Comunicar a Guerra, Pensar a Paz: O Mundo Explicado sem Eufemismos Num tempo em que a guerra voltou ao continente europeu e a ameaça nuclear regressou ao vocabulário político, comunicar tornou-se tão decisivo quanto negociar, tão estratégico quanto deter armamento. A forma como entendemos o conflito — e a forma como os líderes o explicam — determina a capacidade de uma sociedade se proteger, se posicionar e, sobretudo, de construir paz. Nesta conversa profunda com um dos mais atentos analistas de geopolítica e segurança internacional, exploramos não apenas o que acontece nas frentes militares, mas aquilo que raramente chega ao espaço público: a lógica das decisões, o medo que move líderes, a propaganda que molda percepções e a fragilidade das democracias perante um mundo multipolar, competitivo e cada vez mais turbulento. A Guerra Não Desapareceu — Apenas Mudou de Forma A guerra do século XXI já não é apenas feita de tanques, artilharia ou drones. É feita de comunicação, de opinião pública, de gestos diplomáticos e de ameaças que pairam mais do que disparam. O conflito na Ucrânia tornou visível uma realidade que muitos preferiam não ver: o regresso do imperialismo territorial, a competição entre grandes potências e a erosão lenta da ordem internacional construída após a Guerra Fria. E, como explica o especialista entrevistado, esta realidade é o resultado direto de um mundo onde já não existe uma potência única capaz de impor regras — e onde vários Estados procuram afirmar a sua posição, mesmo à força. “Falamos Demasiado de Guerra e Demasiado Pouco de Paz” Esta frase, dita logo no início da nossa conversa, resume uma das grandes preocupações: a paz tornou-se um bem adquirido, quase dado por garantido, e deixou de ser pensada como projeto político. Hoje discutimos armamento, sanções, alianças, ofensivas e contra-ofensivas, mas muito raramente discutimos planos reais de paz. A diplomacia parece muitas vezes refém de hesitações, cálculos eleitorais e receios de perder posição. Faltam líderes com visão e coragem para assumir compromissos difíceis. Falta clareza estratégica. Falta, em suma, o que sempre faltou antes dos grandes pontos de viragem da História: vontade de mudar o rumo. Propaganda: A Arma que Já Não Precisa de Mentir A propaganda moderna não opera através de falsidades grosseiras — opera com ângulos, omissões e narrativas cuidadosamente organizadas. Divide sociedades, instala ruído, confunde consensos. E, como lembra o convidado, é um mecanismo estrategicamente desenhado, não um acidente. Hoje, qualquer conflito é também uma batalha pelo centro emocional das populações. A pergunta já não é “quem dispara primeiro?”, mas sim “quem controla a interpretação do que acabou de acontecer?”. E esta disputa é tão séria como qualquer avanço militar. Num ambiente onde autocracias investem fortemente em desinformação, países democráticos só sobrevivem se investirem tanto em educação mediática quanto investem em equipamento militar. A Ameaça Nuclear: Entre a Política e o Medo Há uma década, a maioria das sociedades ocidentais consideraria inaceitável ouvir líderes políticos falar com leveza sobre o uso de armas nucleares. Hoje, essa retórica tornou-se comum. A ameaça nuclear voltou a ser utilizada como instrumento de coerção psicológica — não necessariamente para ser usada, mas para moldar decisões, atrasar apoios, dividir alianças e impor limites invisíveis. E, como explica o analista, esta ameaça não é apenas militar: é emocional. Desestabiliza, silencia, intimida. Perante isto, a resposta das democracias deve ser equilibrada, firme e prudente. Nem ceder ao medo, nem alimentar a escalada. Europa: Entre a Vulnerabilidade e a Oportunidade A União Europeia confronta-se com uma verdade desconfortável: não tem poder militar proporcional ao seu peso económico. E num mundo onde a força voltou a ser a linguagem dominante, esta assimetria torna-se perigosa. Apesar disso, a Europa tem vantagens únicas: capacidade económica para modernizar as suas defesas; alianças históricas que multiplicam o efeito da sua ação; e, sobretudo, uma rede de Estados democráticos cujo valor estratégico reside no coletivo e não no individual. Mas falta ainda algo fundamental: coragem política para agir antes de ser tarde. A Ética da Guerra: A Linha que Nos Define No final, chegamos ao ponto mais difícil: a ética. O que separa uma guerra justa de uma guerra injusta? O que é aceitável negociar? Que compromissos violam princípios fundamentais? E como explicar a uma criança porque é que um país decidiu invadir outro? A resposta do convidado é simples e trágica: as guerras deixam sempre lições — mas as sociedades nem sempre as aprendem. Of course, the decisive moment was the call to come in under the Safety Car and it was another great call from our strategy team here and those working back in Milton Keynes. From there on, Max didn't put a foot wrong, drove two incredible stints, taking great care of his tyres and managed to create a solid gap to the McLarens, which drove us to this most welcome race win! Yuki managed to recover to score points and his pace was promising at the end of the race once outside of the DRS train. We'll need to perform again in Abu Dhabi and we will have absolute focus on getting the car into a position where Max can fight at the front and look ahead. We had a very strong start and from there we executed a perfect race with strategy, tyre management, pit stops and communication. By the end of the second stint, I saw Piastri struggled to overtake me on fresh tyres, and at that moment I realised we had to go for the podium. I was pushing to the limit of the car but 6 laps to the end something suddenly broke! I started losing a lot of lap time in sectors 1 and 3 but I managed to keep it together and bring it home for P3! Today's result is testament to the team's hard work; I knew we were taking the right steps and, despite some difficult race weekends along the way, I had full confidence in what we are doing. I'm extremely proud of everyone, we deserve this P5 in the Constructor's Championship, and I look forward to finishing the season on another high in Abu Dhabi! Let's go. JAMES VOWLES: Exceptional. Really fantastic performance from Carlos and the team when it counted and every detail adds up. Getting on the podium by milliseconds really is such a just reward for the incredible work the whole team is putting in this year. Leonardo Fornaroli: It sounds amazing. I didn't have many expectations because it was a new  car and my first time working with an English team, so it was a bit scary but their mentality since  day one – I understood I made the right choice to go with them. Every day they were able to  make me feel at home. We had so much fun over the season and they were able to give the right  suggestions to help me improve, to make me feel better after a mistake or a bad  race or moment. Also, having Roman as a teammate this year, we've known each other for three  years, as we were together at TRIDENT, but in different categories. He has good experience in  Formula 2, so I was able to learn a lot from him, and he made me improve as well. To achieve this now, it's a massive relief, and it's a big boost of confidence, because I was able to show what I'm capable of, and also I'm quite happy about how the season went. For sure, there were some mistakes I could have avoided, some for inexperience and some were just my mistakes, but it's part of the game. The Championship is very competitive. You always have to be at the limit to score good results. So mistakes can happen, but nevertheless, I learned, was able to improve, and now to finally win this Championship, it's a massive relief. It was a dream for me to become Champion with one round to go so I could race and experience the race with a lot less pressure. But still, I will do the best I can, because the fight for the Teams' Championship is still on. So I will push as much as I can in Abu Dhabi, and try to still improve.

And as humiliated and crushed as she was, her foremost thought was about Bonosus, and his magnificent cock. Even now, being led through the streets, her cunt was wet and ached to feel him buried inside her. Before she knew it, they had arrived at their destination, a small area in the north of the city, with a plot dug into the ground. Este condiția impusă la sfârșitul lunii octombrie a.c. de SUA, intenția sancțiunii fiind ca firmele din domeniul energetic, cele mai mari din Rusia, să nu mai poată finanța efortul de război. Timpul este scurt. Într-o săptămână ar trebui găsite soluțiile, dacă termenul sancțiunii nu va fi prelungit. Unii experți interpretează ofertele de vânzare ca niște chilipiruri, dar în cazul Lukoil, companie care este prezentă și în România și deci mai interesantă și pentru piața locală, situația este complicată. Cu această ocazie, putem vedea cât de extinsă este activitatea Lukoil în lume. Compania fondată în anul 1991, al doilea producător rusesc de petrol după Rosneft, este o companie integrată, care include întregul lanț de valoare, de la explorare și exploatare, până la rafinare și distribuție. În Africa, Lukoil este foarte prezentă în domeniul petrolului și gazelor naturale. În Camerun, compania rusească deține o treime dintr-un important perimetru de gaze din zona offshore. În Egipt, Lukoil operează două câmpuri de gaze. De asemenea, compania rusească are exploatații energetice în Nigeria și Ghana, iar din Congo obține gaz natural lichefiat. Se poate spune că Lukoil a fost bine primită în statele africane bogate în resurse energetice. De fapt, este o strategie a companiei rusești care după anul 2022 și-a extins operațiunile în Africa tocmai pentru a încerca să își diversifice zonele geografice în care este prezentă și sursele de obținere a veniturilor. Calculul a fost ca afacerile în scădere din Europa să fie compensate prin creșterea pe alte piețe. Retragerea Lukoil din Africa, dacă se va întâmpla, creează o oportunitate pentru companiile europene, în special de gaze naturale. Începând cu anul viitor, statelor europene li se interzice să încheie noi contracte de aprovizionare cu gaze din Rusia, iar contractele de lungă durată se mai pot derula până la 1 ianuarie 2028. Pentru europeni, retragerea Lukoil din Africa are o miză dublă: pe de o parte, se poate asigura o zonă de asigurare alternativă, importantă în contextul în care Uniunea Europeană vrea să reducă la minimum aprovizionarea cu materii prime energetice din Rusia. Pe de altă parte, companiile europene vor avea oportunitatea să achiziționeze participații la proiectele energetice din Africa și să exploateze unele resurse alături de parteneri locali. Că firmele europene vor folosi sau nu această șansă rămâne de văzut. Deocamdată, de activele deținute de Lukoil în Africa sunt interesați mulți investitori. Să ajungem în România. Lukoil are o rafinărie cu o cotă de piață de 20%, un număr de 320 de benzinării, care dețin o cotă de piață de 10% și o participație de 87% din perimetrul offshore Trident, restul aparținând Romgaz. Într-o analiză publicată în revista NewMoney, avocata Oana Ijdelea, specializată în domeniul energetic, arată că Lukoil România este doar o verigă într-un lanț complex, cu structuri de proprietate încrucișate, vehiculate prin firme din Elveția, Cipru și Olanda. Concluzia: este greu de spus ce ar cumpăra un eventual investitor, cu atât mai mult statul român existând riscul ca operațiunile comerciale să continue nestingherite, dar sub altă formă. Fără îndoială, miza cea mai mare a activelor Lukoil în România este participația la perimetrul Trident, un zăcământ estimat la 30 miliarde de metri cubi de gaze. Marea întrebare este la ce preț s-ar putea răscumpăra investiția de până acum a Lukoil știind că plata efectuată de Romgaz către Exxon a stârnit multe controverse. Statul român ar putea să se implice în cazul Lukoil printr-o preluare a companiei, fie prin administrare temporară, fie printr-o „naționalizare tehnică”, după cum explică Oana Ijdelea. În concluzie, sunt multe variante de luat în calcul și multe neclarități.

Today, he also holds defense-related master's degrees from the Naval Postgraduate School, the Air Command and Staff College, and the Eisenhower School for National Security and Resource Strategy.William has served in nuclear-powered submarines across a variety of classes and mission profiles, including duty as the Weapons Officer of a fast-attack submarine and the Executive Officer of a Trident missile submarine. Ashore, he has served as a tactical evaluator on an inspection team responsible to assess the combat readiness of U.S. submarines, and he currently works in the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD CAPE) in the Pentagon. He will return to sea duty in the summer of 2026.He has his own passion for exercise, which is not  always a clean fit with the culture of the submarine community, as you'll hear in this episode.He also writes on leadership, ethics, and military topics.
