What is love and what does it look like as you grow? Charli Williams is exploring new forms of love with her family, romantic relationships, and with herself. Love is complex. Since we're imperfect we don't always know how to express or receive it. This episode is a reminder that as you learn new things, experience new stages of life, and become more courageous, the love you give and receive may transform, and that's ok. You are loved and you are a phenomenal woman. In this episode you'll hear about: not being seen for who you are, definitions of love, feeling emotionless, emotional intelligence, doing things even when you don't want to, the impact of therapy, implications of the stereotype of the strong black woman, emotions vs logic, expressing love as a parent during the transition from child to teen, God's love, giving and receiving love, grace, and staying true to your values. At the end of the episode, we reframe her limiting belief "your love can't evolve over time" to fit more within Charli's desired reality. Stay tuned until the end to shift your mindset. Like a farmer tilling the soil,Getting rid of stones and weeds,I'm preparing for a new season,Thinking new thoughts and sowing new seeds.☉What a month we have ahead of us, folks! It's starting off with this new Moon in Pisces, Mars just gone direct, Venus now going retrograde, Mercury soon to follow, and then some very powerful eclipses. Hold onto your hats! What's it all about? Just like the mantra says and I elaborate on in this report, if we want to get a good result (crop), we want to prepare the ground carefully. Pisces and the 12th house have to do with what goes on "behind the scenes." Just think of ALL that goes backstage, a LOT! Especially just before the curtain rises. There is great anticipation, excitement, nervousness, and yes, sometimes some fear.Because the truth is that we simply don't know how the play (or season) is going to go. We have no idea what lies ahead so we have to prepare as best we can for everything and anything. Mercury, coming through past Saturn, is now conjunct with Neptune. We've thought about the practical realities, now let's let our imagination soar. Sure, things can fail, but oh wow, they can also blast off beyond our wildest expectations! The old adage is "Plan for the best and prepare for the worst." Perhaps we have it the other way around now, with Saturn in mid-Pisces and Neptune in its last degrees. We've prepared for the worst, so now let's plan for the best! Venus and Mercury both to retrograde back to Neptune in Pisces from Aries say to each other, "Whoa, wait a minute, let's go back and get some more dreams and love, let go of some more stuff and then head out on our journey this year."We've got six weeks of Venus (Inanna) descending into the underworld and rising in the east as our warrior goddess. Six weeks of going down and in, humbly bowing down, finding our true spiritual core, and returning from the depths having let go of old ways, relationships, habits, identities, and lives in order to be re-birthed naked into a whole new Self.We know this is no overnight, easy process. This week in particular, as Mars picks up some speed going forward through the waters of Cancer, we may become more aware of some unmet, unspoken, un-acted upon desires that stir us up and call us out. It's time to be true to ourselves, honor our needs, and take our inner child with us this time. No leaving ourselves behind like we did before in our past endeavors. Maybe we need to make some more room in the car for our little one? Go for it!Feel blessed by the magic of the Moon above with Xavier! https://youtu.be/tlUDHmArgfE?si=b2viy85bhQXKKf4DSo Much Love,Kaypacha

Episode 75: What Is Love? - Operation: Thriving Marriage Welcome back to Operation: Thriving Marriage! In today's episode, we dive into one of the most fundamental aspects of both faith and relationships: What Is Love? Episode Summary: Love is often misunderstood in our culture, reduced to just a fleeting emotion or romantic ideal. But Jesus commands us to love, which means love must be more than just a feeling—it's an attitude and an action as well. In this episode, we explore what the Bible teaches about love and how understanding love biblically can strengthen our marriages. Key Topics Discussed: •Love as the Foundation of Kingdom Living: From creation to redemption, everything God does is rooted in love. •Love in Culture vs. Love in Scripture: How modern music and entertainment often distort the true meaning of love. •The Command to Love: Jesus tells us to love one another (John 13:34-35) and love God and our neighbors (Mark 12:28-31). •Love as Emotion, Attitude, and Action: •Emotion: While emotions are natural responses, love isn't just about how we feel. •Attitude: Love is a choice. We control our attitudes and can choose to see the best in our spouse. •Action: True love requires action, even when it's inconvenient or sacrificial. •The Example of David and Jonathan (1 Samuel 18 & 20): Jonathan's love for David was more than just a feeling—it was shown through trust, support, and sacrifice. •Practical Ways to Love in Marriage: •Choosing to believe the best in your spouse. •Showing love through acts of service and sacrifice. •Cultivating love over time through intentional attitudes and actions. Key Takeaways: 1.Love isn't just a feeling—it's a commitment. 2.We have control over our attitude toward our spouse. Choosing love daily leads to a stronger, thriving marriage. 3.Actions shape emotions. When we serve and love sacrificially, our feelings of love grow deeper over time. "All You Really Need is Love." That can be true if you understand what love is. If you do not it can cause lots of problems. Paul tell us that love is what binds the other graces together so how does that work? Let's explore.

The apostle John is writing to help Christians know if they have eternal life (cf. 1 John 5:13). John does not want anyone to be deceived regarding their relationship with God. Atheists argue that the God of the Bible isn't a God of love. And technically, they're right! God is a God of absolute righteousness and justice. The ultimate EFFECT of being right and just is love! So then, what is love? Is it a feeling, or a choice? In this podcast we'll look at an argument I had with an annoying atheist (is there any other kind?) that led to the true definition of God's love. We'll also cover:How you can tell if a person is an atheist (or from New York) in 60 secondsHow atheists tacitly admit that they are insaneHow most of us (including Christians) have a wrong definition of loveThe true Biblical definition of loveWhy God is NOT a “God of love”.The first demonstration of love in the Bible (and how it relates to the ULTIMATE show of love)The KJV of 1 Corinthians 13 gives the most accurate definition of love

Love is complex in our culture, tied up with finding a single person to satisfy our huge list of needs and dreams who we then grant the exclusive gift of our affection. But love—loving-kindness from the Buddhist perspective—is simpler, free from attachment. It's wishing others to be happy.Episode 25: What Is Love?Support the show

When I incarnate from the Spirit world, Into time and space, There is separation and limitation, That hold me and show me my place. ☉
When you think about love, "What Is Love?"...
As I continue to grow and expand, There are limitations I can no longer stand. It hurts to move on and it hurts to remain, But I can no longer with this ball and chain. ☉
It's easy to get frustrated, As there is so much going on, But with focused attention and patience galore, I know I will get it all done.☉ Let's do astrology together in Costa Rica & Greece! https://bit.ly/kaypacha-events Whether you are getting overwhelmed or you want to overwhelm the world (explained in the report), the feeling of overwhelm is in the air as Mars and Jupiter come together! It is both an exciting time of changing scenes and nerve-racking, like a juggler trying to juggle too many balls. Fortunately, we have a beautiful Mercury/Venus conjunction in Virgo to help ground this wild, expansive energy (if we can focus enough) into rock-solid new creations. Yes, it will take focused work (Virgo), patience (Saturn square), and also tenacity (forgot that in the mantra). So don't let stops and blocks make you question or doubt. It's just a test of your perseverance. Actually, if we think about it, blocks, stops, hindrances, and obstacles can lead to alternative thinking and possible new discoveries that you would not have considered if things just went your way. Take this time as an opportunity to actively invent, reinvent, and upgrade your life through inspiration and imagination rather than as punishment. You'll be glad you did! This week's song is: https://youtu.be/Jl5vi9ir49g?si=nXXw83XksE_TbMG7 So Much Love, Kaypacha ☉
Like a performer standing backstage, As the show is about to begin, I transform my fear into energy, To create more power within. ☉
Wedding vows express what we love about our mate and what we hope for our future together. In this episode, I share what my husband and I wrote for each other for our wedding day. I also share vows from a couple who have been together for many decades and what they've achieved from the vows they wrote. They also discuss WHAT IS LOVE?If you'd like to watch the videos of the couple I talk about in this episode, here are the links: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pbyQhbZJhwI&t=0shttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=td2O06HfhDYIf you enjoy my podcast, please consider supporting it with a one-time or ongoing gift. https://womenbeingloved.com/podcast/
If I really want to evolve, I not only need to dissolve, The walls surrounding my heart, But bridge back together what is now torn apart. ☉

We have learned so much about how we should love, that we don't know much about how we are loved, and how we do love. There is so much that we should be thinking, feeling, doing in the name of love, that we don't realize how much of it is actually false, fake, ingenuous. What is really going on behind all those shoulds? Have we yet begun to be certain that we are loved, deeply loved by the divine and the Self? Have we come to understand the specific and very individualized ways in which we love? This show is going to put us in touch with love. Be here for it.

Jase is back for the 5th time on the podcast and we're discussing what it means to be healed or not to be healed in a 3 part What is Loves series. A few questions to think about while listening to today's audio pod: 1. Is there such a thing as overdoing your healing? Is premarital counsel not a thing in black couples? 3.Should we stop trying to figure out what love is? Love is the proof that God's presence is truly in you and that you are a part of God's family. Scripture teaches that God is love, and love cannot be separated from God. In our sermon today, we explore the idea that true love always results in action. We see this through Jesus' love for us. We, as true believers, live lives that show the love of Jesus to others. As we continue this bible study through 1 John and explore blessed assurance, we learn that fully embracing the perfect love of God will drive away all our past, present, and future fears. Is your life reflecting the true love of God towards others? Have you fully embraced the perfect love of God? Do you need to encounter and know God today? If you've got questions, we are here to offer support, ready to answer them and pray with you. As always, you can take the next step in your faith journey by visiting burnthickory/next.

As we've discussed all throughout this month, love and relationships can be challenging and take a lot of time, attention, sacrifice, and intentionality. Therefore, as we wrap up the month of February and really this entire ‘What Is Love' series, we thought there were no better guests than bringing on a power couple who love Jesus as well as live, love, and lead others so well. Joining us again today is my dear friend - renowned speaker, hope dealer, & Harris Creek Baptist Church Young Adult's Pastor, Grant Troutt accompanied by his bride - best-selling author, renowned speaker, and social media influencer, Madi Prewett Troutt. What I love about these two is that although God has entrusted them with an incredible platform that has a lot of influence, it's evident that they are full of grace, humility, and find no greater joy than deflecting the honor and glory onto the Lord Himself. And what I love about today's conversation is that it truly is for everyone as we're going to be talking about how we can find true joy and satisfaction no matter the season and no matter your relationship status, as well as diving deep into the gift of marriage and reflecting on some strategies that can help couples love well or even turn their love around. We pray this would be a conversation that would be transformative in your life and those closest to you.Find out more about Harris Creek Young Adults: https://www.harriscreek.org/youngadults Madi's Website: https://madiprew.com/ Find out more and Purchase, ‘The Love Everybody Wants' HERE: https://www.theloveeverybodywants.com/
In this episode of the LDS Mission Podcast, episode number 138, we explore the intriguing question: Is love a verb? We delve into thoughts on love, sharing some personal insights along the way. In this episode, we challenge the common notion of love as an action. Instead we propose that love is, in fact, a feeling. One that we create within ourselves through our thoughts. Drawing on the self-coaching model, we focus on remembering that thoughts lead to feelings, and it's the emotion of love that fuels our actions. We discuss the impact of this perspective on relationships. But we also highlight the importance of understanding that we cannot control or force others to feel love through our actions. We conclude by encouraging listeners to focus on being "heart smart." Fostering love not just for others but also for oneself and for God. This episode provides a fresh and empowering perspective on the nature of love, urging listeners to embrace the idea that love is a feeling, not just a verb. Wellness + Wisdom | Episode 595 Can relationship death be the beginning of true love? Margo Running, Holistic and Spiritual Healer, accompanies Josh Trent and his partner, Carrie Michelle, on the Wellness + Wisdom podcast, episode 595, where together they unravel how their relationship had to die to be recreated anew without projecting their trauma onto each other, why they decided to stay together, and how Margo helped guide them through this process. "When I saw you both loving each other so much, and yet this confusion of what that needs to look like. We're hereditary and generational trauma gets passed on. I saw all of our ancestors looking at this moment going "We didn't know how to make it good. Can you?" And we're like, yes, we are actually changing this understanding of love." - Margo Running Live Life Well from Sunrise to Sunset Save 20% with code "WELLNESSFORCE" on everyone's favorite Superfoods brand, ORGANIFI, including their Sunrise to Sunset Bundle with the best tasting Green, Red, and Gold Juice blends to make your day complete. But I was keeping score because I thought if it doesn‘t work out, then I have all this evidence stacked to why she hurt me and why everything transpired the way it did. I was building a case as to if it didn‘t work out then like it was her fault. What was missing was me not loving Josh. Not choosing Josh. Not actually fucking choosing Josh. Not even knowing what it is to choose myself." - Josh Trent Love Beyond A Relationship "I didn't know if you were going to love me beyond our relationship. I had to know that you were going to love me even if it wasn't in service to you. It feels different when you can truly choose someone and you‘re not choosing someone out of fear of losing them." - Carrie Michelle Let Go of Your Triggers "I have to let go of everything that is triggering me, what I think is wrong, and what I'm blaming you, shaming you, or judging you about and just ask myself "What can I really learn from this?" You're not my dad, you're not my mom, but on some visceral level this lives in us. And we unconsciously push it onto the person that we love. It's just so sad that we do that. Snippet From the Show “I think that the question of love is something really pressing today and the hearts and minds of everyone, especially of young people.” – Anne Marie Bollman Today's special guest is Anne Marie Bollman, a senior at the University of Notre Dame studying the Program of Liberal Studies and Theology with a minor in history. On campus, she is a student worker for the de Nicola Center for Ethics and Culture and is deeply involved in Right to Life, coordinating its annual adopt-a-mom fundraiser. Previously, she has worked for Paradisus Dei on the What is Love? project (https://www.whatislove.org/) and is thrilled to see the impact it will have on young people's lives. After studying abroad in France and volunteering at Lourdes, she is now putting her love of the French language and culture to use in a thesis exploring Mary's Immaculate Conception as a response to Enlightenment thought. Anne Marie is also proud to call Texas home. In today's conversation, Anne Marie shares what it's like being a student on a Catholic campus today as well as some insights into how young people approach the subject of love, dating, and relationships. Love is not blind, according to a contestant on the new season of Love is Blind who had an issue with his (now ex-) fiancée's makeup. His comments got us thinking about research that shows how makeup affects a person's trustworthiness. We also chat about Jess's vegan keratin treatment, under-eye patches as accessories, a new fragrance atelier in Paris, and grooming standards in the military. Plus, we have a special segment—a live podcast recorded at Givaudan's What Is Love? immersive experience, in which Givaudan perfumer Christine Hassan and Head of Global Marketing Insight and Image for Fine Fragrance Arnaud Guggenbuhl talk about what love means to Gen Z. -- This special segment is sponsored by Givaudan, a global leader in Fragrance & Beauty that operates in the business-to-business market, researching and creating products for food, beverage, consumer goods, fragrance, and cosmetics companies. Today we're joined by Lauren Chen, host of BlazeTV's "Pseudo Intellectual," to talk movies, pop culture, and news. First, we talk about movies and TV and how the approach to censoring humor has changed since the shows like "The Office" were being made. Then we discuss Ellen 'Elliot' Page's tragic story of "discovering she was trans" and why despite her claims that this has led to joy, the end result is destruction. We also discuss Ellen's claim that she was harassed on the streets of Los Angeles for being trans, which just so happened to be revealed the day her book launched. Then, Lululemon fired two employees after they called the police on looters – who's going to be held accountable? We also talk about the recent horrifying story of a Syrian refugee running around with a knife and attacking children in France, yet another consequence of uncontrolled open borders. --- Timecodes: (01:10) Intro / movie & TV reviews (09:32) Ellen/Elliot Page (29:54) Lululemon debacle (35:24) Citi Bike incident (40:40) New Orleans guy harasses woman (47:50) Syrian man attacks children in France & immigration policies (58:43) Would You Rather --- Today's Sponsors: Epic Will — be intentional about your family, your values and your wishes.
