What do you wish you could go back in time and tell yourself about becoming a parent for the first time? We've been planning this episode for a while but we wanted to keep it REAL and have someone who would be completely honest about becoming a parent AND transitioning from one to two kids. If you've followed her on Instagram you'll know that Elyse Knowles does just that. Elyse is a mum of two, a model and was the winner of the Block along with her partner Josh back in 2017. She has just had her second child Zaii 7 months ago and her son Sunny is almost three. If you or someone you know are considering, expecting or about to transition into have two (or three) this episode is a great reminder of what it's REALLY like that most people don't tell you. You'll hear: ✨What the hospitals tell you to focus on that is a complete waste of time ✨Absolute MUST HAVES for a new Mum ✨What Elyse struggled with the most when becoming a parent ✨Where each of us found our support networks … and a whole lot more! Kristy is FINALLY onto Ted Lasso and lets you know what she thinks but Beck isn't quite ready to share her midnight mummas recommendation this week. Elyse Knowles has always struggled with her skin. She'd tried the pill, facials, Roaccutane...but it wasn't until 9 months ago that she started to see changes. Of course some of it is curtesy of the little one setting up shop in her tum, but she's also found a system that works for her (finally!). She sat down with Shazzy to talk about her love of natural products and how pregnancy has changed her beauty routine. Today’s guest is not only one of the most breathtakingly stunning people I’ve ever met, but also one of the hardest working, motivated and down to earth despite her many successes. While many of you will know Elyse Knowles as a leading Australian model and winner of the Block in 2017 with her legend of a partner, Josh, we’ve known Knowlzy since years before that and she’s as humble, outdoorsy and unpretentious now as she always has been.Among a string of impressive achievements in just 26 short years, Elyse is an ambassador for Myer, Seafolly, Aveda, Davidoff and Vital Everyday as well as a charity ambassador for WaterAid. She is also a savvy business woman launching her own fashion label, Evrryday, and she and Josh are continuing as a killer renovation duo having recently moved into their second home after selling their completely transformed Coburg home in November last year.If you follow Elyse along with nearly a million other people, you’ll know she can do full glamour better than most but prefers to go make up free by the Murray and loves camping, cleaning up the local beaches, motorbikes and her fur babies, Isla and Harlow. To top it all off she has just released her first beautiful book, From Me to You, sharing her story, challenges and top tips on beauty, fashion, health and fitness. So excited to have her here to chat more about the book and how she seizes her yay!+ Full show notes here + Announcements on Insta at @spoonful_of_sarah+ Subscribe to not miss out on the next instalment of YAY!
