Tyler Williams is the guitarist of Hamilton, ON metalcore band Counterparts. Originally joining the band on bass in 2017, Tyler shifted to guitar and has been laying down absolutely nasty riffage ever since. The band joined the "Metalcore Dropouts" tour supporting The Devil Wears Prada in 2023, which was so successful that they added a second leg in the winter. Their most recent EP, "Heaven Let Them Die" has been circulating and getting a lot of buzz. The band calls the effort "honest, harsh and without restraint”. Catch them this February/March on a full U.S. headliner with support from Pain of Truth, Malevolence and Foreign Hands. They'll be in Japan this May for the Bloodaxe Festival and Australia this June for a few dates with support from Dying Wish.
