Christians are to be kind. But what does that mean? Kindness is not niceness. Join us as we look at how God says Christians are to live.
Joy should be a hallmark of Christ followers in the good times and the bad. Amidst suffering, Christ followers can experience joy that those who don't know Christ won't.

Unforgiveness brings bondage, breeds bitterness and blocks healing. Forgiveness frees me, frees us and frees others.
Wisdom helps us discern right from wrong, good from bad, and better from best. The sermon series on "Wisdom in Bite-Size Pieces" continues with Pastor Steve Murray's sermon on "Behaviors that build you and behaviors that burden you." The worship service kicks off with a reading of Psalm 134:1-14 by Carolyn Rico (all in attendance were encouraged to read along). Kelly Colvard (LJCC member) along with Chris Spurdock (guest musician and vocalist) lead us into worship with "Build My Life" and "Living Hope." After the two-song worship set guests greet one another. Kelly then invites guests to turn their attention to the screens for video announcements. After the video Carolyn Rico (LJCC member) gives the Prayers of the People. Pastor Steve Murray then comes up to give the message of the morning, followed by the Prayer for the Offering. During the Offertory the LJCC Worship band sings, "Christ Is Enough," followed by "Scandal of Grace." As we close out the service, Pastor Steve Murray gives the Benediction.

The greatness of true love is shown through the expense of it’s giving, proportionate to one’s ability to give. Be encouraged by God's love today and abound in showing it to others, just as He has loved us.

This is a podcast conversation on anger with Pastor Chris Watson and Discipleship Pastor Archie Rish. The sermon podcast was not recorded due to technical issues so we recorded the sermon as a conversation on applying the gospel to our anger issues.

When we have experienced hurt and/or betrayal, our attitude and response can shape the future of our life, for better or worse. If we choose revenge, we go down a dangerous path where we distance ourselves from God and others. Bitterness causes real damage that can derail one’s life.

You might not see it coming, but it is hard to miss the trail of destruction it leaves in its wake-- broken relationships, damaged lives, shattered dreams. If ignored, this deadliest of habits will only grow in power, lashing out at those who least expect it. And the only way to get rid of anger is to follow some radical advice.
