The day starts with a drag brunch at Lips before everyone rushes off for the Alter Ego Party. Luann is fully embracing her Countess persona, while Vicki reveals that her alter ego is Jackie O and recounts the infamous van ride home from the White Party, where she apparently wanted everyone to participate in the “quiet game.” Meanwhile, Lisa and Teresa are thrilled by how much fun they've been having together, with Teresa calling their friendship a “breath of fresh air.” Then comes the big surprise: NeNe Leakes arrives at the drag brunch, and the energy immediately changes. The ladies reminisce about classic Atlanta moments, from “Who gon' check me, boo?” to “Close your legs to married men,” before the drag queens take the stage and impersonate the Housewives.NeNe's return is easily the emotional highlight of the episode. Everyone is thrilled to see her, especially Luann, who gets visibly emotional about their friendship. NeNe admits she was nervous about coming back and talks about how strange it felt to leave Housewives behind, initially feeling relieved before eventually realizing that she missed being part of it. The conversation takes a more serious turn as NeNe opens up about Gregg's death and the memories they shared with Kyle and Mauricio, leading to some genuinely touching moments. NeNe also reveals that she has been dating Nyoni on and off for four years, although she has no desire to get married again. She wants to be treated like a wife without necessarily becoming one, and once Nyoni arrives, Vicki is suddenly VERY interested. The ladies then head off to get ready for the Alter Ego Party, with costumes ranging from Teresa as the Queen of Jersey and Gizelle as Diana Ross to Vicki's Jackie O and Porsha's Stepford Wife/Lucy-inspired look.The party brings plenty of unfinished business, particularly when Kyle confronts Ashley about her history with Mauricio. Kyle makes it clear that, regardless of the circumstances, she believes there are certain boundaries you don't cross within the Housewives sisterhood, especially while she and Mauricio are still technically married. Ashley offers her side of the story and even manages to throw Stacy under the bus in the process, but ultimately Kyle and Ashley seem to move forward. Meanwhile, the Salt Lake City contingent brings its own drama, with Gizelle filling Heather and Angie K in on her issues with Whitney and Bronwyn, while Heather remains suspicious of Lisa. Heather eventually approaches Lisa to clear the air, but based on the conversation, it seems Heather may have made the entire situation much bigger than it actually was. Kyle is still wrestling with how she and Mo's relationship got to this point, while Mo arrives late—and commits the ultimate White Party offense by wearing a beige blazer. Porsha brings plenty of comic relief, telling Gizelle that she “brought the pepper” to the sea of white people, while Teresa's questionable white dress has us wondering if she's doing any favors for the Garden State. Meanwhile, the Salt Lake City women are keeping their distance, and Gizelle immediately senses an opportunity to investigate the tension between Lisa, Meredith, Whitney and Bronwyn.The biggest entertainment of the night comes courtesy of Luann, who celebrates the 20th anniversary of RHOBH with an absolutely wild performance involving a zipline and a very questionable contraption. Today with Michael Barbarita: You already know the feeling. You glance at the checkbook, you see a number that looks okay, and you decide that's good enough. You don't open QuickBooks. You don't look at your gross profit percent. Some part of you is afraid that if you actually looked, you might not like what you'd find. Michael Barbarita has spent thirty years inside businesses just like yours, first as an owner himself, growing a retail company called Ski Town USA from two and a half million dollars to eight million in under five years, and now as a fractional CFO through his company, Next Step CFO, working mostly with owners in the trades. He told LuAnn something simple that changes how you think about your numbers for good: the time to look is when it's cloudy, not when it's raining. Michael doesn't ask his clients to become accountants. He gives them five numbers, what he calls the vital five, and a rhythm for checking them. Sales, gross profit, gross profit percent, and net profit get pulled from your weekly P&L, and for most owners, that report is already sitting in your accounting software waiting to be opened. Cash is the one exception. That number gets checked every single day, because cash is what can sink you fastest, and it's the one number you can't afford to only glance at once a week. LuAnn connects Michael's framework directly to something she and her husband Vin have pushed Exciting Windows members toward for years, a fifty five to sixty percent gross profit margin. Once you're actually watching your gross profit percent every week, you have a real answer to whether you're anywhere close to that target, instead of a guess. The conversation goes further into why so many business owners let their accounts receivable slide, and Michael's five components of what he calls a compelling offer, the framework he uses with clients to get them out of competing on price. LuAnn ties it back to something she's said for years, that you have to sell the transformation your work creates, not the blind, the shade, or the drape itself. The episode you are going to hear today was over a decade in the making. LuAnn Niagara is the host of A Well Designed Business. The podcast launched in 2016 and set the standard for what a business of design podcast should be. LuAnn's focus was then and is today focused on helping designers up level their design studios. LuAnn was hosting a session for the KBIS Podcast Studio and we had some time during the show and I can't remember who brought up the idea, I think it was me who suggested to LuAnn, that this would be a great time for us to record a conversation about our own journey and collaborate on a crossover episode. If you are a designer, architect, maker, you know what I mean. She created something from nothing and every one of us here knows how hard that is.  In setting up this interview, I want to provide both context and a bit of storytelling. You are going to hear four very brief clips before we get to my conversation with LuAnn. It's been a while since I shared this on the show, but in addition to my broadcast experience in music and sports, I was the general manager and program director for Playboy Radio. In that role, I hosted a show on the channel called the Playboy Radio Interview. She show was a one on one with guests that I thought would resonate by telling unique and personal stories about their journey. And what I want you to realize as you listen to these is that we all go through many of the same things, experience the same challenges and nobody in life achieves anything without a little luck and support. That support can come from family and friends, it can come from a trusted advisor and it can come in the form of hearing stories about others told by industry voices, like LuAnn or me. The first clip you are going to hear is US Mens National Hockey legend, Mike Eruzioni. You would up where you are due to a series of circumstances that aren't always within your control. Guess what, nobody is. It's what you do next and how you need to keep going because you never know where that big opportunity os going to come from. The next segment you are going to hear is actor, Tom Sizemore. Sizemore has since past but he still has lessons to share. I'm not going to set this clip up too much because I think it speaks for itself. The concept is “challenge” and the friends and supporters who help us along the way. It doesn't get more real or powerful than that. Next up is George Lopez. He and I were speaking about community. That of the musicians playing the upcoming Playboy Jazz Festival and how creatives like musicians and comics help each other along the way. I share this with the hope that our industry continues to help each other in an ever chaotic and complicated world.  The final clip is legendary. It's Henry Winkler on going with his instincts. Imagine when Henry Winkler was on set, day one, starting off as Arther Fonzerelli he was looking at TikTok and became influenced by what the trends were instead of being himself, going with his gut and trusting his authentic intuition?
