We talk about wisdom and Solomon's early lack of it until God steps in, and how that gives us hope in our sinful days.

Do you remember your first day of middle school? If you're anything like me, you went to a public school and saw that everyone comes from different walks of life. But what people don't know is that those years are the most important time for a growing child, and this is where most Christian children will be exposed to some sort of sinful nature. That's why Pastor Bill urges parents to share the wisdom of the Lord with their young ones so that when they're older, they will not depart from it.

At today's Thanksgiving & Testimony Service, Pastor Femi Paul shared an inspiring exhortation titled “Above All & Before All, Get Wisdom!” Referencing Proverbs 4:7-8, he emphasized that wisdom is the most important pursuit—worth any cost. Solomon's story illustrates that seeking wisdom made him great and his reign glorious. Pastor Femi challenged us to prioritize wisdom over material desires. While we often focus on asking God for things, Solomon's example reminds us that seeking understanding brings lasting promotion and a truly remarkable life. Quoting scriptures PFP urged us "Never let wisdom go, and it will make your life glorious!”

He just meant for us to avoid that path or situation altogether. --As a child of God, there are people and situations and people we would be wise to avoid. --Your willpower is limited. You aren't supposed to rely on your willpower to protect you from things that wisdom is supposed to protect you from. --Let your questions be prompted by wisdom and in pursuit of wisdom. The more you pursue wisdom, the more you will be equipped for wise questions, and further understanding of wisdom.
