Public schools keep adding more administrators while student performance stagnates—and teachers see little benefit. In this episode of Disunion: The Government Union Report, host David Osborne sits down with Corey DeAngelis and Christos Makridis to unpack their research on how teachers unions drive administrative growth at the expense of classrooms.Corey and Christos explain why student enrollment has stayed flat while administrative staff has ballooned nearly 95% since 2000, how union incentives fuel this growth, and why teacher salaries have barely budged in decades. They also discuss the impact of right-to-work laws, the fallout from the Supreme Court's Janus decision, and the role of school choice and teacher freedom in breaking the cycle of waste and misaligned priorities. From tire-slashing intimidation tactics to billion-dollar funding battles, this conversation reveals the true cost of union power—and what it will take to put students and teachers first.

Creatine Without the Bloat: Con-Cret's Founder on HCL vs. MonohydrateClick On My Website Below To Schedule A Free 15 Min Zoom Call:www.Over40FitnessHacks.comOver 40 Fitness Hacks SKOOL Group!Get Your Whoop4.0 Here!Mark Faulkner - Con-Cret SupplementsSocial Media: @concret_creatinewww.Con-Cret.comBrad opened by sharing your personal experience with creatine monohydrate — its benefits for strength and endurance, but also the downside of bloating and water retention that kept you from using it consistently. Mark clarified that “HCL” vs. “hcl” is just a marketing capitalization difference and explained that creatine hydrochloride (HCL) can offer the same benefits with fewer side effects due to its superior bioavailability.Mark shared his science-heavy background (physics, biochemistry, toxicology) and his experience co-founding a forensic toxicology lab. His team built the NFL's steroid testing program, which sparked his interest in safe, legal performance enhancers. After selling the lab, he partnered with sports medicine researchers to find steroid alternatives that could help athletes recover and maintain strength safely. This search led to creatine HCL, which showed strong results for strength, endurance, and recovery without the typical side effects of monohydrate.Bioavailability & Efficiency: Creatine HCL is more easily absorbed due to its chemical structure and compatibility with stomach acid (HCL), allowing smaller doses to deliver more creatine to muscle, brain, and immune cells.Side Effects: Princeton research shows over 50% of men and 75% of women experience bloating and GI distress with monohydrate, which is largely avoided with HCL.Performance Benefits: Faster recovery, increased training capacity, and leaner muscle gains compared to monohydrate.Mark emphasized that creatine supports all cells — not just muscles:Brain health & cognition: Supports energy for thinking and memory.Immune system: T-cells upregulate creatine receptors before attacking pathogens or abnormal cells (e.g., cancer), so adequate creatine helps them “win the fight.”Disease prevention & longevity: The CDC is investigating low creatine levels as a factor in rising chronic disease rates.Mark provided a three-tier approach:Daily Health: 750 mg per day for most people.Exercise / Biohacking: 750 mg per 100 lbs of body weight 30–60 minutes pre-workout (double up on very strenuous days).Medical/Disease States: Higher doses (up to 4–6 g daily) split into multiple servings. He also noted that creatine should be taken daily with no need to cycle off, and extra doses can help with fatigue, poor sleep, or jet lag.Mark stressed that over 90% of creatine is made in China, and quality can vary dramatically. Con-Cret is the only U.S.-made creatine, manufactured in an NSF-certified facility in Nebraska, ensuring purity and safety for athletes who undergo drug testing. Con-Cret holds multiple patents for its creatine HCL technology, further setting it apart. If you're interested in online personal training or being a guest on my podcast, "Over 40 Fitness Hacks," you can reach me at brad@over40fitnesshacks.com or visit my website at:www.Over40FitnessHacks.comAdditionally, check out my Yelp reviews for my local business, Evolve Gym in Huntington Beach, at https://bit.ly/3GCKRzV

We begin today by focusing on the creeping cancel culture growing on the right. I'm not necessarily against retaliating against what Democrats did under their control, but we should not be using government actors to work with private organizations to cancel people for hate speech, much less pursue criminal penalties. Instead, we should be focused on targeting left-wing terrorism and building ordered liberty in red states. To that end, we're joined by Blaise Ingoglia, chief financial officer of Florida, for a discussion about his war against property taxes and blue-city spending that is fueling them. He describes how homeowners are getting priced out of their homes to fund the doubling of local government budgets that often fund woke causes. Cutting property taxes and reining in blue-city spending will serve as the foundation for creating ideal red-state living. Florida is leading the way. We also discuss the cause and solution of the housing crisis and how we need to reverse-engineer the federal government's intervention in creating the housing bubble and "renter nation," rather than throwing more money at the problem. Almost everyone can look at the education landscape in America today and see that something has gone very, very wrong. Spending per student has increased, and there is no evidence that this increased spending has improved student performance outcomes. But what if there are factors eating up the budget and keeping the student performance outcomes stagnant? Factors such as the rise of teachers unions in non-right-to-work states, for example?Joining us today is Corey DeAngelis, a school choice evangelist who is a senior fellow at the American Culture Project, to discuss a recently released report he helped author that looks at just that, the administrative bloat in the public school system and how it correlates to increased teacher union influence. Also joining is CRC colleague Mike Watson, our regular host and resident labor union expert. Corey A. DeAngelis is a senior fellow at the American Culture Project. He has been labeled the “school choice evangelist” and called “the most effective school choice advocate since Milton Friedman.” He is a regular on Fox News and frequently appears in The Wall Street Journal. DeAngelis is also the executive director at Educational Freedom Institute, a senior fellow at Reason Foundation, an adjunct scholar at Cato Institute, a board member at Liberty Justice Center, and a senior advisor at Accuracy in Media. In this episode, I'm walking you through the exact moment I realized — I was doing all the right things and still staying stuck. The stress. The bloat. The midsection that wouldn't tighten up. I was hitting that 3PM crash, skipping meals, and thinking bone broth counted as food (it doesn't).But when I let Hotmomz AI read my nervous system and tell me what to actually do? My HRV jumped from 40 to 90 in one hour. My body felt safe. I lost water retention overnight. Plus a breakdown of the Bezos dollars being invested to cut methane emissions of Livestock, and lots more on this all new episode of The Ranch It Up Radio Show. Be sure to subscribe on your favorite podcasting app or on the Ranch It Up Radio Show YouTube Channel. Season 5, EPISODE 240 Farmatan Used To Manage Bloat Cattle producers have experienced reductions in bloats and death loss using Farmatan liquid and powder. A peer reviewed study found 81% fewer days of bloat and 17% ADG of heifers grazing winter wheat. Jeff Bezos Invests Millions to Cut Methane Emissions from Livestock Billionaire Jeff Bezos, founder of Amazon and one of the world's wealthiest individuals with a net worth exceeding $190 billion, is turning his attention to livestock production. Through the Bezos Earth Fund, a $10 billion climate-focused initiative he launched in 2020, Bezos is investing in projects designed to reduce methane emissions from cattle. Bezos Earth Fund Targets Methane Emissions in Cattle Ranching, farming, and the Western lifestyle are at the heart of everything we do. Tigger & BEC bring you exclusive insights from the world of working ranches, cattle farming, and sustainable beef production. Methane is over 80 times more potent than carbon dioxide over a 20-year period, according to climate scientists. To address this, Bezos and the Global Methane Hub have jointly launched a $27.4 million initiative aimed at breeding low-methane-emitting cattle and developing technologies to curb livestock emissions globally. This groundbreaking initiative includes: $8.7 million for low-emission dairy breeding in Holstein, Jersey, Brown Swiss, and Red breeds, led by Wageningen University in the Netherlands. $4.85 million to the Angus Foundation (Saint Joseph, MO) to integrate low-methane traits into beef cattle breeding programs across North America, Oceania, and Europe. $3.35 million to support methane-efficient breeding in Indigenous African cattle populations. $2.34 million to the University of Nebraska to research methane reduction in commercial and crossbred beef cattle herds. $8.1 million toward research at universities in Uruguay and Australia and for rumen microbiome analysis. A Powerful Push to Transform Livestock Emissions Bezos is not working alone. The Global Methane Hub, launched in 2022 in support of the Global Methane Pledge from COP26, brings together powerful partners including the IKEA Foundation, Inter-American Development Bank, and major NGOs. With deep funding and global reach, the coalition is pushing for fast, scalable solutions in agriculture. On this episode of the podcast Wisconsin Congressman Glenn Grothman discussed the passage of President Trump's endorsed legislation a.k.a, “The One, Big, Beautiful Bill.” The Wisconsin Republican emphasized the bill's focus on middle and lower-class Americans, including no tax on tips or overtime for hourly workers. He highlighted the need for competitive business tax cuts to boost American manufacturing. Rep. Grothman noted potential Senate watering down of welfare provisions, such as Medicaid and Pell Grants. He praised the bill's deduction for seniors and young couples, but criticized the state and local tax deduction for encouraging higher state taxes. Furthermore, Grothman stressed the importance of securing the border, expelling illegal immigrants and preventing human trafficking, criticizing the Biden Administration's policies.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

To support muscle growth in menopause, you need to understand the critical role of liver health. If you're struggling with muscle loss and fat gain, your liver is an essential player in the game. Stick with me as we uncover actionable strategies for boosting liver health and achieving muscle growth in menopause and beyond during this moment in time post pandemic. My Guest: Sara Banta is a certified Dietary Supplement Professional, member of the National Association of Nutritional Professionals, and founder of Accelerated Health Products, recognized as the Most Innovative Supplement Company. Sara pioneers innovative solutions to support holistic well-being. She empowers others to achieve optimal health through supplements, DNA-based nutrition, and lifestyle changes. Questions We Answer in This Episode: [00:10:53] How is the liver related to muscle growth in menopause? [00:20:31] How can certain proteins help you reach fitness goals, while others may actually get in the way? [00:22:53] Why are essential amino acids crucial for supporting muscle building? [00:31:21] How can you take care of your liver to help with muscle gain and fat loss? [00:40:20] What are the side effects of GLP-1? [00:42:50] What are safe alternatives to ozempic? Liver Health's Role in Menopausal Muscle Growth Roles: detox, bile production, hormone regulation, protein metabolism. Chemicals and toxins overload the liver, impairing fat and protein processing. Protein Intake Challenges & Solutions Protein intake alone isn't enough without liver support. Women need more protein with age, not less - 1g protein per pound of body weight. Wild animal protein, like bison and venison, are most nutrient dense. Warning against mold and hidden toxins in common protein powders. Essential Amino Acid Supplements Key ingredients: HMB, Synactive, OKG, TMG - aimed at absorption and recovery Benefits: prevent muscle breakdown, enhance gut health, better protein absorption. Key Takeaways for Muscle Growth in Menopause: Liver function is foundational for hormone balance, energy, and muscle development during and after menopause. Most women are under-consuming quality protein and not absorbing it effectively due to liver or gut issues. Supplements can be powerful, but they must be clean, effective, and well-formulated—many aren't. Shift your mindset: It's not about shrinking your body but about strengthening it with muscle. Bloat, brain fog, fatigue, and poor recovery may all link back to impaired liver detox and insufficient amino acids. Whole, wild animal proteins are superior due to nutrient density and bioavailability. Connect with Sara: Get your Accelerated Health Products - Liver Care & Aminos here!
