The intention of this meditation is to evoke the voice of the Inner Critic as the actual object of self compassion. This meditation differs from other mindfulness meditation in that it is intentionally inviting a particular attitude of feeling of compassion and loving kindness towards oneself rather than simply being with and noting whatever naturally arises. Remember to let go of any expectations of how this practice should feel, or that should even "feel it" at all. Sometimes just saying the words to oneself has value in that it plants seeds that may sprout on a later date. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/theinsidejobpodcast/support
