The film “Sing Sing” is showing in theaters and in more than 1,000 prisons around the United States. The movie, which stars Colman Domingo alongside formerly incarcerated actors, portrays life behind bars through the lens of a prison theater program. Here in Minnesota, the organization Ten Thousand Things does similar work at a smaller scale. Managing director Stephanie Thompson joined MPR News host Nina Moini to talk about this work.
Bob Uecker and David Lynch are hanging out together in Heaven's waiting room, laughing (slowly, and in reverse, naturally), looking down as Hell freezes over so that Donald Trump can return to the Presidency. But... why are we still here though? Probably to listen to David Waldman on the Friday KITM. Don't turn to Republicans to answer your questions, existential or otherwise. They have all the answers, just not to the questions they've been asked. If they told you the answer they wouldn't have to kill you, but they'll wish they have had killed themselves. Joe Biden looked at his watch and just realized that he forgot to answer all the questions and fix everything. Hurry Joe! What caused Sam Harris to wake up and turn on his bro Elon Musk, other than they couldn't fit both of their heads into the same room anymore? Bro RFK Jr. isn't a part of the broligarchy on nepotism, inheritance, and psychopathy alone. He put in his time scamming rubes just like the rest of them. Paul Manafort returns to his job of being the bro of the broligarchy and dick for the dictators. Beta Mike Johnson makes certain to have all betas in chair positions before Trump comes in. Meatball Ron DeSantis sometimes doesn't do exactly what he's told but is still a good boy. In Minnesota, DFL Rep. Brad Tabke of Shakopee won reelection, but Gops seized control anyway, which would really matter if they had planned to get anything done legislatively.
The Matt McNeil Show - AM950 The Progressive Voice of Minnesota
Matt McNeil is joined by state Rep. Brad Tabke from district 54A which includes Shakopee and surrounding areas. Tabke narrowly won reelection last fall, a decision that was just affirmed by the courts. But Republicans are refusing to seat him, leading to DFLers boycotting the House.
www.commsolutionsmn.com- What is going on with the DFL? They've done gone lost their minds. There are three different seats up for grabs. A State Senator in Minneapolis passed away, and there will be a special election for the seat. The primary is on January 14th, with the special election on January 28th. There was a one-day filing period. Most of the time, there's a couple of weeks. What's the rush? DFL candidate Curtis Johnson (40B - Roseville) won an election, and then was found to not meet the residency requirements. Curtis wasn't not allowed to hold the seat, giving the Republicans a 67-66 temporary edge. In the race down in Shakopee, DFL candidate, Brad Tabke won his race by 14 votes... except that there are 20 ballots missing. Of course the Democrats are all ok with these missing ballots and call any kind of a re-vote as election interference, although when the vote goes against them, every vote must be counted. It's hypocrisy at its worst. Speaking of "the worst", we have seen the mainstream media continue to lie about Donald Trump. George Stephanopolous and ABC settled with Donald Trump for falsely accusing him of being a "rapist" ten times. Did ABC punish old George? Of course not! The corporate bosses have a story to tell, and the truth can't get in the way. CBS has been under fire for cutting content out of an interview with Vice President and then-presidential candidate, Kamala Harris. CBS says that it was done for time, but they were caught posting two answers to the same question. So that caused many to believe that CBS was hiding something on her behalf. What is the solution to a mainstream media in the Democrat's pocket? Are their days of influence behind them? Let us know what you think!

Plechash plans to focus on cash flow to the party and electing a Republican in the next gubernatorial race. Tom also talks about his day on ballot watch attending testimonies in Shakopee. Henry wraps the first hour talking about the school shooting in Madison, Wisconsin earlier today.

One person whose sentence was commuted was Jim Carlson. In 2014, Carlson was convicted of selling illegal synthetic drugs from his Duluth head shop.
