Dove eravamo rimasti? A si il caldo. Ma non piu'! Almeno per me (Matteo) Katie e Brodie, perche' siamo in Inghilterra! Got some sh!t to say?In this episode, Marko and Steve dive into one of the most frustrating modern dating behaviors: breadcrumbing. You know the type—just enough attention to keep you interested, but never enough to actually go anywhere. The guys break down what breadcrumbing really looks like in action, why people do it (and yes, they call themselves out too), and how to spot the signs before you get too invested. They get into the psychology behind why breadcrumbing is so hard to walk away from, and debate whether it might actually be worse than ghosting. Plus, they unpack the blurred lines between genuine interest and inconsistent communication, and why so many of us keep responding even when we know better. To wrap things up, Marko and Steve tackle the week's Listener Sh!tuation, offering their thoughts and guidance on a real life dilemma from the audience.-Articles:Psychology Today | BreadcrumbingHelp our friends at Fresco's Grand Cantina:Follow them on Instagram: @frescosgrandcantinaDonate on GoFundMe: Help Keep Our Inclusive Astoria Restaurant OpenVisit them:https://welovefrescos.com/Support the showSh!t | Leave us a voicemail with your relationship sh!tuation at (903) POD- SHIT. It's time for our monthly news roundup where we discuss some of the biggest stories emerging in the art world. On the heels of the first-ever Art Basel Qatar, we will be discussing the Middle Eastern art market and the regional art scenes. Is this simply another fair on the global circuit, or something more structural—an attempt to recalibrate where cultural power sits? We will doing a vibe check on the Ultra-Contemporary art scene's current obsession with Old Masters, art history, and dead artists. As market pressures mount and institutions increasingly turn toward estates and historical figures, we'll ask whether this is a genuine intellectual reckoning or a marketing strategy dressed up as scholarship. Maybe it is both? Finally, we will rove over to Rome, Italy, where where a church fresco featuring an angel that bore a striking resemblance to Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni was abruptly removed, sparking debate within and well beyond the church about restoration, iconography, and the politics of sacred imagery. We reminisce about the great many botched art restorations of years past. To discuss these topics, Ben Davis and Kate Brown are joined this month by London-based Artnet News editor Margaret Carrigan. Carrigan is the host of our sister podcast, the Art Market Minute, and co-author of our weekly Artnet Pro market newsletter, The Back Room.

IWP Ep101 Jack Sporer - Fres.co Wine and Magnolia Wine Services. I recently sat down at Dos Bar in Sonoma to talk with Jack Sporer of Fresh Wine Company aka Fresco and Magnolia Wine Services. Jack grew up in San Francisco but has longtime family ties to some of the most well known vineyards and farms of the Sonoma Valley. With Magnolia he's at the center of the valley's small production wine community. And his Fresco wines are really unique natural wines made from mostly Sonoma Valley grapes. They offer everything from easy and fun drinking wines to serious single vineyard orange wines and structured Primitivo. He's also of course involved in Dos Bar, which is an amazing tasting room and event space just off the Sonoma Square.
