IAG Performance Thursday Thing!

We catch up with Dewey, Dylan, Jordan, and Jerami Bailey at Road Atlanta the night before the track goes hot and catch up on what it took to get Boogey ready for the event. A LOT changed including a new sequential gearset!

Some of the questions I've received lately really made me realize there isn't a great spot for the basics of turbocharging as it pertains to a Subaru or just cars in general...so we made one. Yeah it's simple but some people need it. This is more something you can send to someone who is new, just getting into it, or maybe thinks they know more than they do. Most of you know Dom Acia from the Cyl 4 Chamber Cooling mod but he's been around a LOT longer than that. We talk about him getting into Subarus, his start in tuning, him being one of the god fathers of the destroker concept in Subarus, where the cooling mod came from and the data behind it, and some cool new stuff he's working on! So many people don't know Dom but after this you will have a better idea of how this mans brain works.

We haven't done a good "Dewey spews a ton of info on one topic" in a while. With Warranty out, what better time than now to do it. This week Dewey covers all the basics of heat exchangers and how they work as it pertains to a Subaru (though the same principle works for all cars) . Lot's of great info in here. If you ever wondered about why radiators are different, where you need to put an oil cooler, or you are trying to just keep your temps down and not sure where to start, this is a good one!

One of the originators of social selling in the Subaru community and LONG TIME community advocate, Rick Conk is on the show! This guy is a legend to a lot of us and was our gateway into a lot of the products we bought for our cars. We chat about everything from his early years, his time at RSD, and what happened/is happening to the Land Speed car (and how you might be able to help!). ALSO! Rumor mill has been churning about a new STI again. We chat about what that might look like!

Dewey is stuck in his RV and Warranty is out so Dewey and the Discord regulars hold down an "Ask Dewey" segment. Honestly we thought this one would maybe go an hour and it went nearly two full hours of non stop questions ranging from Time Attack stuff, starting out with track things, way to approach a build, RA Blocks, and everything in between.

You may have seen one of the Exo Trucks on Instagram or at a Subaru show but did you know anything about where they came from or what it takes to build or register one? Well...we LEARNED A LOT this episode!

We have heard every bad idea under the sun. Most of them make no sense and will never work. Then...every once in a blue moon, someone comes up with something that at first sounds awful but the more you talk about it...still sounds awful but you cant help but fall in love with it. THIS IS THE PINNICALE of one of those cases.

Where the name came from, their first cars, what it takes to develop a VA STI to run 8.06 in the 1/4, and more questions are all answered plus some. We also tackle the age old question of Whataburger vs In and Out!

We DID infact make Gridlife Midwest. We SOMEHOW managed to turn a lap. This is basically that story. Also Dewey got to drive a few fun BRZ's on Sunday/Funday.
