Brentford fan Tom Medd to discuss the latest at their clubs and some very important Fantasy assets ahead of a fixture where goals are expected again! For both free hitters and those looking to invest you can make a case for more than half the Bournemouth team to be of interest, from Kepa in goal to Dean Huijsen at the back, Milos Kerkez at left-back, a returning Evanilson, Marcus Tavernioer, Antoine Semenyo and Justin Kluivert may even become the captaincy pick of choice for many as we head towards deadline. But where does that leave Dango Ouattara owners? And are consistent Brentford being overlooked with their own attacking players of interest in Bryan Mbeumo and Yoane Wissa, plus enablers such as the underrated Mikkel Damsgaard and the pacey Kevin Schade? After all, The Bees who were so strong at home are now putting strong results on the board on the road, even if it may have much to do with the flip in their fixtures. And Bournemouth can dare to dream big about qualifying for Europe and whta might might achievable in the FA Cup. It's time for The Truth! If you look at the top of the Premier League table, you'll see a few of the country's most famous and recently successful clubs in the pack, but you'll also find a previously fallen giant - in the form of Nottingham Forest, and an upstart underdog - in the form of Bournemouth, going toe-to-toe with the big boys. But how did they do it? What's behind the successes of the Tricky Trees and the Cherries this season, just a few years after promotion from the Championship - how did they turn themselves from relegation battlers or mid-table stalwarts into genuine contenders for European spots at the end of this season? We take a look at their differing strategies in both the transfer market activity and the tactical sense with which they play, examine which feels more sustainable, and hand out some very well-earned credit to two brilliant managers and two clubs doing things their own way. Is this a one-off, or is it a model that other clubs could use to find success? Are these high-flying underdogs showing a new way to go about things, or could they be just another one-season wonder? The Truth is somewhere in the middle... And remember, if you'd like more from the Rank Squad, including extra podcasts every Monday and Friday (including our weekly Postbox taking a look at the whole weekend of football) and access to our brilliant Discord community, then why not join us here on Patreon?

On Clash of the Correspondents James is joined by Bournemouth fan Neil Grover and Tottenham fan Ricky Saunders to discuss the latest at their clubs ahead of Thursday's GW14 meeting on the South Coast. Andoni Iraola's Cherries are impressing and fresh from an excellent victory at Wolves host a Tottenham side who continue to show inconsistencies and have a growing injury list. Antonie Semenyo returns from suspension and will interest FPL managers but does Saturday's penalty hat-trick hero Justin Kluivert offer an even cheaper route for Fantasy managers into The Cherries attack? There was another goal for Brennan Johnson at the weekend and his underlying data suggests there could be more to come, so why is he being overlooked by the majority of Fantasy managers and is he now the best asset from the league's top scorers. Plus, there's discussion on Evanilson and Dominic Solanke, who, sickness permitting, is set to face his old club, there's concern over the goalkeeping situations at both clubs and there's advice for those who want to buy or invest in the likes of Milos Kerkez and Pedro Porro Thursday on Clash of the Correspondents: Fulham v Arsenal with Lewis James and Adam Pritchard Tomorrow on Planet FPL: The Clayton & James Show Ep. 17 Today on Patreon: The Differential Show and The Team News Stream For the full Planet FPL schedule this week, including our offering on Patreon view this post: https://www.patreon.com/posts/117134006 Want to become a member of our FPL community and support the Podcast? It was GOALS GALORE in the Premier League this weekend!! On the Football Fill-In today we have Ben Foster, Darren Bent, Dave Watson and Tom Ochoa as we talk about this weekend of fixtures! Our first game starts off with the Super Sunday match, which was Liverpool vs Manchester City. What is going on at City and is Pep losing the plot? We discuss all on this game and how it's now Liverpools title to lose… Moving on, Chelsea beat Villa 3-0 in a convincing win, we had a look at their upcoming fixtures and it looks good for them, could they push for a title charge?! West Ham vs Arsenal saw seven goals in the first half which could lead to worrying times for West Ham and Julen Lopetegui. Manchester United are off the mark with their first win in the PL under Ruben Amorim with a 4-0 victory over Everton, with one manager coming in, will one manager be coming out in the name of Sean Dyche? We also discuss Marcus Rashford going to the USA and how good Amad Diallo was! Looking at the game in the midlands, we head to Wolves in a thrilling 4-2 defeat to Bournemouth. Wolves gave away three penalties which could all have been avoided, but in doing so, Bournemouth broke two Premier League records with Evanilson being the first to win a hat-tick of penalties and Justin Kluivert the first to score a hat-trick of penalties! Brentford's AMAZING home record continues with a 4-1 win over Leicester as Ruud van Nistelrooy watches in the stands with the owners. Kevin Schade scores a hat-tick and he is the 2nd Brentford player to score a PL hat-tick with the first being Ivan Toney! Staying in London, Spurs hosted Fulham as they drew 1-1, which leads to Spurs fans being frustrated with the lack of consistency with results. Crystal Palace host Newcastle, and Palace were dominant and deserved a point going right to the final whistle. A potential worrying time for Newcastle as they only managed 1 shot the whole game with 0 being on target. Isak also comes off injured too which doesn't look good for the Magpies. Moving to the final two games, Brighton hosted Southampton on Friday night, which caused a divide in opinion in the studio today with that Adam Armstrong offside. Do you think the goal should have counted? Finally, Forest beat Ipswich 1-0 with a Chris Wood penalty taking them to 6th in the table! Learn more about your ad choices. James is joined on Clash of the Correspondents by Brentford fan Tom Medd and Bournemouth fan Neil Grover to discuss the latest at their clubs, and some key FPL assets from within them ahead of the meeting between them in GW11 at The Gtech, and spoiler, goals are expected. Should goals arrive key talismen Bryan Mbeumo and Antoine Semenyo are likely to be involved. What are the prospects for these popular FPL assets both in the immediate and for the longer-term? There's also discussion on the best defensive assets from each with Mark Flekken, Sepp Van Den Berg and Milos Kerkez all featuring. Whilst upfront, there is perhaps surprisingly unanimous agreement on which of Evanilson and Yoane Wissa provides the best investment in the forward line for FPL managers. Plus, with Brentford having taken 13 points from 5 home games and Bournemouth off the back of 7 points in 3 consecutive games against Champions League qualifiers the question is posed of how much can these two clubs achieve for the rest of this season. And for one in particular there is a remarkable statistic over the last 38 games. Welcome to the Portugal Corner Podcast, where we cover all things Portuguese soccer—good, bad, and funny! Here's a quick summary of the latest action: - **Sporting CP**: Amorim's rumored move to Manchester United didn't affect the Lions much, as they powered through with a 3-1 Taca win over Nacional and a 5-1 thrashing of Estrela Amadora. Nani made his return to Alvalade, and Gyokeres was on fire, scoring 6 goals in a week, including a 20-minute hat trick against Estrela Amadora. - **Benfica**: The Eagles are on cruise control under manager Lage. They secured a 3-0 Taca win over Santa Clara with Di Maria scoring a stunning volley and Pavlidis netting two. On the weekend, they came from behind to beat Farense 2-1. Consistent performances are putting them back on track. - **FC Porto**: The Dragons keep marching on with strong performances, including a 2-0 Taca win over Moreirense, where Stephen Eustaquio was named MOTM. They smashed Estoril 4-0 over the weekend, with goals from Pepe, Danny Loader, and Geleno. Young right-back Martim Fernandes impressed with 2 assists. Porto's defense continues to look rock solid—are they the best backline in Portugal? - **Braga**: In the Minho Derby, Braga took the Taca with a 2-1 win over Vitoria Guimaraes, then followed it up with a 2-1 win over Arouca, with El Ouzzani scoring the winner. - **Vitoria Guimaraes**: A narrow 1-0 win over Moreirense saw Nelson Oliveira as the match-winner. - **Famalicao**: In an exciting thriller, Famalicao edged out Aves 3-2, with a brace from Gil Dias. - **International Roundup**: Nuno Espirito Santo's Nottingham Forest stunned West Ham 3-0, climbing to 3rd place after being 17th when he took over. In a surprise result, Man City lost 2-1 to Bournemouth, with Evanilson scoring the decisive goal. - **Manchester United**: In a high-scoring midweek Taca match, United crushed Leicester 5-2 with Bruno Fernandes netting twice. They followed it up with a 1-1 draw against Chelsea, with Bruno converting a penalty. Meanwhile, Mourinho was at it again in Turkey, complaining about VAR and corruption in the league after Roma defeated Trabzonspor 3-2. That's all for this week's roundup! Cherries' 3-1 victory against Saints on Monday night should have been more flattering. Three first half goals from Evanilson, Ouattara and Semenyo put the game out of reach early on, but despite a late rally, Russell Martin's side rarely looked like threatening Iraola's men. The tactics were questionable, the persistence with a failing plan was baffling, and Bournemouth, we were just licking our lips at everything he was doing. In this pod, Kirk Tovey from Cherries Red Army joins Sam and Tom at the Pear at Parley to roast Russell Martin's tactical game-plan. Com a saída de Neres, Mateus Fernandes e Evanilson os grandes vão atacar o mercado até ao final, enquanto uns goleiam e outros tentam-se manter de pé
Nottingham Forest are still searching for a striker as the transfer window nears its conclusion, and the spotlight is firmly on Borussia Dortmund's young sensation, Youssoufa Moukoko, who is reportedly on the verge of joining Real Betis in Spain. But could Nottingham Forest swoop in at the last minute and hijack this deal for the German international. Forest need to add more firepower upfront, and Moukoko, with his lightning pace and clinical finishing, could be the perfect addition to Nuno's squad. With the reds missing out on other striker targets such as Evanilson and Maximilian Beier, Forest cant afford to let another top player slip away, so will they be able to hijack the Moukoko move to Betis in time? Forest's talented midfielder, Danilo, who unfortunately suffered a serious injury in the opening match of the season against Bournemouth. The Brazilian star broke his ankle in the early stages on Saturdays game, however, in some positive news, Danilo has taken to social media to reassure fans that he is okay. He expressed his gratitude for the overwhelming support and well-wishes from Forest fans and the football community. Nottingham Forest fans, get ready! The long-awaited transfer of Paraguayan winger Ramón Sosa could finally be reaching its climax. According to the reliable journalist John Percy, negotiations with Brazilian club Talleres are progressing well, and a medical might take place as early as this week if talks continue to advance! While there's still some work to be done, Percy's report suggests that both clubs are keen to finalize the deal. If negotiations continue on the right track, Sosa could be heading to Nottingham for a medical soon, potentially becoming the club's latest signing. Talks broke down last week after Forest change the terms of the agreement late on, but it seems now that a deal will happen for a around the £11m mark. Nottingham Forest is looking to make a statement by securing a top-tier striker before the deadline. Reports are linking Forest with two exciting names: Santiago Giménez from Feyenoord and Evanilson from Porto. Both players are known for their goal-scoring prowess, and Forest is prepared to spend big to bring one of them to the City Ground. We also have more news on the future of Danilo, with Premier League giants Manchester United apparently contacting the Brazilian midfielder's representatives to enquire about a possible transfer.

Hello, fellow soccer enthusiasts! Welcome back to The Portugal Corner, where we serve up a smorgasbord of Portuguese soccer – from the dazzling to the eyebrow-raising, and of course, the downright hilarious! In our latest episode, we've got more plot twists than a telenovela. Estoril's French CDM, Koba Koindredi, decides to spice things up by making a samba move to Sporting CP. Meanwhile, Raphael Guerreiro might go to Al Hilal with JJ, leaving us wondering if JJ has a secret career as a soccer matchmaker. Hold on to your hats, folks! In a surprising twist, Goncalo Borges decides to pull a U-turn and stay at FC Porto. Apparently, Sergio gave him a heartfelt speech involving tears, hugs, and maybe a few bribes with pastéis de nata. Sporting CP turns Tondela into a playground with a 4-0 romp, featuring Pote's goal-scoring extravaganza. Porto finally cracks the Estoril code, thanks to Evanilson's hat-trick and Galeno's magic on the field – with Pepe showcasing some unexpected playmaking skills. Who knew? Benfica narrowly dodges the Braga bullet, securing a 3-2 win that plays out like a suspenseful thriller. Joao Moutinho hits the grand 1000 games milestone, probably earning him the title of "The Duracell Bunny of Portuguese Soccer." The Algarve Derby delivers drama as Portimonense snags a 1-0 victory over Farense, claiming bragging rights in the south. Nakamura in goal steals the spotlight – someone give that man a cape! Casa Pia and Famalicao go head-to-head, with Chiquinho's cheeky goal setting the stage for a 2-0 victory. Sporting CP battles Chaves in a rain-soaked adventure, featuring Steven Vitoria's spirited defense and lions scoring goals that sound like a musical crescendo. In a nail-biting match, Benfica triumphs over Rio Ave with a 4-1 scoreline – cue the dramatic music. Porto flexes its muscles against Braga, securing a 2-0 win with Cardoso and Evanilson leading the charge. Sergio finally unleashes a three-headed attacking monster, proving he's not just a master tactician but also a secret Pokémon trainer. Guimaraes takes down Arouca 2-1 in the Mullet Derby, where Ricardo Mangas and Matias Rocha showcase their sick flow. Jason opens the scoring for Arouca, but the Silva's (no relation to the Matrix) steal the show. On the international front, we venture into the Africa Cup of Nations, the Asia Cup, and dissect Mo Salah's new haircut – because who doesn't love a good hairstyle discussion? Liverpool copes with lost players, and we take a deep dive into Diogo Jota's role at the club, examining his rating on Fotmob. Is he only a super sub, or does he have a secret superhero alter ego? In Italy, Mourinho's Lazio faces Coppa Italia heartbreak, and AC Milan triumphs over Roma in a 3-1 showdown. The Super Copa de Espana serves up an El Clasico spectacle in Saudi Arabia, with Vini hitting a hattrick – Ronaldo, of course, making a VIP appearance in the stands.
