As both friends and business owners, the path to create Thrive Empowerment was spurred from both women's experience with domestic violence and mentally abusive relationships. Listeners, I am so excited for you to meet this beautiful soul, Lauren Neal, and discover more about her personally, as well as her photography business Lauren Neal Photography. Lauren and I met when she was going to capture some shots of me so I could have content launching this venture and, through shared time together and chatting, I asked her that day to be a guest on the podcast! Lauren has such an interesting life that she has lived thus far in her under 30 years, including, living in Haiti for four years, falling in love with a culture she knew little about until high school. Lauren discovered a passion for photography while living in Haiti and then when moving back to Cincinnati, decided to launch her photography business, right before COVID-19 entered all of our lives and businesses. She is a warm light, a sweet and old soul, and sees the beauty in EVERYTHING! Enjoy meeting Lauren Neal! --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/everyday-badass/support

Listeners, I CANNOT wait for you to meet my big brother, Casey Fisher! We were both a little nervous for Episode 1 of everyday badass however, I think we did pretty well, despite our nerves. People often doubt the title "everyday badass" when referencing themselves, and my brother is no exception. With that said, I know all of YOU will welcome him with open arms! Casey is a devoted husband, who just celebrated 25 years of marriage with his wonderful wife Jen. He is a father to three incredible girls (yes, I'm a little bias as their Aunt), ranging from fifth grade to senior in high school. He has served as an educator for over 25 years, a football coach for over 20 years, a son, brother, uncle, mentor and on and on and on. He has ALWAYS been one I have gone to for advice over the years and he not only listens, but listens well, while also telling you what you need to hear, not what you want to hear. He is humble. He has patience for days. He is just a gift. A person in my life I can't imagine NOT being there. Welcome.... Casey Fisher! --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/everyday-badass/support

Listeners, I am so excited to launch the everyday badass podcast! I am beyond grateful that you have chosen to be part of this community and spend some of your valuable time listening to our interesting guests. This episode is the Pilot episode, the WHY I chose to embark on this adventure. I truly believe that everyone has a story. I have always found incredible value in listening to others' experiences. Some of the greatest lessons I have applied in my life, are from connecting and listening to the stories of those willing to share their lessons, their mistakes, their successes, their heartbreak. These stories exist in all of us. These are the stories I want to hear. Welcome to everyday badass. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/everyday-badass/support
