These and many more you would find out from this episode and how she finally saw the light at the end of the tunnel after many years of pain and sufferings, that drugs could not take away but only numb it for a short period of time.Happy listening. And if you have been affected by any of the issues on this podcast episode kindly contact me : Instagram: @scarredbutnotdamaged oremail me : scarrednotdamaged@gmail.comConnect with Charlene @https://instagram.com/charlene_anne_madden?utm_medium=copy_linkScarred But Not Damaged Podcast can be found on major podcast platforms lick Apple podcast, Spotify, Amazon music , Podcast Addict, Podchaser, Casts, Deezer, Listen Notes etc
Hello Beautiful Souls!I shared how my mind played a significant role when I was in a dark place in my life.I felt all alone and felt I was the only one going through what I was going through. Coming from a culture where people are secretive about their personal struggles made me believe my issues were unique to me. If only I could relate with one or two stories that were related I bet I would never have wallowed in pain and self pity, but guess what everybody seem to be faking to be fine .That took its toll on my emotional wellbeing at the time. For as long as I stayed in the place the battle in my mind was real and alive. I was there for years......( Yes years!!)After many major life events that occurred in my life and things got worse, I eventually got to a place where I had a shift in my mind as the quest for knowledge led me to my journey of freedom and transformation. These and many more was shared on this podcast. If you were affected by this podcast kindly contact me on Instagram @Scarredbutnotdamaged Thank you for listening.

Domestic abuse is defined as any incident of controlling, coercive, or threatening behaviour, violence against another person in an intimate relationship or family members regardless of their gender or sexuality.
Welcome to the Scarred But Not Damaged podcast . I'm your host Undainte N. I'll be giving you the inside scoop on Scarred But Not Damaged. I am a survivor of domestic abuse. I was in an abusive relationship for a long time and at that time I did not know it was abuse because it was not physical. I was in a controlling relationship that stripped me of my self worth, dignity, value, I almost lost my mind and I lost my identity which is the worst state for any one to be in. I lost the essence of living due to the constant emotional and verbal abuse.I started this podcast to help and support women that are going through abuse and emotional pain and trauma because a lot of times nobody sees the emotional abuse and a lot of people do not understand abuse. I never had any support during and after my abuse hence I would like to be a support system and create a haven for such women, where they can speak and be listened to and be heard and feel safe. And to provide support and help in their journey to recovery.
