In this episode of Star Wars Generations, host Matthew takes control to discuss his favorite episodes from Season 1 of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, specifically episodes 11–14. These episodes cover two distinct arcs: the "Dooku Captured" storyline and the Lurmen episodes, "Jedi Crash" and "Defenders of Peace."The first arc introduces fans to the infamous pirate Hondo Ohnaka as he captures Count Dooku, then subsequently captures Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker when they come to verify Dooku's imprisonment. The hosts discuss how this storyline showcases the comedic potential of The Clone Wars through the witty banter between Obi-Wan, Anakin, and Dooku. They examine how this arc highlights characters who aren't invested in the war but are simply trying to profit from it.What does the Lurmen arc reveal about Jedi philosophy? The hosts explore how the second storyline presents thought-provoking questions about war, peace, and the Jedi Order's role as "peacekeepers." When Ahsoka Tano, Anakin Skywalker, and Aayla Secura crash-land on a planet inhabited by the pacifist Lurmen, they encounter a society that challenges their fundamental beliefs about violence and defense.Topics the hosts discussed:How Hondo Ohnaka's introduction marks a memorable debut despite his character evolving significantly in later appearancesWhether the strict pacifism of the Lurmen is portrayed as admirable or impracticalHow Ahsoka serves as an audience surrogate for young viewers grappling with complex ethical questionsWhat Tee Watt Kaa's challenge to Aayla Secura about true peacekeeping reveals about the Jedi's contradictionsThe episode concludes with the hosts looking forward to upcoming discussions, including their book club covering Mask of Fear from the Reign of the Empire series and their planned coverage of Andor Season 2 when it releases next month. **************************************************************************This episode is a production of Star Wars Generations, a The Ethical Panda Podcast and part of the TruStory FM Entertainment Podcast Network. What we initially thought was going to be a forgettable two episode arc turns out to be a very solid adventure, with interesting new characters and a fun pair of morals. The first wonders about the difference between caring and becoming attached, and the second asking the question of which is right: fighting evil with violence or pacifism at all costs. In this episode of our Star Wars podcast, we talk about the next two episodes of Star Wars the Clone Wars the Animated Series, Jedi Crash & Defenders of Peace (Clone Wars Ep. 113 & 114). In these episodes, the Ahsoka Anakin combo is back, but also we get to see Aayla Secura! A fun fan-favorite Jedi, Ayla Secura brings a fun mix into these somewhat flat episodes. In episode 113, Anakin gets hurt, the gang loses a lot of clones (go figure), and Ahsoka gets a bit too irrational over protecting Anakin. Aayla Secura takes charge looking for help on a planet they're stranded on and on it they find lemur-like creatures that we refer to as Zoboomafoos. Episode 114 continues where that one left off, we get Anakin the help he needs and a big battle is on the horizon, though Zoboomafoos will not be helping as they are pacifists. Jawa Chatter as a whole this week laughs makes jokes and towards the end has a quick discussion about being a Star Wars fan and how it's okay to joke around about it. Also, make sure to check out the end of last week's episode if you haven't already, it's extremely funny. Jawa Chatter Podcast & Socials:

Shenanigans ensue in the Count Dooku Captured arc (Season 1, Episodes 11-12) and “disreputable” is the word of the day. Dooku might have racked up the second highest kill count of the episode (behind the one and only Jar-Jar Binks) but Obi-Wan's banter slays. Come for the cutting insults and stay for the cutting insults! PS: Tune into our new Patreon-exclusive series, “Spice Run!” Watching along with us? As observed by Peter in the latest puncast, every sci-fi show needs an irish colony episode! Justin and Mathew remain unimpressed with nearly everything, but this two episode arc (JEDI CRASH and DEFENDERS OF THE PEACE) does inspire some Paul McCartney impressions, so let's not call the whole thing off!
Tom returns to discuss the series debut of another of his favorite Jedi, Aayla Secura! This episode opens with a really great action sequence but does it hold up once the action has passed? This is part one of a two parter, so strap on your buckets! Let's go!! Thank for listening!

We have returned! Real-life impacted us a bit, and we took a week off. This episode was a bit of a train wreck because the divas had an "exciting" week. The outcome of this chaos is another hilarious and fantastic episode. In this episode, we cover Clone Wars episodes "Jedi Crash" (s1e13) and "Defenders of the Peace" (s1e14). We introduce two new counters, discuss how "Jedi-ish" Anakin Skywalker is, the weird Lemur people, pacifism, and a ton of innuendo!
