DEAS (Karol Mozgawa), based in Cracow/Poland, born in Greece is a music producer and DJ, who is fast becoming one of Techno's most exciting breakthrough artists originating from Eastern Europe. One can recognize his Greek origins and East European upbringing in his music, where enthusiasm and fantasy blends in varying shades of Techno. He believes that music "is never a subject to stereotypes and clichés". This allows him to think freely and create music without boundaries, in which psychedelics and raw, heavy Techno is balanced to perfection with memorable, warm but yet deep melodies. Not yet 30, he has been mastering his production skills for a decade. During this time he developed an impressive studio where most of his music is recorded live. His hard work is presently coming into a full effect with the releases of a number of labels ranging from Second State, Materia through Planet Rhythm, Bush Records, to Kevin Sanderson's KMS Records. Deas is also a highly sought-after remixer with previous works done for such legends like Carl Cox or Inner City. His productions received great feedback and are strongly endorsed by Len Faki, Ilario Alicante, Kangding Ray to name just a few. DEAS's music is also featured and supported by such music magazines as Mixmag, Dj Mag, Big Shot Magazine, Decoded Magazine, Magnetic Magazine, Datatransmission and so on. It is not that often you see such broadly developed artist, like Karol, who is equally skilled in the production studio and behind the decks. He already holds 2 residencies in Poland premier venues, Smolna since 2017 and Prozak 2.0 (since 2012). He has appeared among others in Berlin, Cologne, Genewa, Warsaw and also at the Amsterdam Dance Event. This artist regularly marks his presence at the largest Polish festivals like Open'er or Audioriver.

This week, we would like to introduce an innovative, forward-thinking approach Dj Gerard Bozyk from Dublin, Ireland. He is never afraid to dig deeper when selecting music for his sets. Driven by rhythm and melodies followed by him becoming good friends with a leading local DJ, Gerard was introduced to the DJing. From there, his DJ career began to take off a couple of years ago when he became one of the monthly residents on Proton Radio. One of his greatest achievements to date was winning the mix of the month competition with Decoded Magazine. The underground progressive house scene is where he finds himself the most, loading his sets with music coming from labels such as Lost and Found, Perspective Digital, Anjunadeep to name a few. So far he has been appearing on some leading radio stations such as Houseradio.pl, Frisky, Digitally Imported and Insomnia FM. Gerard has on his account an exclusive Spotify & Apple Music compilation which was released early in the year featuring music from the infamous Proton & Particles labels. Also recently he has supported one of his personal heroes which is Khen in Yamomori Tengu in Dublin (Ireland) o June 14th 2019. Have a nice weekend. In this episode, I am so happy to share a masterwork by Daniel Moore/Ablekid. Not long after a move to the musical hotbed of Austin, Texas in 2009, the Ablekid moniker had seen success in various forms. Various tracks signed to Kindred Recordings (Paris) and Rapid Fire Records (Miami) in 2009 put his production style on the map. Daniel has also fostered relationships with many promo services by becoming part of the esteemed Release Promo roster in 2014. In late 2015 Daniel started his radio show on DNA Radio FM, “Pineal Sessions with Ablekid” showcasing his finest picks for the enlightened listeners he hopes to reach. Daniel’s newly released music can be found on Praveen Achary’s Juicebox Music where he has made the USA’s sole appearance on the esteemed label’s first “Elements” series, an ongoing venture that sees the label highlight talent from across the world. The release also saw a write up and 12 Questions interview from legend Mitch Alexander and Change Underground, making it a true highlight thus far in this man’s musical journey. Daniel’s continued success in the US underground is a combination of effective crate digging, silky smooth DJ skills and just the right amount of grit and determination. Recent guest spots for Electronic Groove, Decoded Magazine, and a featured regular on Cirque Noir’s Frisky radio show, amongst others, are subtle hints at the result of all this hard work and shows a depth of knowledge and attention to detail that has seen his heroes rule the underground for many wonderful tune filled years. Host of Decoded Magazine‘s globally syndicated radio show sees Ian present exclusive new music and guests that have included Henry Saiz, Robert Babicz, Darin Epsilon, Gabriel & Dresden, Mr C, Tilt, AudioStorm, Fractal Architect, Kiki and many more. As a DJ he has played alongside heroes like Dave Seaman and many others both in the UK & abroad. Ahead of their outstanding appearances at Familia on 6th September Marc Maya and Raul Mezcolanza came and laid down exclusive sets live on Egg London Radio. For the first 60 minutes the unmistakable infectious beats of Marc Maya filled the airwaves. Marc the became a fixture at Florida 135 and soon after one of the only Residents at the International Festival of gigantic proportions- the Monegros Desert Festival. With releases on 1605, Great Stuff and Fresco. Standing out as a Spanish DJ can sometimes be an overwhelming task, however Marc is certainly achieving this and then some! Joining Marc for the second hour Raul Mezcolanza, a man who over the past few years has been conscientiously evolving, perfecting and mastering his own style and sound, with releases on Suara, Octopus, Bitten, 1605, Loose Records and Analytic among others.
