Gav and Chris sat down to attempt to preview our upcoming FA Cup fixture with Fulham at Craven Cottage, but halfway through they went off on a bit of a tangent about how much they love the club, the arrival of Pierre Ekwah, the highly likely (may be confirmed by the time you listen) SAFC signing of Leeds youngster Joe Gelhardt, our links with Isaac Lihadji, a new link with Nottingham Forest youngster Ateef Konaté and then spend a good half hour answering/debating listener questions! What's the crack?Gav is looking forward to Fulham, Chris is not looking forward to Fulham. Aye.Do we think this is a free hit for both sides or is it actually far more important to both than they would perhaps admit? What sort of side is Tony Mowbray likely to put out, and will its strength be a sign of how seriously he's taking the competition? Is this one of the most exciting transfer windows in recent Sunderland memory? Is Kyril shipping French lads in by the dozen? Do we care if we know who any of these lads are?Welcome Pierre Ekwah! Would the lads throw him straight in this Saturday? Is losing Corry Evans a serious issue with some of the options we have available already?Should Kristjaan Speakman be praised slightly more for the revolution he's overseen at the club since his arrival? All this and much, much more!Been plenty more SAFC news since this was recorded; Corry Evans is out for the season with an anterior cruciate ligament injury, Leon Dajaku is off on loan to Swiss side FC St. Gallen, and Sky News are reporting the imminent arrival of Joe Gelhardt! So we'll be recording another reaction to all this news soon aye... Updates: Isaac Lihadji has signed for Sunderland! Announced by SAFC at 8pm 26/01/23 Joe "Joffy" Gelhardt has signed for Sunderland! Spurs got back to winning ways against Fulham at Craven Cottage on Monday night, as Harry Kane equalled Jimmy Greaves' record as the club's all-time leading scorer with a trademark strike. But off-pitch matters have dominated the Spurs discourse over recent days, as managing director of football Fabio Paratici received a 30-month ban from Italian football amid an investigation into his former employers Juventus' dealings. The panel discuss the ban, what it could mean for Paratici and in turn, what it could mean for Spurs. A bit of a reality check for Marco Silva's men, as Fulham fell victim to a brilliant Harry Kane goal which sealed victory for Spurs at Craven Cottage on Monday. The game was as frustrating as TFLs revised timetable, as the boys in white failed to capitalise on early pressure and then were stifled out in the 2nd half thanks to Tottenham's game management. Yes, Fulham missed the opportunity to leapfrog our North London rivals and go 5th... However, despite the result there are still plenty of reasons to be cheerful. Fulham still sit 7th in the league, dreams of Europe live on, and we have a belter of a podcast for you to ease the frustration. Coops, Isabelle and JK are joined by creator and star of BBC's 'This Country' (and most importantly, avid Fulham fan) Charlie Cooper, who gives his take on Monday night's action. The duo then analyse Tottenham's inconsistent season so far and what realistic targets they can still aim for this campaign.Attention then turns to the pulsating match from Super Sunday between Arsenal and Manchester United. Neville felt Arsenal ‘beat up' United during the second half and thoroughly deserved the 3-2 win. Carra highlighted Arsenal's dominance coming from their central midfield players including Oleksandr Zinchenko who was influential and Jamie's man of the match. Carragher also goes onto say that Arsenal are the best coached team in the country in his opinion. Neville felt the Gunners' performance against United was a throwback to a Arsene Wenger Arsenal team as they adopted a similar shape in their attack which isolated both Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Luke Shaw.Part three previews the match between Fulham and Tottenham which has seen Spurs win their last six matches at Craven Cottage in all competitions. Neville and Carragher look at certain areas of the pitch which could prove to be vital in determining the outcome of the match.Harry Kane equalled Jimmy Greeves' goalscoring record for Tottenham in their 1-0 win against Fulham and the England captain spoke with Dave Jones, Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher after the match and hopes the win will rejuvenate Spurs' season. There is also reaction from Antonio Conte who said that the win is a starting point for the club to try and push for a top four finish. Conte also reiterated that he is ‘proud' and ‘happy' at the club despite recent rumours that he may leave Tottenham at the end of the season. In the final part of the show, Gary and Jamie give their individual predictions for the remainder of the season looking at who will be crowned champions of the Premier League, who will finish in the top four, the clubs that will avoid relegation, who will be the player of the year and who will be named manager of the season.

The injury situation and how difficult the circumstances are for Potter are highlighted. The fairly pedestrian, yet welcome, win against Palace was also discussed, as well as the shocking news of Mudryk being unveiled in front of Stamford Bridge today.

Winning football matches is overrated, right? Matt Davies-Adams has got Sam Parkin and Simon Johnson along for the ride to try and sum up the 2-1 defeat at Craven Cottage. The result leaves Graham Potter's side sitting 10th in the Premier League table - having won only twice in 10 matches in all competitions. There's shambolic defending, another injury - and a red card for what seemed like the only bright spark in weeks... Next up - Crystal Palace make the visit to Stamford Bridge - who themselves have won just one of their last six and sit three points behind Chelsea in the table. We preview that game and try and muster some positivity about the chances of picking up a desperately needed three points. Far more positivity for the women's team - who get their WSL campaign back underway this weekend with the small matter of a trip to the Emirates to take on fierce rivals Arsenal. Jessy Parker-Humphreys helps us look ahead. Plus we've got an obligatory quiz - with some tools downed along the way... We'll be back on Monday to *hopefully* bring some good news after another week to forget for CFC. Produced by Lucy Oliva. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

We famously don't get many 0-0 draws at Craven Cottage, and whilst they're never very fun, Saturday's stalemate against Everton was not short of chances or talking points. In this episode we react to Fulham's slightly wasteful nature in front of goal, and discuss the two key refereeing incidents, which also were honours even between the two sides. In part two, we get stuck into some questions about Harry Wilson's performances, the effect of the looming World Cup and the scarf revolution in SW6. It's not very often we say this, but on Saturday, Fulham have the opportunity to make it three consecutive wins in the Premier League. In our way are Everton, who have had a mixed start to the season, but looked very impressive in their most recent outing against Palace. We look at the key men for the Toffees, and the selection headaches Marco Silva might face. In part two, Sammy chats to Edie Kelly, goalkeeper for the Fulham Women's team, ahead of the reformed side's debut at Craven Cottage in November. They also discuss what the ambitions are for the side, and their FA Cup run which sees them travel to third tier Watford in the coming weeks. Finally, we have some questions about Marco Silva's reunion with Everton, and a debate about who would win in a game between Hodgson's Europa League heroes or Silva's current side.
