Welcome to the Peaceful Power Project, a podcast dedicated to physical, mental, and spiritual health and well-being. Join us for mindfulness practices, inspiring interviews, and solo episodes that help you find peace, power, and presence. I invite you to take a deep breath and let's begin! Here is my first episode back from a break. This was challenging, however, a perfect opportunity to share about releasing perfectionism, softening our definitions around standards we hold for ourselves and taking the first step! You can also view to this episode on YouTube: https://youtu.be/ixkHXPErFcs Poem from episode: The first step begins by taking the first step. That small step may feel like moving mountains. You will shuffle along for a bit, even stumble, trip, fall. You will get lost but I promise you will find your Self again. Always. And at times you will float, you will fly. You will be light, be easy, just be. It's a journey to change, to transform whether your goal be seemingly small or insurmountable. But the first step is always taking the first step.

In this solo episode, we explore Perfection! Please share any takeaways with me by emailing: sarah@sarahgranatocoaching.com Poem from the episode: Perfect They say… nobody is perfect and at least part of that is true. This idea of flawless, pristine in every way will never be me or you. We are light and dark and all shades in between both strong and weak up and down even kind and mean. So this picture of perfection is one we will never touch because where would we go when we get there? Would it be enough or too much? But… Here's another way to see it if you open your heart and mind. Look at your self just as you are and this is what you will find Scars and spots wrinkles and folds struggles survived and stories told. Light and dark, all shades in between all the colors of the rainbow too We are as perfect as can be. We: me and you.
