Can you truly love God while being deeply entangled with the things of this world? This week, Coach Shelby delivers a raw and urgent message, questioning the existence of "liberal Christianity." From the distractions of social media and entertainment to the idols we unknowingly serve, are we truly living a life that reflects our claimed faith?Join us as Coach Shelby examines what it means to guard your heart, separate from worldly influences, and wholeheartedly pursue a relationship with God. This is a call to examine your priorities, confront the idols in your life, and choose whether you truly serve the Kingdom or the fleeting pleasures of the world.
Did you have that pure, unshakeable trust in God as a child? Jesus said in Matthew 18:3, "Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven." This isn't just a sentimental notion; it's a foundational truth for our faith journey. Psalm 71 speaks to a lifelong walk with God, from the dependence of youth to proclaiming His power in old age. But have we, as adults, truly embraced the humility and trust of a child that Jesus calls us to? Or have the complexities of life obscured this essential way of relating to God? In this message we explore what it means to have a heart "Just Like A Child," to help us rediscover the beauty and strength found in humble dependence on God throughout every stage of life. #childlikefaith #Matthew18 #Psalm71 #TrustInGod #FaithJourney
Ever feel that tug-of-war between the comforting idea of escape and the gritty realities Jesus described? He spoke of a time like Noah's and Lot's – sudden judgment amidst the ordinary. In this message, we're not chasing comfortable illusions. We're digging into Luke 17:26-37 and other eye-opening passages to confront a pivotal question: Is the "rapture" a secret flight before the storm, or is the Bible pointing to a different kind of gathering? Let's wrestle with these powerful scriptures and seek truth, not just comfort. #EndTimes #RaptureTruth #BibleProphecy #faithjourney
We often crave peace, don't we? Smooth relationships, comfortable coexistence. As followers of Jesus, love and unity are certainly ideals we strive for. But have you ever wrestled with the fact that Jesus himself declared, in Matthew 10:34, "Do not assume that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword"? That's a jarring statement. A sword? What kind of peace is this? And what about in Ezekiel 33, where a watchman is appointed. His job isn't to keep everyone feeling good or to avoid ruffling feathers. No, his duty is to sound the alarm when danger approaches, even if that alarm shatters the current silence, even if it causes fear and disruption. His silence, in the face of threat, carries a heavy consequence. In this video, we're going to unpack this tension between our desire for harmony and the often-uncomfortable necessity of truth. Are you prioritizing a superficial peace over the vital, sometimes disruptive, truth of God? Are you being a faithful watchman, even when the message isn't popular? Man was created within time. It is impossible to hold faith in God until you realize He is not confined by time nor exists in time as we know it. Time is for us to choose Him for eternity. Psalm 90
