Welcome to the Wonder World of Naheemah! Episode 64 is bringing you a true woman of grace, an Anti-Burnout Coach helping women of color CEO's breakup with burnout and no longer compromise their wellbeing of peace, Naheemah McMichaeux-McCallop. Naheemah came to coaching due to the shift the pandemic made a lot of us embrace. Having already worked with female CEO's and being a CEO and director herself, she knew there was a shift necessary, even in herself. Coming back to, or discover for the first time, that selfcare has a deeper meaning than pampering, but is actually a lifestyle and when harnessed, women can grow rapidly and authentically, Naheemah dove in to be able to give more to other women. In this dive, she created her signature program 'The Divine Pause' which is A 5 week community group that is a temporary stop to rest, be still, lean in and connect up. And in her words it is "more than a one off event, it's soul care". We talked about the space in-between when the parts are broken open, just before you are able to figure out the next steps, how it is uncomfortable but necessary to grow. How Naheemah herself, a mother of two young children, finally declared that "my most urgent priorities are about me and nobody else". And we talked about her own experience in the corporate culture, and looking at a specific moment when prepping for an interview and how her hair can under scrutiny from a friend, bringing us to the topic of The Crown Act. This conversation will have you pause and tune in and start to rethink, not just of self, but of those around you. It is one to share with friends and family and maybe to listen to twice. How strong is your internal fortitude? Fortitude is having a strong will in the face of danger or pain, and this episode is all about finding and growing that courage of self. Tina Turner's documentary was released the other day entitled, "Tina" and I was blow away by her tenacity but more so her level of self acceptance, growth, and willingness to not live in her past. This episode is all about looking at how a piece Tina Turner's story, the idea that changing the direction of your thoughts changes the direction of your life and that living, mentally in the past, in the failures, in the sorrow only handcuffs you to it and keeps you from thriving. I'm looking forward to your feedback on this one, because I'm sure the few concepts and the few ideas of ways to change the path of your thinking will resonate.
You'll be smarter by the end of this episode, swear! Sitting down at the Life Over Brunch table today, from her home in Oregon, is Life Coach and Motivational Speaker, Rachelle Indra. Rachelle brings to you the no nonsense "how it is" of it all with her motto, "Teaching you the shit they didn't teach in school". With her background in NLP, neuron lingustic programming and her hilarious sense of humor, she and I dove into the deep waters of the old phrase, "what you think you become". She teaches us that, that phrase is true and on a deeply scientific level, as she discusses the physical change in our neuro pathways when we consistently think a thought dove and over, it grows, and thoughts we fail to connect with, well our brains weed out. We also discuss the benefits of seeing help outside of our close circle and why finding a different path to get to the same goal, in time, gets you to a far better and more well fitting place. Rachelle will amaze you and likely have you thinking about thinking! Yes. Just. That's about it folks...I kid! This episode is meant for an easy listen with a powerful homework assignment for you to complete...say yes. I talk about the places and the reason why we say a half yes, and the places we allow fear to force us from saying a yes, and how when we finally get the courage to say yes to what feels in alignment for ourselves, that every fiber of our being changes...for the better! Dropping and exclusive on 2 upcoming things and hoping to hear back from you about your own yes, this episode feels like a Snuggie for your soul!
Solo Episode Alert! After watching the documentary, "Framing Britney" I was moved to talk with you about the seemingly sticky spot Britney Spears is in, how unfortunate the past 13 years have been in that regard, and how you have to stop feeding your own fears because they will become the self imposed restrictions of your life. Looking at the legal aspect of conservatorship in general, and my own assumptions as to why it was utilized initially is some of what I dive into, but also I encourage you to release the handcuffs you allow your daily fears to put on you because it is only then where you will find that you can finally thrive. Hope this episode brings you some freedom of thought!
"One persons superfood is another persons kryptonite" That quote from this weeks guest, Functional Diagnostic Nutritional Practitioner and Board Certified Holistic Health Coach, Courtney Bursich, truly sets the tone for our incredible conversation. Courtney says that when most people get to her she is their last stop after having exhausted all medical avenues and health and fitness routines. No matter what they have done, how they have eaten, and as healthy as they try to be, something remains "off". With Courtney's help and her deep intake, looking at each client as a whole person, she helps to, through functional testing and protocols, put the missing pieces to their health puzzle together. When you are only looking at food and fitness and not looking deeper at what is going on at a cellular level, at how heavy metals and gut health being askew can have an effect on the body's systems as a whole, well you miss the mark. This is one episode that is going to change your mind from feeling like you want to give up, feeling like your body has let you down, to seeing there is light a the end of the tunnel as long as you keep advocating for yourself and seek some guidance. Welcome to a new season of Life Over Brunch! This first episode of the new year brings a quickie to your earbuds and talks all about how if Aaron Burr can overcome what life handed to him (by his own hand) then you can too. Wrapping up 2020 with some insights and sharing why Kiki's creation was my Phoenix rising from the ashes. We've done a lot this year. We have endured and changed and morphed and made due. This episode talks about that, but also talks about how NOW is the time to STOP attempting to fit your square peg self into circles that either never did or no longer fit. With all that comes with taking a long hard look in the mirror, I wanted to share with you that, you too can do hard things and how the creation of Kiki's came at an extremely hard moment in my life. It's creation allowed for me to realize that where I was at the time was in the depths of shame and defeat. But, I share the story to show that you too are able to move past any hard circumstance you find yourself in today. It's been one hell of a 365. Wrapping it in a nice bow for you all and with the hope that your next week, no matter the date, is better than today!
You get what you get and you don't get upset! No, I'm not talking about six year olds and candy bars, folks. I'm talking about you dealing with your inner pitfalls in order to move forward. With the winter solstice upon us also bringing in the Jupiter/Saturn Conjunction which hasn't been this close since 1623 and won't be again until 2080, these winds of astrological change are opening up for us to truly have a breakthrough. Here's the deal breaker: If you don't let go of what's been holding you back, holding you down, and keeping you in a holding pattern, you won't be able to experience all the eureka moments waiting for you. This episode gets right to the point and really sets a clear path that you are only in control of one thing...YOU! Can't wait to hear what you think! www.kikismustards.com
What do Kiki's, Al Pacino and Matthew McConaughey have in common? Not much, you are correct but this weeks episode pulls life, business, football and two screen legends all together in what it mean to look closer to yourself to find the joy and let go of the pursuit of happiness to find your balance. Looking at a speech at the end of a film and a speech from Mr. McConaughey and tying the string together to let you know that you, yes you, deserve to exhale.

Giving you two sides of the coin in this chat, I cover how sitting in "wanting" only leads to unhappiness, but if you truly desire something you have to work to get it. Quick, to the point, and sure to change your perspective or at least get you thinking, "Stop Wanting What You Don't Have"brings you some tips on how to move forward to reach what you truly want and let go of the "wanting" that is holding you back.
This episode is going to shine the light in all the dark places you forgot you needed to connect to in yourself! Talking with Julianne Vaccaro, somatic sexologist, we uncover what it is about embodiment and how getting deeper into yourself opens doors throughout all aspects of your life. Julianne shares her journey into the world of somatic sexology and how all of her learning and education and trying to marry two different worlds of thought brought her to the space she is now in, guiding others to be open to healing and growing. within themselves. Covering so many topics from the need we all have to dig in and do the shadow work, acknowledging where shame comes into play in our sexuality, how the culture defines sex and how skewed that definition is from the reality of our experience, feminine and masculine polarities, how drama resides in our body and "the way you show up in the bedroom is the way you show up in life". This is one episode you may want a notebook for! You can find more about Julianne on instgram @juliannevaccaro
Episode 33 brings you one of my father's favorite lines, "So what, who cares". He tells me this all the time when I start going down the comparison train in my head and I knew it was something you all needed to hear too! Stop Keeping Up With The Joneses talks all about how our deep dive, mentally, in comparing ourselves, our goals, our desires, to the seeming success of those around us, leading us to think we can't even achieve our mark, is what takes us off course in the first place. Comparison comes from a deeper place than just the screen in your hand and I tackle where it grows from so you can weed that out of your mental garden! A quick episode to get your game face back on, to give your scrolling finger a break, and help to get you out of your head and back on track to reach the goals you seek!
I am on one in this episode. Inspired after watching "The Last Dance" on Netflix, so many lesson that I already knew came to light on the courts the Bulls traveled with Michale Jordan and the Reston the all-star line up. Taking pages out of the books of those magnetic athletes, I talk about how accepting who you are turns up the fire inside of you to truly accomplish anything you set you mind to. That what you do, in any facet of your life or business is never going to be enough for everyone but that your mindset makes your reality so outside forces don't decide your path or your success. And, after being personally fired up watching the drive and tenacity of those professionals, I discuss how any of the struggles we may have been through or may be experiencing right now can't hold us down, they must be fought through, learned from, and then left int he rear view and we excelled forward with the knowledge that the strengths that are innately within us already will be fostered in fire. I hope you walk away from this episode with a new found sense or worthiness and awareness that you are able to get to where you want to be!
Another Solo episode hitting big with "Who Are You Doing It For?" Looking at how our internal world, what we think, what we tell ourselves, and how that manifests into either positive outside, external experience or if it keeps us stuck doing things for everyone else except ourselves. Noting the importance of establishing boundaries and how they can help in our work life but also our personal life in actually speaking to what we need. Being able to truly take a look inside at what you what, need, desire, and how to stop self-sabotaging in order to get it, and manifest the external joy we seek is the guts of this episode! Dive in and let me know what you think!
Episode 30 is all about putting a mirror up and taking the time to honestly look at all you are, finding acceptance in your own negatives and positives and truly opening yourself up in order to not only connect with others but to allow yourself to be seen and in doing so, maybe seeing yourself for the first time without judgement. We have a knack at pushing away and avoiding the harder truths within us that need to be unpacked, tackled, and listened to in order to free ourselves from the burdens they bring into our daily lives. Today I hope to give you the permission you have been seeking to look at the tough stuff just beneath your surface, roll around with it, feel uncomfortable, so that you are able to move beyond it, healthily out it to rest and show you that so much more joy comes from opening up not only to others but to yourself. Hope you enjoy this solo episode. Be sure to share, like and leave your review!
In this episode I talk about the mental river we all tread when we only focus on the negative, be it in life, work or relationships, and how important it is to STOP WATERING DEAD PLANTS, or give energy to those things that no longer provide us joy. It takes work, effort and time but once you begin to not only acknowledge the places that are no longer worth tending to, it frees you upper some amazing opportunities. Listen in and let me know your thoughts or if you've ever seen the shift your life has taken when you start forcing your thoughts in a positive mindset on a daily basis.

The dupes dives into how their making of raw almond milk for themselves translated into their first business Rawmond Milk and then Meet The Source - An Unbakery which is dolling out some of the most delicious and sought after raw, allergy free, "baked" goods. Way too excited to stick to the script! Chatted all about my upcoming event on November 20th called "Get Out of Your Own Way~Motivate Beyond Stuck in Business & Life" at Electric City BakeHouse. Besides the awesome actionable steps you'll be filled up and refreshed to leave with, I will be talking about my 3 Steps To Progress. In this episode I talked about step 1, Perfection is a Lie. That we need to be courageous enough to know that our progress through self-doubt, through pain, and resistance is the perfection and that perfection in and of itself is a non-existent entity. If I could hug you through an episode this would be one of them!
In this episode, I share with you my new motto of living in Radical Worthiness. It took me some time to find my way here but once I removed the roadblocks, recognizing that feelings of worth, or lack thereof, were holding myself and my business back, I dove in and the rest has been incredible. Hoping for you to take away actionable steps to incorporate this mindset into your daily life, business, and relationship!
In this episode, well it could have gone on for two more hours chatting with Sara Weinreb about all things sustainable living. Sara is a freelance writer, strategist, and facilitator for businesses focused on social and environmental change. "I care deeply about wellness, stress reduction, mindful and sustainable living, and supporting my community with their physical wellbeing and the wellbeing of their businesses." With such a wealth of knowledge to share and our time limited we covered "Fast Fashion" and how giants in the quick turnover world are making more clothes than can actually be sold and how making a choice in your wardrobe can have positive effects in how things are made. Diving into the food world, we discussed greenwashing along with how to better spot what is healthier to snack on. Being extremely open Sara shared about how her chronic cancer diagnosis a few year back shifted her mindset and lead her to learn more about adaptogens and how to better set her internal self up for healing. A real pleasure getting to soak up so much from this woman this week. Enjoy!
