In this episode of Fast To Heal Stories, Shana talks with Heather Steineke. Heather is a full-time teacher, and busy mom of 3 active children. Heather’s biggest health concern that resolved after working with Shana was severe constipation that had plagued her for decades. Although Heather routinely suffered through having a bowel movement only once every 1-2 weeks, her digestive health normalized within a few days of implementing Fast To Heal strategies. In addition to constipation, Heather has struggled with her weight most of her life. She cycled through periods of weight loss and weight gain. She tried Weight Watchers multiple times, increased her activity and tried various fad diets, only to gain the weight back. She was haunted by daily food cravings, binge and closet eating, carbohydrate addiction, digestive distress, and preoccupation with food. She knew this was not normal. Heather met with Shana for a personalized visit, read Fast To Heal, and hasn't looked back. In this episode, hear how Heather lost 20 pounds, overcame her food addictions, and how she deals with temptations at school. She also discusses her improved digestive health. Heather talks about her approach to weight loss, what has worked, what she is still working on, how she deals with stress, and what recommendations she has for others starting this lifestyle. Do you ever find yourself doing anything but what you should be? Are you highly creative, imaginative and loving? Does it ever seem like you’re too empathetic? These are just a few characteristics of a highly sensitive person. Note: Being highly sensitive is not the same as being highly emotional. HSPs are more attuned to the world around them due to how their brain is wired. As you’ll soon learn, there are pros and cons to this ability.  Heather Dominick is the founder and leader of the Highly Sensitive Entrepreneur® movement.  She has helped thousands of HSE®s release life-long limiting beliefs, overcome fears and learn how to build their business in a way that actually feels so good that they can’t help but create solid, sustainable, high level financial success. Although Heather’s work has been primarily focused on entrepreneurs, the lessons and insights are relevant to managers and their direct reports, too. Heather and I talk about what it is to be a highly sensitive person, the shadows and strengths of HSEs, how to move from coping mechanisms to healthy behaviors, and how to identify if your colleague may be highly sensitive. For example, some will busy themselves with other seemingly meaningful tasks (but which actually don’t move the work forward) while others will over-invest in getting the work done, burning themselves out in the process. Conversation with Heather Jan: Part 1

This episode of Erasing AB-PA I speak with Heather Jan, a targeted parent who was alienated from her oldest daughter. Heather's story is a little different than most in that the alienator and narcissist in her situation was not the father of her children, but the step-mother was the driving force behind the alienation. Also, Heather's son rejected the alienation despite splitting custody time with both mom and dad.Heather does not mind me using her name but asked me to remove the names of her children, their father and the step-mom when she referred to them. Although Heather made her best efforts to refer to these people as "our daughter" or "my ex" she would sometimes slip and use their real names. In order to protect their identity, we have chosen to edit out their names and replaced it with just a split second of silence. If you hear silence, please know that the name was mentioned and it was removed. As with so many alienated parents that want to share their story, these conversations can run over an hour. We have chosen to break up our conversation with Heather into two parts. In this episode, part 1, Heather shares how her daughter was alienated from her yet her son rejected it, how it was actually the step-mother who was the narcissist and main alienator and how under the disguise of wanting to improve the daughter's life, she unknowingly allowed he daughter to become even more under the influence of the alienator and to eventually reject her. But Heather's story does have a reunification ending which will be revealed in part 2 schedule for release shortly. If you would like to offer suggestions for future episodes or to tell you own story, please email me: VincentSorvino@Gmail.com.

Heather Sundquist Hall is an artist based in Smithville, Texas. Her work is heavily influenced by narratives, nostalgia and details. Heather’s illustrations have become pieces of her own stories whose purpose is to preserve memories like souvenirs. Much of Heather’s focus is on the details. It’s the subtle floral pattern on a curtain, or the kind of plaid a certain couch was that she sat on in November of 1986 that she is most attracted to explore. Heather’s work is also an attempt to honor the past, either by way of exploring it's authentic parts or through her own interpretations. Although Heather’s work illustrates her personal stories, it is her hope that when making and sharing art, that she can create a connection with the person looking at it, inviting them to pause for a quiet moment, to feel even just the smallest pull on their heartstrings. Heather hopes to help them recall their own narratives, the stories that have helped to shape them and the ones that they live by. Heather Patterson is the Founder and Chief Happiness Officer at Happier Talent Development. Heather uses her expertise to develop happier, and more fulfilling, workplaces. So, what’s the secret sauce to employee happiness? Find out on this week’s show! Although Heather currently lives in Hawaii, which may bum some of our listeners out, the truth is, you can be happy in an office during a blizzard storm too. No matter where you are, there will always be moments of happiness and frustration in the workplace. Despite the fact that Heather sees palm trees everyday, she still faces the same work-related problems anybody in the rest of the U.S. might experience. It’s important to keep in mind that the palm trees don’t make the problems go away. So, how can you optimize your workforce through a positive environment? Heather shares an important example of how she turned a skeptical, arms crossed, eyes rolled, CEO into an avid supporter. This CEO now has a much, much happier team because of Heather’s work. It comes down to not telling what the CEO should do to create a happier team, but opening up a strong dialog between the team and the leader; that way the leader can deliver and meet the needs of his or her staff.
