A few movies got released in 2021, but few have resonated with people as strongly as the Nic Cage starring Pig, directed by Michael Sarnoski. A critical darling from the jump and the performance that Nic Cage claims is his "favorite", Pig is somehow still criminally underseen. The boys dive deep on restaurant films/television, whether Sarnoski making a franchise film after Pig was the right move, and whether Ted Beneke is all that good of an actor. The film really never rose to prominence or critical acclaim on release but to people who appreciate the flick it offers a totally unique take on a slasher film.
