When life feels uncertain or turbulent, peace is still available to you. In this episode, we explore how accepting what is happening, rather than resisting it, can become the first step toward changing your inner state. We talk about cultivating curiosity as a gentle way to soften difficult experiences, reconnect with yourself, and discover the wisdom that every challenge has to offer. We also reflect upon the power of gratitude and the understanding that life's experiences are happening for us, not against us. By becoming mindful of the stories we tell ourselves and asking simple yet powerful questions such as, "Is this true?" and "What can I do about it?", we create space for greater clarity, resilience, and inner peace. This conversation is an invitation to find steadiness within yourself, no matter what is unfolding around you.Have you joined our Facebook Group yet? Returning to calm does not require you to abandon yourself. In this episode, we explore the importance of releasing the need for external approval when it comes at the expense of your own well-being. We talk about creating and honouring healthy boundaries that protect your inner peace, while remembering that saying no does not necessarily mean never. Sometimes it simply means not right now.We also discuss the value of getting clear on what you truly want, cultivating curiosity, humour, and play, and learning to flow with the natural cycles of life rather than resisting them. This conversation is a reminder that you do not need to see the entire path ahead to move forward. By trusting yourself and taking one aligned step at a time, you can navigate life with greater grace, ease, and inner calm.Have you joined our Facebook Group yet? I recently made a massive investment in myself—dropping $9,000 for three months of coaching with mindset and lifestyle coach Cru Mahoney—and today I am pulling back the curtain to share exactly what I learned with you for free. We unpack why I felt stuck despite early retirement, the danger of outsourcing authority over your own life, and the power of radical self-respect. Comparison has a way of quietly stealing our joy. In this episode, we explore how easy it is to fall into the habit of measuring ourselves against others without even realizing it. Whether we perceive ourselves as being ahead or behind, comparison can disconnect us from our own unique path and leave us feeling less than. We talk about the importance of recognizing these patterns and gently bringing ourselves back to our own truth. We also discuss the power of curiosity, self-awareness, and self-trust as tools for breaking free from comparison. Having a supportive inner circle can make a tremendous difference, and it is equally important to remember that we have the right to consciously choose who we allow into that circle. This conversation is an invitation to honour your own journey, trust your timing, and remember that everything changes when you stop comparing and start embracing who you truly are.Have you joined our Facebook Group yet? Send us Fan MailWhat happens when your business, motherhood, and responsibilities continue to grow… but your inner capacity feels stretched thin?In this deeply honest and powerful conversation, I welcome mindset and entrepreneur coach Coach Clem to The Good Enough Mompreneur Podcast to talk about the hidden emotional weight so many women silently carry while trying to “hold it all together.”Coach Clem, a UK-based mindset coach originally from France, has supported hundreds of women — many of them mompreneurs — through growth, transition, burnout, overwhelm, and the internal pressure that often goes unseen. Together, Angela and Clem explore the importance of inner stability, why awareness alone isn't enough to create change, and how many of the behaviors we label as “self-sabotage” are actually intelligent protection patterns formed over time. This conversation is a reminder that you do not have to build your business from survival mode — and that sustainable success begins within. In this episode, we discuss: Why ambitious women often feel overwhelmed even when life looks successful  The invisible expectations placed on moms and entrepreneurs  How social media fuels the “not enough” feeling  Reframing self-sabotage as intelligent protection  The connection between perfectionism, people pleasing, and burnout  The three life seasons: growth, realignment, and survival  Why awareness alone doesn't create lasting transformation  How to begin building inner stability in everyday life  The importance of alignment in motherhood, business, and personal growth  Why this inner work matters not just for us — but for our children, too Memorable Moments from the Episode:✨ “You do not have to prove your worth through exhaustion.”✨ “A strength taken too far can become self-sabotage.”✨ “You can build success from alignment instead of survival mode.”✨ “Inner stability is not a luxury — it's a foundation.”Connect with Coach Clem:

Storytelling Strategies that Foster Connection with Sarah Elkins SHOW SUMMARY: What if your stories don't define you… but the way you tell them will? This week on Look for the Good, airing Monday, May 11, 2026, I'm diving into one of my favorite topics—stories—with storytelling and public speaking coach Sarah Elkins—whose powerful TEDx talk is helping people rethink how we share and listen to personal stories in order to find more common ground and build connection to each other one story at a time. And trust me, this conversation goes way deeper than you think.  Because here's the truth: It's not just what happened to you… it's how you've been telling it—on repeat—that's shaping your life right now. Sarah has an incredible ability to understand people quickly and deeply—often picking up on patterns others miss. Using a blend of intuition and a powerful personal discovery tool, she helps uncover strengths and insights with striking accuracy. And yes… there's a wild story involving Edgar Allan Poe's birthday that will have you looking at intuition—and maybe even your next business meeting—a little differently. In this episode, we get into: The hidden stories running the show behind the scenes How to spot your actual superpowers (not the ones you think you “should” have) Why your storytelling style might be the thing keeping you stuck And the moment Sarah said yes to go-go boots and joined a surf band at 40 This episode might make you laugh, raise an eyebrow, and then stop you in your tracks with one big question: Is the story you're telling working for you… or against you? So go ahead—strap on your go-go boots and come hang with us. Because your next chapter? It starts with how you tell it. Tune in Monday at 5am & 5pm EST: https://dreamvisions7radio.com/look-for-the-good/ BIO:"We got immediate positive feedback and there was a buzz in the room from the lightbulbs going off in people's heads." In this episode, Andy Robinson, owner and lead consultant at LFG Mindset Consulting, joins Kristi Skutvik to share the story behind his mindset coaching practice. Andy grew up in a military town in New Jersey and knew from the age of 15 that he wanted to be a Marine. After joining the Marine Corps and deploying twice to Iraq, his second deployment in 2006 ended when his truck was hit by a roadside bomb. Three Marines in the vehicle died that day. Andy survived but broke his neck, ribs, and legs and spent seven months in the hospital. At 23, everything he associated with his identity was gone. Rather than building his future around his limitations, Andy chose to focus on what he wanted his life to look like. He surrounded himself with other veterans who had chosen differently, learned to drive, went to college, started a family, and eventually landed a job in capital markets with no finance background, cold calling Fortune 500 CFOs and treasurers at companies like Amazon, Ford, and Coca-Cola. When he realized his fulfillment was no longer in finance, he discovered mindset coaching and recognized he had been living its principles for years without knowing the language. Now he helps people step into the next version of themselves by reprogramming their self-image, rewriting the stories they tell themselves, and building a vision for the life they actually want. Learn more about Skutvik Consulting Follow PeopleForward Network on LinkedIn Learn more about PeopleForward Network Key Takeaways: Everything in your life is a reflection of the self-image you once held, change the image and the results follow Your subconscious only operates in the present tense, so the language you use about your goals and circumstances directly shapes what you experience The people you surround yourself with influence the choices you make, seek out those who are living the kind of life you want Start reprogramming your mindset with a blank notebook: write about the life you want as if it is already happening, based purely on desire rather than current circumstances Busy is a choice, not a badge of honor, there are people just as successful who are not busy, because they have trained themselves to think differently about time and priorities
