Discussing God's view of human sexuality and marital intimacy can be like driving somewhere wonderful along a highway bracketed by two steep and dangerous ditches. One ditch is characterized by flippancy, irreverence, and crassness. With this error, sex is trivialized and all its sacred beauty is stripped away. The second ditch, however, is just as dangerous and is characterized by silence, awkwardness, and joylessness. On this side of the road, sex is cloaked in shame and the good gift is hidden from view. Both ditches are erroneous, idolatrous, and unnecessary. So, how do we keep the car on the road when exploring this super-important, always-relevant, and constantly-pressing issue? Thankfully, we've recruited an able guide to help us steer. Dr. Mark McGinnis is the professor of Old Testament literature, language, and exegesis at Baptist Bible Seminary in Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania. He spent twenty-seven years in full-time pastoral ministry, serving the same church in which he first trusted Christ. He has experience as a youth pastor, senior pastor, and Christian school principal. In addition to publishing many journal articles, Dr. McGinniss has written and contributed to books exploring the theology the Song of Songs and on the theology of the story of Scripture as a whole.

Hurricane and severe weather season can be extremely unpredictable, as can be the recovery from severe storms. Mark McGinnis, an authority in forensic meteorology and an expert in weather hazard planning and weather analysis joined me to share emergency planning methods. During our chat, Mark provided tips on how to best prepare your family for the coming hurricane season and avoid the troubles that can accompany these storms.
Hurricanes can be extremely unpredictable, as can be the recovery from the storms. Months have passed since Hurricane Maria struck Puerto Rico, and nearly 200,000 families and businesses — 16% of the island — remain without power. It is incumbent upon those living in areas at highest risk of being impacted by hurricanes to take storm preparations into their own hands. Taking small steps before the storm hits and knocks out your power can save a lot of headaches and heartache when it’s too late. Being prepared can reduce fear, anxiety, and losses that accompany disasters. Some important tips include stockpiling enough emergency supplies to last you, your loved ones and your pets for at least three days. The emergency kits should include bottled water, non-perishable food, prescription drugs you are taking, emergency radio and a DIY phone charger. Experts also advice to keep handy changes of underwear, comfortable shoes and clean wool socks. Our guest who will be available to discuss emergency planning methods will be Mark McGinnis, an authority in forensic meteorology and an expert in weather hazard planning and weather analysis. His depth of experience in weather preparedness as it relates to increasing safety and reducing associated losses is highly relevant to both home owners as well as local businesses. Mark will provide tips on how to best prepare yourself for the coming hurricane season and avoid the troubles that can accompany these storms.

After dozens of successful broadcast television spots and national infomercials, Mark McGinnis is spending most of his time now producing and directing feature films - where he feels like he is at home and in his element. Recently Mark and his wife / partner Kim, co-authored a book with Jack Canfield, Brian Tracy (co-creator of Chicken Soup for the Soul) & Jack Zufelt - called The DNA of Success - Success Stories. Mark has recently completed his second feature film, "Openings - The Search for Harry". Fantastic tale of a man at his lowest finally "getting it" to find his way back to a decent life!
Psychic Medium and Spiritual coach Terryee Abbott will interview Kim and Mark McGinnis; the creators of the new inspirational feature film Openings - The Search for Harry has just been picked up for broadcast and VOD distribution. With a compelling true-to-life story and a relevant cast of new-age interviewees (Like Joe Vitale and Bruce Lipton… to name a few), this film goes far beyond similar genre films such as The Secret and What The Bleep Do We Know? Why? It's fairly simple - when you can tune into the true Openings in your life, the possibilities for change and growth are amazing. The film does not go so far to say where this 'help' comes from, your higher-self, the collective consciousness, God…? But the results are the same: A sense of purpose, less conflict, and a boat load of opportunities coming your way. angelcoaches.org facebook/angelcoaches
