In this episode its just Colin and Dan chatting about Colins next challenge and Dan's 1st race of the year where he got on the podium. Colin has announced his next challenge to raise money for his son's school to help them learn more about Neurodiversity via the umbrella project. Once the target has been reached (which it has done) the rest of the money will go towards Roarsome Georges fundraising to help get the awareness spread to even more schools. Colins challenge will be a great test of endurance as he takes on the David Goggins 4x4x48 challenge. For anyone who doesn't know what that is its running 4 miles every 4 hours for 48 hours. He will be starting this on friday 16th June. So lets all get behind him and show him some support and donate a bit of money to charity at the same time. In this episode the wildrunners are joined by Simone Power as their last guest of 2022. Simone is the mother of George who is one of the most inspirational young boys we know. We joined up with Simone to bring you our Roarsome december challenge where we helped raise over £500 for George to help him get more information packs for adhd awareness into schools. In this episode the Wildrunners are joined by Jay and Mandy as we chat about our most recent event. As a team of 4 we took on the Run Sandringham 24 hour event and we did this as a team relay. We went with a goal in mind to run 120 miles in total (30 miles each) listen to see if we hit our target. Wildrunner Dan had the pleasure of personally chatting to Ian whilst they both climbed Mount Kilimanjaro last September as part of the Worlds Highest OCR and Altitude OCR world record challenge. Tom has set himself 4 huge challenges to help raise money for the Wales Air Ambulance who have helped his grandad in the past.
