With a focus on vinyl releases, for the collectors, Spandau20 has lately also focused on its label nights, with showcases at Fabric, Bassiani and many others. The label's 10th release features 10 tracks that epitomise the musical diversity of Spandau20 and the progressive musical mindset of its roster, calling on the label favourites and Spandau natives to deliver brand new and exciting music. This special release even features one track that all artists have worked on together: ‘Come Closer', a swarming, slithering beginning featured as the VA's opener. Its barely coherent female vocal echoing amidst a cacophony of demon-like effects. The chilling ambience captured at the offset transcends into the first full length track by Elli Acula, ‘Floating Eyes', a cur characterised by an authoritative, pounding bass featuring calculated percussive rolls and metallic overtones to make for a face-scrunching opener to this devilish collection of works. FJAAK follow for the first of twin cameo appearances, partnering up with fellow live supremo and hardware aficionado KiNK. On ‘Overbridge' the trio deliver a cavernous, rolling number driven by a deep thrumming bass in addition to a razor-edged lead synth, and pulsating technopattern. Dajusch is known for incorporating his years of classical study in with his immersive musical style – and with his VA effort the Berlin native neatly showcases this. Easing the energy slightly, ‘Move' escalates from its warm, melodic intro into rumbling goliath of a beat comprising a looping, slew of gassy harmonics. The momentum of the release shifts considerably with the introduction of acutely versatile producer, DJ and sound artist Claus. The artist from Spandau leans his track ‘Bloomscroll' towards sparse, dubby sonics in which he intricately ties together to form churning, burgeoning soundscape. FJAAK jolt proceedings back into the techno groove with their signature blend of arresting sub-bass and reverberating rhythms, which come thick, fast and heavy on ‘Jackfruit'. The abstract wonder of Anna Z's broken-beat like stylings is fully explored on ‘Icy Liq'. It's outlandish and amorphous in its execution, causing a clattering percussive chaos that's choicely pieced together by the modular-extraordinaire. Nikk stealthy moves into breaks territory with his track ‘Down In The Shadows', packing a trap-like snare with an acid-flecked melody and dawn-breaking, dream-like textures. The penultimate track on the VA is ‘Tufted'. J.Manuel expertly employs a chorus of robot-like sonics that course through a short-circuiting low-end to produce a pacy, inescapable journey via a whirling, merciless beat. He is joined by the legendary producer Tobi Neumann for their menacingly ambient number titled ‘Fennec.' In parts a nod to UK dubstep, the duo concocts a fierce admixture of styles bolstering tribal-like components with industrialised overtones and methodically crafted drum-fills.

The King James bible is undoubtedly one of the most influential translations in history, yet today there are those that insist it is the only “true” translation. Since the 17th century, this tradition has evolved into what is today a movement with a legacy of bad fruits, pseudoscience and a spirit of division. In this comprehensive documentary you will learn why the KJV Only movement is not only wrong, but guided by the same legalistic spirit as other works of the enemy. This is a public episode. Today we live in the wealthiest of the 7 churches of Revelation, Laodicea, yet our church receives no commendation from Christ because of this wealth. We are therefore encouraged to embrace trials, persevere and become a Berean — to study the scriptures and know God's word in a world full of deceptions and distractions, so that the Master finds us ready when He returns. In this video you will learn how to think like a Fennec Fox and study the bible with acuity. This is a public episode. The rise of Houssem Aouar. Houssem-Eddine Chaâbane Aouar is a professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Serie A club Roma and the Algeria national team. Born in France, he made one appearance for his country of birth before switching his allegiance to Algeria.
There are about 15,000 children in temporary foster care in Pennsylvania. Most of them will return to their family of origin. It can be painful for kids to be separated from their parents or families and for younger children, it may be hard to understand what's happening to them and around them. A new children's book called The Watchful Owl tells the story of a young fox that loses his parents and lives with another animal family. It was written by Heather Paterno, an attorney who focuses on families and children's issues and is a board member of Dauphin County's Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children or CASA. The artwork in the The Watchful Owl also tells the story and will keep kids' attention. It's illustrated by artist P.D. Murray. Both Heather Paterno and P.D. Murray were with us on The Spark Wednesday. Paterno surmised the story,"The story is just a parable of sort of what could happen to a child in the foster care system, sort of told through a family of animals, so that children can understand it. And essentially what happens to Fennec is he doesn't have a father who's around. His mother's working hard, raising the family. And tragically, something happens to her. She gets picked up by a hunter and the great owl, that's a watchful owl, has always circled around the woods and looked out for all of the the creatures in the woods. And he gathers the community together. And they come up with a plan to look out for Fennec and his siblings." Fennec, the young fox is taken in by the deer family after he loses his mother. Paterno that's part of the story behind the story,"There is a lesson there. And really it is how a child can walk through the dependency system. This is a very common thing that we do. We have what's called family group conferences, where whenever a child is in care, obviously you want to keep them and the most natural place that you can. So that's why we look to family members. That's why we look to to community members. You never want to have to pick up a child and put them with strangers. Now this fox winds up being with strangers. But he also has two siblings that wind up living with family members. And it's very common. You'll see that a lot in the dependency system. They have these family group conferences and they bring in everybody. And how can we keep the child in their most natural environment of origin? And who are the supports? Who are the people that we can bring around to help assist this family?" Murray's illustrations help tell the story, especially of Fennec, who is vulnerable,"He's small in most of the scenes. He's little in these environments of these dark woods and larger animals and such. You know, people talk a lot about the importance of representation of kids, how they look, skin color, gender, all of those things in books. But I think it's really critical to -- and Heather has done this wonderfully to capture the needs state of children and to have representation of that. So this does a wonderful job of preparing children or children that aren't in the foster system. Probably build some empathy out of reading a story like this." Murray was asked what the takeaway is from The Watchful Owl,"I think it's a heartwarming story without being pollyannish. It really tells about the foster system when everything goes right, when there's a champion for a child." Proceeds from sales of the book will go to Dauphin County's CASA. Paterno explained what CASA does,"These are volunteers, community volunteers who get trained in child abuse and the dependency system. And then they are appointed either one child or one sibling group, one family group. And they also help to advocate for the child's best interests through their entire court proceedings. And, what I can tell you in Dauphin County itself, we have over 350 children right now who are in foster care. That's a lot of kids. And while each child has what I was, which was a guardian ad litem, I can tell you, is guardians of litem or G-A-L, as we call them for short. They often have anywhere from 60 to it can be 110 children. So it's really tough to know what is going on with all of those children every day. Every moment of every day. What's going -on in school, what's going on in their home life, what's going on, with them psychologically and emotionally. Are they getting checked in and seen regularly? So having this outside volunteer come in and represent that one child or one family where they can devote all of their time, to helping, maybe they can find that one psychological report that was buried, that had that one nugget of information that was helpful. And that's what Dauphin County CASA does. They recruit and they train these advocates, to really make a difference in a child's life." Avalonia XPF This episode of The Modern .NET Show is supported, in part, by Avalonia XPF, a binary-compatible cross-platform fork of WPF, enables WPF apps to run on new platforms with minimal effort and maximum compatibility. Show Notes And keep in mind that, not to bash OWASP and the top ten at all because I'm a big fan of OWASP, but people always tell me like, "yeah, I'm OWASP compliant," and that's the biggest BS, to be honest. Because a top ten could not like, it should be an awareness piece and you should work from it. And there are better ways of dealing with that. But I think a security scorecard should never be a goal. It should be a means to reach the goal, to have better understanding, right? And hopefully they can change stuff and be more expressive. — Niels Tanis Welcome to The Modern .NET Show! Formerly known as The .NET Core Podcast, we are the go-to podcast for all .NET developers worldwide and I am your host Jamie "GaProgMan" Taylor. In this episode, Niels Tanis returned to the show. He was previous on the show back in episode 69 - The Risks of Third Party Code With Niels Tanis - which was released back in February of 2021. I asked Niels to back on the show to talk more about securing the software development supply chain and SBoMs (Software Bills of Materials). Yeah, that makes sense. It's funny. So I think when I started out talking about supply chain, and there were some tools that have been introduced to do SBoM data, and then you also come into an area called provenance, which tells more about the build and about "this build server was used. And I've run on GitHub actions, or I run on a GitLab instance, or I have stuff done differently," right? Maybe even the Redhat one: Tekton, that kind of thing. And based on that, I'm producing an SBoM. And I did a talk and I concluded with that, "it's like, these are cool tools, you need to look into it." And then somebody at the end asked me the question, "and the what? You have all the data? And then what?" I said, "yeah, that's solid question because that will be the next step." And it's funny that you mentioned it as well. So over the time, I think it was around already when I started out talking. But there's a project that Google created called Guac. — Niels Tanis So let's sit back, open up a terminal, type in dotnet new podcast and we'll dive into the core of Modern .NET. What an episode, finally Star Wars feels like Star Wars again and all because we have a force user and a lightsaber. Omega follows after Batcher who hears a noise in a cavern. She walks in and finds a ship, and out walks Asajj Ventress. Back from the dead! I have no idea how she survived, but we'll get to that later. The bad batch see Asajj holding Omega and tells them Fennec sent her. How she found their location, who knows, but she is Asajj. Now if you don't know who Asajj is, I'll make some videos about her to be released this week for you. Basically, she's a very very powerful force user who was the apprentice of Count Dooku at one point during the clone wars. She was a separatist and is the one who gave Anakin his eye scar. Asajj tells them that M-Count means midichlorians and those who have it are more capable of wielding the force. She says it doesn't mean you're a jedi, but it means you could develop abilities if trained properly. She mentions how kaminoans made millions of clones, so it is possible that one clone would become force sensitive out of millions of clones. This is accurate with lore, as Starkiller had to be cloned over and over and over again for him to finally be made properly without any issues. Learn more about your ad choices. This episode was a mix between a side mission of a side mission and Omega teaching Crosshair to meditate. Fee gives them some intel on M-Count's information, and informs them that the Empire has been hiring bounty hunters to capture beings with a high M-Count, so meaning, Jedi or just beings who have a higher midichlorian. The Bad Batch tell her Fennec Shand the bounty hunter would know. Hunter tells her that Fennec was hired by the Kaminoans to capture Omega, and she might know the intel on this M-Count business. Hunter makes Omega stay with Crosshair, while Wrecker and Hunter go to find Fennec. Meeting her in a bar, they tell her what they're looking for, and she hits us with a side mission, if you do this for me, I'll tell you what you want to know type of deal. There's a bounty on a praying mantis, they have to go to a swampy planet to get him, so they do, disable some mines, fight some gators, and bag the bounty. Crosshair tries to fix his hand by getting it examined by AZ and they deduce that it's all in his head from the rough experiments they did on him in Tantis. I think they probably mentally broke him and he feels traumatized so he's always having anxiety now. So while Wrecker Fennec and Hunter bag the bounty, Crosshair learns meditation from Omega. This will most likely heal him and he'll have steady aim again. She learned Jedi meditation from Gungi the Jedi. It makes me wonder if her or crosshair meditating will develop their possible force powers somehow, assuming they have any. Especially considering Omega has blood that connects to Palpatine's M-Count, or she has M-Count adaptable blood, will she now become stronger in the force? I think it's leading into that. Upon the success of the mission, Fennec drops Wrecker and Hunter off at their docking bay, and tells them she'll be in touch once she gets their information. She blasts off into space and calls who I think is Asajj Ventress, who is a bounty hunter, who is supposed to be dead, but I guess the books in canon don't matter anymore. Her theme song can be heard during this scene, the same one from the Clone Wars. In the next episode I think Asajj will probably track the bad batch down and try to capture Omega for the Empire because at the end of the day, that's a bigger bounty than anything. The rise of Amine Gouiri. Amine Ferid Gouiri is a professional footballer who plays as a striker or left winger for Ligue 1 club Rennes. Born in France, he plays for the Algeria national team.
I wrote a very fan service / fun alternate (loose) ending to the Mandalorian season 3. Hope you smirk at it and LMK what you think! At the end of mando season 2, Grogu leaves with luke skywalker and r2d2...only to return to Din after a couple episodes of him with Luke in the book of boba fett show. I think what would have worked better, was if grogu stayed with luke, and when the time of the mandalorian season finale came, Grogu felt something wrong with Din in the force, once he was captured by Moff Gideon, as the events played out the way they would have basically, just without grogu there, Luke grogu and R2 get in the X-wing and fly over to Mandalore as per Grogu's wishes. He has been training with luke for 2 years now as jon favreau said, so he's much stronger and in tuned with the force, so he feels Din is in trouble. They head to Mandalore, break Din out, until they come across the hall of Clones. It's Din, Grogu, and Luke, as Bo Katan fights the storm troopers in beskar with the other Mandalorians, siege of mandalore style. The clones aren't moff gideon, but rather Clones of Darth Maul, as we find out that Moff Gideon is a Darth Maul loyalist...i mean, if we can't figure it out from the clues all throughout the show, the horns and double bladed staff are a dead giveaway. So all these force sensitive darth mauls come alive, and luke has to fight them. This would be a major nod to George Lucas' original plans for the sequel trilogy he was creating and had written treatments for before Disney did their own thing, thinking they know better. Where he had Luke train new jedi for his jedi order and Darth Maul would return to train his apprentice Darth Talon. While Luke fights Maul, Mando helps Bo Katan fight Moff and Praetorian and it's an all out war while Mandalorians fly overhead with the stormtroopers and newly upgraded dark troopers with them. I'd have loved to see some bounty hunters as well working for the empire flying in there to make it real difficult for the mandalorians. This is where Boba, Fennec and Black Krrsantan show up to blast em in the Slave 1. Dropping seismic charges where applicable and blasting off out of his ship with his jet pack to join the war. While the Mythosaur gets angry at all the seismic charges being dropped and rises to absolutely destroy the area around them. Grogu and Luke use their powers to tame the beast for the moment, and Bo rides it, becoming the supreme ruler of Mandalore as the enemies are defeated. Super fan fictiony. Super fan service, but ultimately, more exciting than what we got. Oh and the dark saber isn't destroyed. Mandalore is back to where it was before the Empire's purge. Grogu back with Din. Luke goes to meet Han and Leia and introduced to Ben Solo, nodding to his journey as we will see him later. Boba in Slave 1 with crew off on an adventure. Bo Katan lights the torch and leads Mandalore Everyone off to their own story, to be met up with again in Dave Filoni's movie (and the Ahsoka show coming up) Learn more about your ad choices. All of season 2 has revolved around the Jedi and reuniting Grogu with them. With boba, bo katan and Ashoka showing up, I can't imagine who will arrive next. While I want to see Luke Skywalker again more than anything, I have to say one Jedi I do think could answer the call from Grogu on Tython is Cal Kestis. There are a few reasons that he in particular might come, and I think it'll make a lot of sense once you reach the end of my explanations. Cal Kestis was a Jedi who survived order 66, this puts him as a possible candidate for knowing who Grogu was, especially seeing as how he was quite young when it happened, around the age of 12. Which makes him 17 once fallen order happens, which is 5 years after revenge of the Sith. I don't think he was the one who saved Grogu, but they might have known each other, and shared a strong connection. Cal had a power called Psychometry. This was a super rare ability granted to very few Jedi. One other Jedi who had this, was Quinlan Voss who used it in the clone wars. Psychometry is the power of seeing the history of an object upon first touching it. If Cal were to sense the familiarity of Grogu's presence reaching out on the seeing stone in the force, he would answer the call. He'd arrive on Tython and even though the dark troopers took Grogu to Moff Gideon, and Mando Boba and Fennec had left, all he'd need to do was touch the seeing stone to get a flash of everything that had just happened there. He'd see and feel what Grogu saw and felt. He would go over to the crater of the Razor crest's remains, and he would touch the scorched earth, only to feel who destroyed the ship that belonged to Din Djarrin. He would sense the urgency of the matter, and he would answer the call of duty. Another reason it could be Cal, is because Jedi Fallen order ended in the beautiful realization that force sensitive children who escaped Order 66 are still out there in the galaxy, and Jedi Fallen Order 2 will basically be that story of him finding these lost younglings and padawans throughout the galaxy. Cal's Jedi Master, who unfortunately died, while protecting the young Cal Kestis from the clone troopers, a Lasat male named Jaro Tapal, taught his padawan how to be courageous and focus on the good things in the galaxy, but also how to embrace failure as a learning opportunity. Because of his Master's teaching, Cal spends his time helping others and trusting in the Force which is what lead him to Jedi Knight Cere Junda and her mission to secretly restore the Jedi Order. Morgan Elsbeth. During the Clone Wars, her people were massacred. She survived, and let her anger fuel an industry which helped build the Imperial Starfleet. She plundered worlds, destroying them in the process. Could she be in charge of some line of the Kuat Drive Yards. Now check this, one of the artists who did Inosanto's hair and makeup was done by Maria Sandoval. According to Sandoval, Elsbeth was one of the last survivors of Dathomir. Dathomir played a large chapter in Jedi Fallen Order with Merrin. Merrin must have known Elsbeth as well. There are a lot of connections between these people in such a large galaxy that makes me really think Cal could actually show up. Grogu sits on the seeing stone, which lights up in the ancient runes that we see all throughout Jedi Fallen Order. Like was Grogu saving his progressing and adding to his skill tree atop the stone? The lore being used is one and the same I think, so it actually makes me think, Cal might be just as logical of a Jedi to arrive, than Luke. In fact, maybe even more logical. He could show up in the end, only to help save the day, and name drop master Skywalker, who has sent him to recruit lost force sensitives throughout the galaxy. The only problem is, they'll have to kill Cal Kestis off before the sequels start, otherwise it'd be too weird with him not around if he ends up being part of the story. Karthon chop fields as we see prison inmates serving time by dissasembling imperial machines, namely, tie fighters, as we even see ATAT's repurposed in the background as cranes. As the droid walks up to Mayfeld, he tells him to salute Marshall dune, where she remands him in her custody. As they walk around the corner, they meet up with the crew, as we see the beautiful Slave 1, and of course Boba Fett, who repainted his rusted up armour. I like the look, it looks like he's going for some batman matte green vibes. I love it. As they head to Morak, Boba tells us that Morak is mining Rhydonium Mando and Mayfeld get in the trooper suits, as we all know, he can't show his face as part of his creed from death watch. Now Death Watch changed their rules after order 66 to reserve their identity and numbers, since the empire were against them, that's my theory at least, until we know more for sure. As Mando and Mayfeld head inside to stormtroopers celebrating, they head for a terminal. Fennec and Cara stand guard outside, aim down their sights. As Mando and Mayfeld sith for drinks with the commander for drinks, Mayfeld says they should toast to operation cinder. Now operation cinder is a reference to when we learned about that during battlefront 2 campaign. Operation cinder was part of palpatine's contingency plan to be carried out should he ever die. It was essentially that the empire's enemies shouldn't survive if he didn't. So they set up massive satellites above planets and fired red lasers to mess around with the planet's weather, basically causing Mother Nature on every planet to go absolutely insane and destroy itself in a blaze of fire and storm. Valin Hess says wow you know your history, when he says he was there during burnin konn, which was one of the planets they executed operation cinder upon. The people who died were around 5-10000, including many imperial troops. Valin Hess approved operation cinder on the planet, and you can tell Mayfeld is hit with some PTSD. Bill Burr at this point is giving an incredible performance man I gotta say, they guy did his homework for sure. As Valin Hess defends his actions of murder, he talks about how he made decisions to be where they are today, and the rhydonium that they just delivered, will make burnin konn look like nothing. To the empire, Hess says as he raises his glass, only to be blasted in the chest by Mayfeld a second later. The two shoot their way out of there, heading onto the ledge as Cara and Fennec offer sniper support ontop of the hill. Boba flies in and the boys head up to the ship as they leap into it while blasting troopers all around them. Mayfeld snipes the rhydonium far away and blows up the whole compound. As Boba escapes, two tie-fighters head straight for him, when he releases a seismic charge, which is the best sound in Star Wars. Shout out to all my prequelers who saw episode 2 in the theatre where we all lost some hearing when Jango dropped a couple of those on Kenobi in the asteroid field. Like music to my audio receptors. They meet up with fennec and cara, as they let Mayfeld go for a job well done. Claiming he died in the base's destruction. Mayfeld probably gets off the planet somehow, and maybe we'll see him again someday. Thank you for listening to today's episode. I hope you have a great day, and I'll catch you in the next one! May the force be with you, ALWAYS!Mando tells Cara he has the coordinates for Moff Gideon, and the slave one blasts off with that beautiful iconic blast off into the sky. We enter moff Gideon's light cruiser as his officer informs him of a message and pops Mando's hologram up on the desk. Mando recites the exact same lines Moff Gideon tells him in Season 1 episode 7, the same episode number as this one. Mof Gideon, you have something I want. You may think you have some idea of what you're in possession of. But you do not. Soon, he will be back with me. He means more to me than you will ever know. Learn more about your ad choices.
