It's that time of year again. The snow has fallen and become muddy slush on the ground, the sun is trying to peak through the grey clouds to give us a sign of hope, and we yearn for the feel of a warm breeze through our hair. As for movies…well…. its' the dreaded winter slump. The box office has slowed and the streaming options are abysmal. This week we decided to make the best of it and embrace the slump! It's time to discuss the most inferior films of the year and check out a few movies that won't be invited to the Oscars!
The quietude of family solace, broken by a rapping at the door. A most unsettling sound. Will these uninvited guests be harbingers of good fortune, or do they come with tidings dark and terrible? As this is in M. Night Shyamalan's new film, a wise person would wager the latter. In this week's episode we discuss “Knock at the Cabin”. And for Our Week In Entertainment, we are looking at film directors and their trademarks.
Won't you join us on a journey into the bowels of hell? Oh, wait, no, sorry, we're actually just in LA in the 1920s as silent films make way for the talkies! Well, we've got some guesses, as well as all sorts of thoughts on this god forsaken three hour film. For Our Week In Entertainment we're keeping the party going! Well…sort of…the theme is “Life of the Party” and we have some interesting interpretations on that one. Enjoy!

For this month's Patreon exclusive episode, Ms Sinclair, Helen and Edison each pick 5 of these films that haven't been yet covered on the podcast and that deserve a little love.
Who's hungry for a love story about a couple of drifters in the '80s?
