Is the Rian Johnson Star Wars Trilogy still a thing? According to Kathleen Kennedy, yes. With the director so busy with the Knives Out films, it looks like we have awhile before he helms any Star Wars movies. However, where would he go in a galaxy far far away? Away from the Skywalker Saga finally? Also we saw Rogue One in IMAX and watched the exclusive Andor footage front he upcoming show that is a prequel to Rogue one Andor, starring Diego Luna as Cassian Andor! Star Wars podcast Jawa Chatter is here to bring you all things Star Wars. Jawa Chatter Podcast & Socials:
Welcome to Jawa Chatter, the Star Wars podcast, and your one-stop shop for all Star Wars news and content! Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order was one of our favorite video games. Star Wars Jedi Survivor is one of, if not our most anticipated video game of 2023. Nothing could have made us happier than the reveal of a book that takes place in between Jedi Fallen Order and Jedi Fallen Survivor! That's right, Star Wars Jedi Battle Scars is a book that is being written by Sam Maggs and releases on March 7th. This will take place somewhere between the five years of the events of both games and will follow Cal Kestis and the crew of the Mantis, Cere, Greez, and best Nightsister Merrin. If that's not enough, we also have the reveal of the behind-the-scenes book of the making of Jedi Fallen Survivor that releases on May 2nd. The Art of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor on May 2, 2023. “This behind-the-scenes look will "chronicle the development of the game, collecting concept art and creator commentary in an oversized, full-color hardcover." Does this reveal a potential release date for the game? Potentially. It was previously announced the Star Wars title would release in Q1 aka between January and March. Jawa Chatter Podcast & Socials:
Star Wars Podcast Jawa Chatter has a discussion about Rogue One: A Star Wars Story IMAX release date and the exclusive sneak peak preview of the Star Wars show Andor on Disney+ coming to the platform on September 21st. The full movie of Rogue one with Diego Luna as Cassian Andor, Felicity Jones as Jyn Erso, Forest Whitaker as Saw Gerrera and Alan Tudyk as K-2SO releases on August 26th in select IMAX theaters. Jawa Chatter a Star Wars Podcast discusses the event, what we might see as the exclusive preview of Andor and what to watch out for in your rewatch of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. What exclusive content will we see from the new Star Wars show of Andor? Will we see Clone Troopers with an early look back at Cassian's life as a Separatist? What was your favorite part and character in Rogue One A Star Wars Story? Was it Jyn Eryso's speech? Cassian and his band of Rebels taking it to the Empire with that epic ending? Maybe it simply that Rogue One was a brilliant prequel and love letter to Star Wars the original trilogy leading up to the story of Star Wars A New Hope! In this podcast episode of Jawa Chatter, Jeffers & Claudia do a Star Wars Clone Wars Season 2 Recap and this is the first time she has seen Mandalore. Have you heard of one of the best Star Wars/video games ever Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic! Well we have good news and bad news. The good news is, the original title of KOTOR is great working order and you can currently play it on so many different platforms! The bad news? Well, Knights of the Old Republic Remake is delayed indefinitely. It looks like some stuff went down with ASPYR, who before this title only did ports and remasters of older titles. Claudia, Jeffers & Nerdy dive into the news of what happened, video game remakes, the pressure of Star Wars video games and more in this weeks episode of Jawa Chatter! Jawa Chatter Podcast & Socials:
Star Wars is loving telling their stories on Disney+ or how tv. The question we ask today is, what character do we think will most likely someday lead a future television/Disney+ Star Wars Show? And in a similar vein, what is the one character driven show we wish we could get, our dream one, but will likely never happen? Today we discuss and have a great time doing it, who will we pick? Well I'll give you some hints on some names thrown around, Doctor Aphra, Mace Windu, Qi'ra, Opeepit? We also talk a bit about Taika Waititi, Game of Thrones, Marvel and Lord of the Rings. These actually do relate to what we're discussing, but also would we be us if were 100% on topic? We think not. Jawa Chatter Podcast & Socials:
Today is Star Wars news! The Mandalorian Season 3 Trailer leaked, the Emmy nominations for Star Wars was announced and in case you missed it Commander Cody's cut role from Obi-Wan Kenobi show? This week it's just Jeffers as we honestly don't have anything for the three of us to deep dive into, it's oddly quiet in the Star Wars universe, but that won't last and we expect the three of us to be back next week. For now, we have a short and sweet episode that includes the Mando trailer leak, Star Wars Visions and Book of Boba Fett Emmy Nominations and if you didn't catch it, a writer from the original Obi-Wan Kenobi concept aka the movie it was supposed to be, reveals that Commander Cody from Clone Wars and Revenge of the Sith had a role in the show that was cut. Thanks so much for listening and watching friends, please share the podcast with someone you think might enjoy it, it helps a lot. Utinni! Jawa Chatter Podcast & Socials:
Star Wars Andor Season 1 and Season 2 details are confirmed?! Season 1 doesn't even debut until August 31st and yet somehow we have Tony Gilrow giving out Star Wars information like it's candy. In this episode we breakdown the newly released and confirmed information about Andor Disney+ show starring Diego Luna as Cassian from Rogue One. The series for those that don't know is a prequel to the Star Wars film, set five years before, but that's just Season 1! We also discuss what the challenges are Andor will face and when will see a new trailer? All this in more at Jawa Chatter, come have a Star Wars chat with us! Article from IGN and Highlights: https://www.ign.com/articles/star-wars-andor-first-season-will-take-place-over-one-year-second-will-cover-four-years?utm_source=twitter Star Wars: Andor's First Season Will Take Place Over One Year and Its Second Will Cover Four Years So for those unaware this show takes place 5 year before Rogue One. Now the first season will span one year and the second will cover the following four? Andor showrunner and executive producer Tony Gilroy revealed the news and shared a few behind-the-scenes details as to how the show is coming together and how the shooting schedule "organically led to Season 2's different structure." Each season will span 12 episodes - This is a big deeper dive into the characters that eventually make up the story of Rogue One. Obviously Diego Luna is reprising his role as Cassian Andor. From Tony Gilroy an Andor Showrunner and executive producer: Wow, it'd be really interesting if we come back, and we use each block to represent a year. We'll move a year closer with each block'. From a narrative point of view, it's really exciting to be able to work on something where you do a Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and then jump a year. Socials Jawa Chatter Podcast & Socials:
The Obi-Wan Kenobi Disney+ series is sadly over. However we ask the question today, is this the best season of Live Action Star Wars Television? If not, which one is? Will it be Mandalorian Season 1? The Book of Boba Fett? Or Mandalorian Season 2? Claudia, Nerdy, and Jeffers each have a little something different to bring to the table. We wrap the episode with another question, which of the new slated live action Star Wars TV shows are each of us most excited for? Ahsoka, Andor or Mandalorian Season 3?! Also at the end of our episode we talk about a Star Wars Fan lead Abortion Access, here is a link to that gofund me and the amazing cause they are working towards which ya know, it's women's bodies, it's their choice: https://www.gofundme.com/f/what-choice (https://www.gofundme.com/f/what-choice)
The series of Obi-Wan Kenobi for now at least is over. In its epic conclusion there's a lot to talk about. We start by saying how much we love it, then joke around quite a bit about the little thing. After that though we dive in to the Anakin and Darth Vader personalities, Obi Wan overcoming things since episode one, Leia, Reva's conclusion all the cameos and so much more! There really is a lot to this episode and it is amazing! Jawa Chatter Podcast & Socials:
Star Wars Obi-Wan Kenobi Episode 5 was insane! We do a quick review of it in the beginning, talking about Tala's death, the Anakin and Obi Wan flash back! We then move on to Obi Wan Kenobi Episode 6 Predictions for the finale! Will Reva die? Will there be a cliffhanger? Will we get a Obi-Wan Season 2 reveal that's been rumored so much? We go over this and so much more in today's episode! Jawa Chatter Podcast & Socials:
How good or bad is Obi-Wan Kenobi Episode 4? Sit back and relax as Jeffers shows and tells you in his episode review. We have Leia being a badass, Tala also being a badass, and still a one-note Reva? Ahh, but is there some hope for a character arc thrown in? Obi-Wan finally embraces the lightsaber and oh so much more! This episode, however, is the shortest on record at only 36 mins! Yikes… However, there's a lot of talk of Season 2 Obi-Wan Kenobi being greenlighted. Jawa Chatter Podcast & Socials:

In this episode of our Star Wars podcast Jawa Chatter, we talk about Star Wars The Clone Wars Season 1 sort of ending. This will be our last Clone Wars episode for awhile! We'll be covering the Obi-Wan Kenobi Show and Star Wars Celebration where we'll be soon! We have a lot of current Star Wars content coming and we can't wait! For this episode though we go over all things Ryloth! Season 1 Episodes 19, 20, & 21. Storm Over Ryloth, Innocents of Ryloth, and Liberty on Ryloth. In these episodes we really focus on the Twi'leks homeworld and the horrible position their people and planet are in. The episodes give different jedis the spotlight. First up is Ahsoka and Anakin, then it's the Obi-Wan episode and then and for the first time for this show, Mace Windu episode. We also get a character that you'll be seeing a lot more of General Syndulla! These episode we have definitely deemed necessary, the last two especially are arguably the best in season 1 of clone wars! https://www.starwars.com/news/star-wars-the-clone-wars-chronological-episodeorder (https://www.starwars.com/news/star-wars-the-clone-wars-chronological-episodeorder) Jawa Chatter Podcast & Socials:
The Star Wars Obi-Wan Kenobi Disney+ Series is so close! In this episode we talk about the Obi-Wan Kenobi predictions, what we know now and the characters in the show. The three of us take some crazy guesses at how this will play out and some that may not end up being far off the mark. Will we see Ahsoka in this series? How will the Darth Vader Obi-Wan fight go? Will Bail Organa show up? We've seen kid Luke, what about kid Leia? All the prediction and more on our Star Wars Podcast Jawa Chatter, predicting what's to come in Obi-Wan Kenobi Show! Star Wars Clone Wars Review, Happy Star Wars Day, Week, Revenge of the Fifth, all of it! In this episode we cover Season 1, episode 15, 17, & 18. Trespass, Blue Shadow Virus, and Mystery of a Thousand Moons. The first episode is a random one off one with an alien species you may or may not recognize. After that in the next two episodes we have pretty much all of the main characters, Ahsoka, Obi-Wan, Anakin, Rex, Padme and yes, even Jar Jar Binks. We also come across a very pink Gungan. We then run into a mad Star Wars scientist that is with the separatists? Naboo is the location and a deadly virus is threat. This two part episode takes us on a whirlwind ride. Next week we will cover the end of Season 1 of the Clone Wars! Jawa Chatter Podcast & Socials:
In this episode of our Star Wars podcast, we talk about the next two episodes of Star Wars the Clone Wars the Animated Series, Jedi Crash & Defenders of Peace (Clone Wars Ep. 113 & 114). In these episodes, the Ahsoka Anakin combo is back, but also we get to see Aayla Secura! A fun fan-favorite Jedi, Ayla Secura brings a fun mix into these somewhat flat episodes. In episode 113, Anakin gets hurt, the gang loses a lot of clones (go figure), and Ahsoka gets a bit too irrational over protecting Anakin. Aayla Secura takes charge looking for help on a planet they're stranded on and on it they find lemur-like creatures that we refer to as Zoboomafoos. Episode 114 continues where that one left off, we get Anakin the help he needs and a big battle is on the horizon, though Zoboomafoos will not be helping as they are pacifists. Jawa Chatter as a whole this week laughs makes jokes and towards the end has a quick discussion about being a Star Wars fan and how it's okay to joke around about it. Also, make sure to check out the end of last week's episode if you haven't already, it's extremely funny. Jawa Chatter Podcast & Socials:
In this episode of our Star Wars podcast Jawa Chatter, we talk about Star Wars The Clone Wars Season 1 episodes 9 and 10. (109, 110). That is Cloak of Darkness and Lair of Grievous. In these episodes, we have a lot of fun discussing the pushback Ahsoka gives Master Luminara while trying to keep their prison Nute Gunray. We also discuss how clear it is the Jedi outside of Obi-Wan, Anakin, & Ahsoka struggle against fights with the likes of Sith or those associated with them aka Dooku, Grievous, and Asajj Ventress. In episode 9 Ventress shines and so do the Separatists. In episode 10 we get some funny moments and a familiar Jedi, Kit Fisto! We also watch as a lot of clone troopers die in brutal ways while the Jedi make mistakes, Clone Wars Season 1 folks! We are back with Star Wars the Clone Wars! Today in this episode we discuss 108 Bombad Jedi, 111 Dooku Captured, & 112 The Gungan General. We don't see much of Ahsoka here. Instead we are on Jar Jar Binks, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker and Count Dooku kick. There's a lot of gungan here sure, but there's also a lot of fun jedi sith banter. Additionally we meet a recurring character, Hondo Ohnaka! He's not just a character at the Disney theme parks friends! In these episodes you'll get space pirates, clone troopers following Jar Jar Binks and honestly some pretty dark themes around death. We also have some more amazing Anakin Obi-Wan adventures with Dooku simply being Dooku. This is also one of the spiciest but most hilarious episodes we've ever put out! Star Wars the Clone Wars the Animated Series is not only some amazing Star Wars content, but it is being heavily referenced in all of Star Wars tv shows on Disney+ these days. We had the idea at Jawa Chatter, to help those of you who haven't seen the series or need a refresher on as many episodes as possible before the Kenobi series releases in May. In this order, we will be going through it in a way that makes sense. The show was released in a confusing way for most people, our watch list which you can find here will help guide you. You're welcome to watch along, go ahead of us, or whatever you desire. This is the best list to go off of though, it's in a sequential/chronological order. The stories are grouped together in a way that makes a lot more sense than the release order of the Clone Wars. We start this week with Episode 216 Cat and Mouse with a daring space battle. Then onto 116 Hidden Enemy, we have a Clone Trooper suspected of treason! After that, we dive into the first twenty-five minutes of The Clone Wars theatrical release. In addition today we have a special guest! Clarus Polaris the Wise, an absolute star, legend, and lover of things nerdy, including Star Wars has joined us in a very fun episode! We look forward to taking this journey with you and we are so excited, especially since two of us (Claudia & Clarus), have never seen the show before. Jawa Chatter Podcast & Socials:

In this episode, Nerdy, Claudia, & Jeffers each tell of their experiences with the game, how or why it resonated with them. Cal Kestis takes us on a journey unique to the Star Wars universe. Five years after the events of Revenge of the Sith, Cal is a former Jedi Padawan hiding out from the Empire, hiding who he is, until one day he can't help but save others. For Nerdy, this Star Wars game is a cherished memory, for Jeffers the best one he's played in a long time and for Claudia the Star Wars newbie, it was the hook. Part 2! In this episode we rank the rest of the films, starting with Revenge of the Sith and making our way through the sequel trilogy, finishing up with the galaxy not so far away in Solo and Rogue One! Utinni friends, welcome in, you're listening to Jawa Chatter: A Star Wars podcast made for the those that love the series and newcomers that want a guide to know more. I am one of your hosts Jeffers the middle ground fan and with me are my co-hosts - Nerdy the fan of everything and Claudia the Star Wars Newbie. Thank you for joining us today! We are so excited to have you listening to the first episode of our podcast and we couldn't be more excited to do this with you. Despite much of this podcast episodes focusing on Star Wars content outside of the films, we are the new kids on the block, and so to help you get to know us better, we thought it would be best to show you how we feel and think about the franchise. And in doing this, our first episode will be us each ranking the Star Wars films in order, a ranking of which none of us have revealed to each other. This should be interesting. Something of note about this podcast, there is no wrong answer here, something we love about Star Wars is that each film or piece of content speaks to others differently, love what you love, all are welcome here, this is a non-toxic community and in the end, despite any critiques they're healthy ones and you'll never hear us trash or hate on the franchise. Before we start our ranking let's have a quick discussion, if you are new comers to these films, maybe you've only watched the Mandalorian or Mandalorian and Book of Boba Fett, where do you go next? What's the best route? The Films That Will Be Ranked: A New Hope The Empire Strikes Back Return of the Jedi The Phantom Menace Attack of The Clones Revenge of the Sith Rogue One: A Star Wars Story Solo: A Star Wars Story The Force Awakens The Last Jedi Rise of Skywalker We will each go through our rankings, from bottom to top or top to bottom and give brief explanations on why each film is in the spot given and of course the other two will chime in and this will turn into an organic discussion.
