    There are so many questions out there as far as what the best way way is to get the right nutrition. Each type of nutrition has it's place into your diet. Tracking macros or counting calories could be helpful to develop those skills on intuitive eating which is pretty much eyeballing food & get not only the food you like, but the portion sizes, managing your satiety and hunger levels. Also following a meal plan will help you at some point if you want to be efficient on your time and prep your meals in advance. Not having to worry about counting calories, macros o make any food choices as everything is laid out in a meal plan. Whatever your choice is at the moment, make sure that it suits your life style and schedule. Only then it will be the best way for you and only you. As I usually say: “the best diet is the one you can adhere the best”.

    My take on cheat meals & cheat days

    I know cheat meals and cheat days can be considered bad as they increase the body fat levels and can hurt your physical progress. But what about the mental progress? What about enjoying the journey, life, friends, family? I've been there were you take your meal preps everywhere and say no to certain foods. Now I rather enjoy everything moderately, and sometimes not. I rather feel good in the present, listen to my body hunger levels and when I don't I'm aware it is not the best for my body, but it might be best for my soul. To me it's worth it delay the physical process to nurture my inner self. As long as I keep consistent with my end goal in mind, acknowledging I understanding that it will take longer but it will be more enjoyable, it's totally worth it!     I found myself frustrated as I tried so many things to get in shape, or at least what I considered a nice shape but wasn't being able to achieve it after so long. Then it started to click little by little as I started with nutrition, then fitness and mobility. My life changed for good once I had my kid, and with that, I struggled more to find time to working out. Life is challenging from time to time, it throws us curved balls and we need to know how to swing. I. My case I learned that In order to be healthy I needed to incorporate in my life certain practices and mindset. To remove those mental barriers and start seeing my son as someone who would push me to be better. I wanted to have more energy to play with him, to feel better and be more productive in my life, to look better and gain more self-confidence. This podcast is for those who have a busy schedule and want to be healthier while maintaining your lifestyle. It is possible to keep enjoying life, socialize, spend time with family, work (even overtime), run your business (or side business) and still achieve your fitness goals.
