Producent Siri Hill. Exekutiv producent Hanna Frelin. Tekniker Fredrik Nilsson. Programmet görs av produktionsbolaget Tredje Statsmakten Media.Medverkande: Effie Karabuda, Mia Arias Tsang och Joachim Voss Sundell.Som källor har använts artiklar om och intervjuer med Grimes i Sydney Morning Herald, Vanity Fair, The New Yorker, Chicago Tribune, Rolling Stone, The Independent, The Fader, ABC News, The Guardian, The New York Times, NPR, Billboard, Headliner, Dont Die Wondering, Entertainment Weekly, The Wall Street Journal, DIY Magazine, Medium, ABC Australia, The Independent, CBC och The Things.Ljudklipp i dokumentären kommer från: Lex Fridman Podcast, The Zane Lowe Interview Series, Entertainment Tonight Canada, Youtube-kanalen lok, The Interview Show with David Scott, POOF! Recorded live from the DIY office, London, England, on the day our new mag came back from the printers, and it’s been quite the month! In this episode the DIY team talk through all the musical goings on in and out of the August '17 issue of our magazine. AS IF THAT WASN'T ENOUGH we have interviews with Kasabian at TRNSMT in Glasgow, only bloody Nate from Foo Fighters in Madrid, Lucy Rose gives us an exclusive audio diary from her latest tour of India and oh yeah, we've been pretty busy, busy thinking 'bout boys.... ba ding! This episode is hosted by Emma Swann (founding editor), Lisa Wright (staff writer), Will Richards and Sarah Jamieson (editor). Oh and we all saw Charlie Simpson in the pub afterwards. Surely that deserves an iTunes (Fight)star rating? In our new audio series 'Anything but...' El Hunt, the boss of bizarre lines of enquiry and DIY magazine's features editor, really gets to know some of her favourite acts, by not uttering a word about the music (well until she gets distracted and forgets, feel free to tweet us if you feel aggrieved about that) and records it for your pleasure. In this episode El is joined by Stephen and Audun of two piece Liverpool jangly-indie pop sensations Her's (or 'international supersonic spectral wave band', as they define themselves). The plan is not to talk about music and they do get close, but manage to divert to chats about dream farms, Travelodge groundhog days, Norway day spent in a van and some home improvement success stories. Get to know Her's in a totally different way, enjoy. Her's debut LP 'Songs of Her's' is out now! Returning to the venue that they played their first ever London show in, Liverpool's Circa Waves have come a long way in that time. Worldwide tours, main stages of festivals and with the release of their second record this year, they were invited back by DIY Magazine to celebrate that and their recent cover for the mag, to one of London's most intimate shows, on one damn muggy night, so we caught up with lead singer Kieran on the day, and some buzzing (if a little sweat drenched) fans after the show. If you want to hear more, subscribe to all of the DIY Podcasts series on iTunes, Audioboom or wherever you get your audio. Like what you hear?
