The world's first and only NBA podcast, probably.
The Spread the Floor Podcast is a must-listen for any NBA fan, and I say that as a diehard fan myself. As someone who loves the game and follows it closely, this podcast provides extensive coverage that is hard to find elsewhere. Being a fan of the Dallas Mavericks, it's especially great to have a podcast that covers my team extensively and shares in my frustrations. But even if you're not a Mavericks fan or share in their dislike for the Houston Rockets, there is still plenty of valuable content for all NBA fans.
The best aspect of this podcast is the excellent analysis provided by Brian and Tobin. They have great chemistry and their insights into the game are top-notch. They provide thought-provoking analysis on various aspects of the NBA, from players to teams to news and rumors. It's refreshing to listen to hosts who are knowledgeable about the sport but also relatable and down-to-earth. They create a chill listening vibe that feels like you're just hanging out with friends talking basketball.
One minor complaint I have about the podcast is Tobin's pronunciation of "especially". He tends to say "expecially" instead, which can be a bit distracting at times. However, this is just a minor nitpick and doesn't detract from the overall quality of the show.
In conclusion, The Spread the Floor Podcast is an amazing podcast for NBA fans. Whether you're looking for in-depth analysis, news and rumors, or just some fun banter about basketball, this podcast delivers it all. Brian and Tobin are genuine hoop fans who provide thoughtful and engaging discussions without being arrogant or spouting nonsense hot takes. So grab your favorite jersey (mine happens to be a Kenny Thomas Rockets jersey) and tune in to this fantastic podcast!
