This week, Mike welcomes Luke Mickelson, the founder of the nonprofit organization Sleep in Heavenly Peace. Mickelson shares the poignant story that led him to build his first bed for a child in need, leading to the creation of Sleep in Heavenly Peace. What began as a simple act of kindness has grown into a global movement. Today, SHP has over 400 chapters in 4 countries and 46 U.S. states, delivering beds to nearly 300,000 children in need. Luke has personally trained and mentored hundreds of chapter leaders, sharing his blueprint for community-driven change and empowering others to serve with heart and purpose. In this episode, Luke discusses the emotional moments that fueled his passion, such as delivering a bed to a young girl named Haley who had never owned one, and the realization of the critical issue of child bedlessness. The interview also emphasizes the joy and purpose found in serving others and how small actions can lead to monumental change. Luke details how volunteers and donations have played a critical role in the organization's success, outlining ways listeners can get involved, from building beds to spreading awareness or even starting their own chapter. Tune in to be inspired and learn how you can make a meaningful difference in your community! As we explore what inclusive education means, we need to talk about what it means to create truly inclusive schoolwide systems, data, and practices. If schoolwide means all students have access to the same foundational features, how do you ensure “all” really means “all” in your Tier 1 PBIS implementation? Joining us to help answer this question is Dr. Sheldon Loman from Portland State University (PSU). Sheldon is a Professor in the Special Education Department at PSU. He has a passion for researching and teaching about inclusive practices to support students with extensive support needs. Most recently, his research explores universal design and how to make schoolwide PBIS more inclusive of students with extensive support needs. Before his work at PSU, Sheldon was a special education teacher and positive behavior support coordinator in a diverse, urban school district in California. Will Doctor reviews all 95 players at Augusta en route to finalizing card for the 89th playing of the Masters Tournament at Augusta National Golf Club. -Reviewing 4 futures outright tickets -Reviewing 3 picks to win any major in 2025 -Going through all 95 players in the Masters Tournament -Adding 1 outright -1 t20, 1 t30 -2 bets "to make the cut" -1 bet "to miss the cut" -4 72-hole matchups -1 first round matchup -3 round 1 three ball matchups -1 t10 after R1 including an 8.2-unit loss at the Valero Texas Open and a failed 9-1 futures ticket on the Houston Cougars in NCAA basketball. He stresses the importance of reviewing picks, especially amid a losing streak, and outlines the four Masters futures he carries from December: Scottie Scheffler (7-1), Ludwig Aberg (14-1), Sung Jae Im (50-1), and Sepp Straka (100-1), with three additional tickets on Sahith Theegala, Tom Kim, and Davis Thompson to win any major. Scottie Scheffler, coming in as the favorite at +525, is praised for consistent elite performance, including no finishes worse than 25th in six events since returning from a hand injury, and podium finishes in his last four starts. His game, including a best putting performance of the season in Houston, is peaking. Rory McIlroy is faded despite strong wins at Pebble Beach and the Players; Will cites driving accuracy issues and suggests 10-1 would be a fairer line than 7.25-1. Jon Rahm, now on the LIV circuit, enters at 16-1 with recent top-10s but inconsistent putting and chipping. Morikawa is also passed over due to final-round collapses, though Will does back him to top 10 in Round 1. Other fades include Bryson DeChambeau (20-1), Justin Thomas (25-1), and Hideki Matsuyama (35-1), due to poor putting or chipping trends. Conversely, Will is bullish on Robert MacIntyre (60-1), who has recorded three straight top-11 finishes and two strong prior Augusta showings. He places both an outright bet and a matchup on him. Victor Hovland is another targeted play, specifically in a matchup over Cam Smith, following his Valspar win and a confident outlook on his improved short game. Shane Lowry, cited for consistency and solid Augusta history, is backed for a top 20, while Russell Henley earns a top-30 ticket thanks to elevated iron play. Several key quotes add depth. Scottie Scheffler credits Texas's varied conditions for developing his shot-making adaptability. Rory McIlroy reflects on family memories and the beauty of Augusta. Morikawa defends media avoidance, which Will critiques as symptomatic of poor mental preparation. Hovland speaks optimistically about short-game improvements with coach Grant Waite, prompting confidence from Will. Aberg's comments reveal awareness of recent struggles, but he remains committed to routine. Sepp Straka remains a strong value at 100-1 with excellent iron play and driving form. He's bet to beat Sam Burns in a first-round matchup, who is faded due to declining performance. Sung Jae Im's ticket has cratered in value, and Will expresses regret on that pick. Spieth is passed over at 40-1 due to erratic iron play, despite solid chipping and putting. Other noted fades include Tommy Fleetwood, Corey Connors, Cam Smith, Patrick Cantlay, Min Woo Lee, and Brooks Koepka, each due to specific statistical weaknesses in approach, short game, or driving. Later segments analyze lower-ranked players, including positive remarks about Phil Mickelson's resurgence and Charles Schwartzel's sharp form. Will picks Mickelson to make the cut, citing recent LIV success. Keegan Bradley and Akshay Bhatia are also featured in favorable matchups. Will wraps with lineup picks for Masters.com, choosing Scheffler, Patrick Reed, Shane Lowry, Davis Thompson, and Straka. We've got something a little different for you on this week's episode - our first retro WITB. As we're entering a period with new equipment being seeded into players' bags (which we can't talk about until embargoes lift), we thought we'd pause the modern WITBs and dive into some retro ones - and where better to start than with Tiger Woods? Joe focuses specifically on the clubs he used to win the 1997 Masters, a tournament he won by 12 shots with no less than four different manufacturers in the bag. We're also popping Tested This Week on the back burner for the next few episodes as we can't quite reveal to you what we're currently testing, so Joe decided to lead a history lesson on some of the best and worst equipment switches in modern history. Think Justin Rose's move to Honma, the Pro V1's first every victory and Mickelson's pre-Ryder Cup club switch. Finally, this week's Ask The Pod seeks advice on trying different grip sizes and types and Joe thinks he has the solution... On this episode of The Marriage Life Coach Podcast, I'm delighted to be joined by a graduate of my Marriage MBA program, Sae Mickelson. Sae is a Chinese medicine practitioner and acupuncturist who spends much of her time with clients through a lens of discovery and growth. In her many years doing this work, she's observed the connection between balance and wellness. And in her time in the Marriage MBA, she was able to draw the same connection more deeply by applying it to her relationship. Balance and wellness are terms we all tend to have our own definition of, and I think you'll love hearing Sae's perspective of these concepts and others she shared. Her wealth of wisdom from her medicinal background and willingness to be open about her experience of the Marriage MBA were just a breath of fresh air! Listen in to our conversation to hear more from Sae's heart about: How to zoom out and take the long view of life and relationships The power of asking “What's my next small choice?” Western culture's impact on our relationships Creating awareness of your natural cycles

In this podcast episode, hosts Diana, Nicole, talk with Michelle Mickelson, AG, and discuss the crucial role of church, cemetery, Native American, and Spanish language records in Southwestern genealogy. They emphasize that these records, often predating government documentation, are indispensable for exploring family relationships, migration patterns, and cultural practices through details found in baptism, marriage, and burial entries. The discussion covers a variety of denominations including Catholic, Episcopal, and Methodist, among others. They also offer strategies for accessing these records, whether through diocesan archives, historical societies, or online platforms like FamilySearch and Ancestry.com. The hosts highlight the unique insights that cemetery records can provide, and discuss specific records for Hispanic and Native American ancestries prevalent in the Southwest. They stress the importance of both online and physical archives for a comprehensive genealogical search, sharing a case study on efficient research methods for accessing Spanish Catholic church records. This is a whiparound rambling Wednesday episode that begins with a hat chat: how many is too many? Shane Bacon joins Brendan Porath to discuss this pressing question before getting to one of the great delights of the year: the European Tour's stop at DLF, the first true “so bad it's good” course in this podcast's history. There is some intel from the ground about a potential hardship that has a few caddies grumbling but might be further evidence that Gary Player is one of our great modern architects. Speaking of Gary, they discuss his tweet that the foam roll bunkers could be color coded and changed, one of many benefits according to Mr. Player. There's also a bit about how some are using whiskey in Delhi as a preventive health device. There's also intel from the ground at the Houston Open, where the Tour might be neutering some Tom Doak work with a big backboard. Cutthroat Corner returns and this time a fan favorite is in the crosshairs. They close with news of some TGL return dates and Phil Mickelson's caddie change.
