Well, would you look at that... It's another podcast.
Hi... we're back!
Another week, another big old review podcast! This time, leading the big reviews for the podcast, we dived into John Krasinski's A Quiet Place: Part II, each giving out own personal opinion on whether we think this sequel was needed, worthy of the first film and discussing some of the clear patterns and influences of the franchise so far. Following this, it's been a couple of weeks since we had something MCU related to talk about but, luckily, Marvel have graced us with yet another series for Disney+ in Loki, so you know what that means - an episode one review! How does this match up to the previous shows? What do we think this means for the bigger picture in the MCU? We answer all this and more in another episode of the Spacemen From Pluto Podcast!
Time once more for another podcast and we've got another review filled week! As our big topic this week, we all went and watched Zack Snyder's newest zombie romp, Army Of The Dead and have a spoiler filled lowdown on whether the film is worth it or not. Also on the table is another Netflix Original in Bo Burnham's new comedy special, Inside, and a couple of us also might have put ourselves through the Friends Reunion and have a few words to say on whether it's worth you also going through it. As you can see we have all that and more in another stacked episode of The Spacemen From Pluto Podcast!
Just as we promised last week, we're donning our tinfoil hats and delving into the world of spacecrafts and aliens as we discuss the fact that the UFOs are real and use that as an excuse to discuss our favourite space and alien films going from beautifully shot space sequences to all things Duchovny.
It's time for another helping of the Spacemen From Pluto Podcast and you may have noticed that our uploading has become a bit more sporadic as of late. That's because we're back at work in the cinema! That's right, cinema's are open and we're here to give you the lowdown on what's out and why we're excited to be back enjoying films on the big screen. Speaking of the big screen, we're also here to give you the scoop on the ninth film to enter the SAW franchise, Spiral: From The Book Of SAW! Is it worth the watch? All that and more in this episode of the Spacemen From Pluto Podcast!
Well, it was a good couple of weeks of extended podcasts but it's now right back to the basics and, after a brief tangent on the topic last week, we realised that we have way more to say on the topic of Pixar movies, so join us now for an in-depth dive into everything Pixar with each of us discussing Disney, our personal favourite Pixar films, the underrated, the overrated, and if we think Pixar might have lost its spark when it comes to story telling. All that and MORE in another helping of The Spacemen From Pluto Podcast!
Well, another week, another absolutely stacked podcast full of content for you to consume. As a start, following on from last week's podcast, we took a deeper dive into some of the Oscar films this week with a particular focus on Promising Young Woman, Ma Rainey's Black Bottom and Soul. On top of this, we explore not one but two season finales, first into Robert Kirkman's animated superhero romp Invincible and then into the BBC's gritty, intelligent police drama Line Of Duty. Finally, we close off the show with a jump into all things Disney, throwing ourselves headfirst into the beginning of the new Disney+ Star Wars show, The Bad Batch, and then wading through the mass of titles dropped in the latest MCU trailer. What an absolute bumper episode we have for you to enjoy today! So join us once again for another bumper episode of the Spacemen From Pluto Podcast!

Starting off, it's been just under a week since the Oscars and we have our opinions and hot takes on the best films and who should have been the recipient of which award. Next, it's been just over a week since the big finale of The Falcon And The Winter Soldier on Disney+ and we take the time to reflect, discuss the good and the bad and have some bragging time about whether we were correct about our theories. Then, for our big bumper finish, we finally got to watch the new Mortal Kombat film and we had plenty to say about it. So strap yourselves in and prepare for a deep dive into the previous week of cinema with The Spacemen From Pluto! Oscars - 0:01:50 The Falcon And The Winter Soldier - 1:05:07 Mortal Kombat - 1:20:18

So join us for this absolutely packed episode!
Podcast time! And you know what that means? It means it's time for the four of us and discuss the week in film and TV!This week, we get back into the monster groove and discuss our views and opinions on Godzilla Vs Kong now that the film is out and we've witnessed this epic Titan fight. Okay, so you've no doubt noticed that we've been talking about Snyder a lot recently and you might be getting bored of it, but that doesn't mean we are going to apologise or stop! That's right, it's time for us to delve back into the nitty gritty of the Snyder Cut and, after giving Dan the time to air his opinions on the extended superhero romp, we take a deeper look into the good and bad of fan pressure, how fan culture has affected major decisions in filmmaking, how streaming has affected all this and what films we would like to see alternative versions of knowing that there are different cuts out there somewhere! All that and more explored in this week's helping of the Spacemen From Pluto Podcast!
That's right, it's time once again to sit down and discuss everything film and TV from the past 7 days. This week, we sit down and, with our recent Timeless or Trash viewing of Batman V Superman and the upcoming release of Godzilla Vs Kong, we decided to take a look across television and cinemas greatest rivalries and fight scenes and see which rivalries stand the test of time, and maybe look at a few others that were finished in a single fight. However, as an introduction to this week's podcast, we took a look at the recently announced nominations for the 2021 Oscars ceremony and discussed what we think, who we think might win and if we feel there are any snubs. All that and more in this week's helping of The Spacemen From Pluto Podcast!
Back again for another podcast and, this time, in honour of the recent release of our Timeless or Trash on Zack Snyder's wonderfully accurate historical epic, 300, we decided to open up the vaults and look back at some of our other personal favourite films that were based on true events. So join us once again as we discuss the good, bad, and ridiculous from the world of true story cinema and absolutely positively don't go off on any tangents like usual...Also, stick around until the end of the podcast as we bring back What We've Been Watching due to the huge fan demand, but under the new banner of What We'd Recommend. Time for another weekly helping of The Spacemen From Pluto Podcast and, in honour of our fabulous Timeless or Trash video on Norbit (which is the only time you'll ever see "fabulous" and "Norbit" in the same sentence), we decided to take a gander at some of the films and TV shows that might have destroyed an actor's career. This might be that the actor was in something so good that they've never lived up to that again, in something so bad that they've had to retreat into obscurity, or a blip on an actor's otherwise perfect record of films. So, join us once more as we look across films and shows of all different genres and discuss actors from a multitude of backgrounds in this week's exciting Spacemen From Pluto Podcast!
It's that time again and we take another delve into the weeks news for a chill discussion. What's the news on Disney+? Is Star a valuable addition to the platform? What's Ari Aster working on? Do we think he's a good director? Has Dan seen the Mortal Kombat trailer? Do we think it'll be good? Do we think videogame films will be the death of the superhero genre? Does Dan remember Dogan from LOST? What's David Fincher up to? Do any of you watching actually care? All these questions and more answered in the latest helping of The Spacemen From Pluto Podcast!
This week on The Spacemen From Pluto Podcast, we were thinking about the recent news and concerning Gina Carano and her forced exit from the Mandalorian and wondered to ourselves who would take over as Cara Dune from now on? That led us to this week's main topic - Has there been any cases where characters have been recast for the better? Also this week, intrigued by the announcement of the Face/Off sequel, the hypothetical was 'which two actors would you pit against one another in a Face/Off situation?' So join us for another exciting episode of The Spacemen From Pluto Podcast!
Another week, another Spacemen From Pluto podcast, but this time with a more relaxed format. Night venture, Old. So join us once again for this and more on this week's Spacemen From Pluto Podcast!
We were hoping for a better time in 2021 but, unfortunately, the trauma of 2020 has lingered. This, along with Dan's sheer, unmatched genius, was the inspiration for this week's subject. So join us once more for this monstrous episode of the Spacemen From Pluto Podcast!
