Common Tables December 24, 2025 Christmas Eve Service of Las Posadas.Let every heart prepare him room! Our Christmas Eve service was an interactive, family-friendly experience of the Christmas story! This shorter worship experience engaged all ages with music, drama, and candle-lighting. While you may not get the full experience, you can listen as we reflect on the Holy Family's search for shelter in the Christmas story. Listen as we ponder and pray for people searching for refuge today as we welcome Christ the holy stranger into our world. As an added bonus that we don't normally include, Rev. Lan Davis Wilson welcomes us to an open table in communion and Brooke Willson sends us with the Benediction.
Christmas really is the most wonderful time of the year. It's wonderful because Christmas brings us all kinds of things. Gifts, goodies, time with friends and family, great lights and decorations, the list goes on. But most of all, I think, Christmas brings us love. This story really is all about love. God isn't always what we might expect - power, awesomeness, majesty - but love - love born among us as an infant. Whatever else Christmas brings us this year, none of it is really worth all that much unless we stop and consider that Christmas brings us love - and calls us to love. Speaker: Aaron Vis Scripture: Luke 2:1-20
This message was given by Pastor DJ Ritchey on December 24, 2025 at Memorial Heights Baptist Church.
"Christmas Eve Service"
Magnifying the Christ of ChristmasThe Risen ChristChristmas EveMatthew 1:18–23 | King's Chapel Live StreamChristmas is not only about the birth of Jesus. It is about why He came and what He is still doing today. In this Christmas Eve message, we reflect on the Risen Christ. Jesus was born to die for us, giving His life as a ransom so that we could be forgiven and made new. His birth was the beginning of a mission that would lead to the cross and ultimately to the empty tomb. But the story does not stop there. Jesus will return to reign over us. One day every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. Until that day, He shines His light upon us, reminding us that darkness will not prevail and that hope is alive because He lives. As we celebrate Christmas, this message calls us to remember that the Christ of Christmas is the Savior who died for us, the King who will reign forever, and the Light who continues to shine in our world today. If you are longing for hope, peace, or light this Christmas, this message points us to the risen Jesus who is still at work and still drawing people to Himself.Connect with King's Chapel in Longwood, FL - ▶️ www.kingschapelfl.com▶️ https://www.facebook.com/KingsChapelfl▶️ https://www.instagram.com/kingschapelfl/For the GLORY of our Great GodFor the GOOD of our NeighborChristmas Eve sermon, The Risen Christ, Jesus born to die, Matthew 1 Christmas message, King's Chapel Longwood FL, Christ of Christmas sermon, hope of the resurrection, Jesus light in the darkness, Christmas gospel message

In this Christmas message, we explore the true meaning of peace on earth in a world that feels heavy and overwhelming. Through the familiar Christmas story in Luke 2, we contrast the manufactured peace of worldly power with the lasting peace brought by Jesus, the true Son of God. As we reflect on the weight we carry—stress, expectations, fear, and control—we are invited to lay it down and trust the One who already holds the world. This sermon reminds us that real peace doesn't come from striving or control, but from surrendering our lives to Christ, who came, is present with us now, and will come again.
On Christmas Eve, we gather to remember that God came near. In this special service, Pastor Alex leads us as we celebrate the birth of Jesus through music, story, and moments of quiet reflection. Whether South feels like home or you're joining us for the first time, this episode invites you into the hope and joy of the season. Come pause with us, sing together, and receive the good news of Christmas as we remember the light that has come into the world.
Pastor Derrick Lynch preaches through Psalm 2 in this Classic Christmas Eve service to close our series, "The Weary World Rejoices."

The birth of Jesus symbolizes the powerful awakening of consciousness that has touched all corners of the world. The honoring and realization that this Christ Consciousness lies in all of us, is truly the source of eternal joy.

Pastor Tim takes us through the story of Jesus's birth and reminding us what the purpose of Christmas is.
The mystery of Advent speaks to that waiting. Not just the waiting for a holiday, but that longing for something more, something better than this we currently inhabit. A world made new. The good news of the gospel is that we can wait with confidence, because that's the world promised in Jesus Christ. Throughout the season, we explore the Servant Songs of the Book of Isaiah and the unique way they point us to the Messiah who has come in Jesus and is coming again to make all things new, fulfilling the deepest longing of our hearts. Our prayer is that as we do, Jesus will meet us in our weakness and our waiting – our longing! — and together we will discover afresh the God who is both with us and for us. This Christmas, Pastor Jeff Moes steps into the story we think we know — and discovering something deeper. We'll read the familiar words of Luke 2, then turn to Matthew 1 to look at the people in Jesus' family line… the broken, the doubtful, and the messy. From Abraham's questions, to Rahab's past, to a family in need of healing, this message is for anyone who's ever wondered if God could really use them. Because Christmas isn't about perfect people — it's about a perfect Savior stepping into imperfect stories.--WebsiteFacebookInstagramSunday SetlistConnect with us!How can we prayer for you? Revisit the familiar story of the Wise Men through three powerful images from the story in Matthew's Gospel: the Star, the Sword, and the Shepherd-King. Together, they help us see—perhaps with fresh eyes—the true glory of who Jesus is: the Cosmic Jewish King for all nations. Though opposed by evil and human rebellion, He triumps through sacrifical love, ultimately giving His life on the cross. Whether you come as a follower of Christ or are still exploring faith, this message invites you—like the Wise Men—to receive Jesus as your King and respond with faith, joy, and worship. This message was preached by Pastor Dan McIntosh on December 24, 2025.

Luke 2:8-148 And in the same region there were shepherds out in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. 9 And an angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were filled with great fear. 10 And the angel said to them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. 11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. 12 And this will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger.” 13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying,
