I talked about the life lessons I gained from each season, particularly the importance of gratitude, mindset, and choosing happiness, no matter the challenges life throws at you. As I embark on a new chapter in life, I want to focus on empowering others to take proactive steps toward their health and well-being. Key Takeaways:-Teenage Years: Life was full of possibilities and discovery, but looking back, the host reflects on the importance of not worrying about others' opinions and focusing on what brings personal happiness.-The twenties: These were years of milestones, including marriage and starting a business, but also a time of learning about balance and choosing gratitude as a means to make life easier.-Motherhood and Loss: Endured multiple miscarriages before welcoming her daughter, Faith. Recently my young kids were asking something we've probably all joked about, and it was along the lines of "What would you wish for if a genie could grant you one wish?" The conversation had me thinking that, joking aside, I would wish for things to feel easier. Sometimes the overwhelm of everything going on in my life just feels too hard. But then, that thought had me thinking even more: what if "the hard" is the purpose? This short episode is more of my reasoning behind that realization, to give perspective, and to acknowledge that this is part of the process towards growth, love, and living a life that is meaningful and good. Plus, I answer what I would wish for if that genie did magically appear to me. Host a Tricks and Treats gathering! He is a theoretical physicist whose primary interests have been in fundamental questions in physics, especially those concerning the elementary particles, their interactions and cosmological implications. His long-term fascination in general scaling phenomena evolved into a highly productive collaboration on the origin of universal scaling laws that pervade biology from the molecular genomic scale up through mitochondria and cells to whole organisms and ecosystems. He is the author of several books, including Scale: The Universal Laws of Life, Growth, and Death in Organisms, Cities, and Companies. In this episode, we focus on Scale. We talk about the study of scaling, and what we can learn from it. We talk about regularities (scaling laws), but also different constraints across different scales. We focus a lot on biological systems, and talk about metabolic rates, growth, longevity, and aging and death. We discuss if and how we could extend our lifespans. We also discuss why we need a science of cities and urbanization, with the future of humanity and the planet in mind. -- A HUGE THANK YOU TO MY PATRONS/SUPPORTERS: PER HELGE LARSEN, JERRY MULLER, HANS FREDRIK SUNDE, BERNARDO SEIXAS, OLAF ALEX, ADAM KESSEL, MATTHEW WHITINGBIRD, ARNAUD WOLFF, TIM HOLLOSY, HENRIK AHLENIUS, JOHN CONNORS, FILIP FORS CONNOLLY, DAN DEMETRIOU, ROBERT WINDHAGER, RUI INACIO, ZOOP, MARCO NEVES, COLIN HOLBROOK, SIMON COLUMBUS, PHIL KAVANAGH, MIKKEL STORMYR, SAMUEL ANDREEFF, FRANCIS FORDE, TIAGO NUNES, FERGAL CUSSEN, HAL HERZOG, NUNO MACHADO, JONATHAN LEIBRANT, JOÃO LINHARES, STANTON T, SAMUEL CORREA, ERIK HAINES, MARK SMITH, JOÃO EIRA, TOM HUMMEL, SARDUS FRANCE, DAVID SLOAN WILSON, YACILA DEZA-ARAUJO, ROMAIN ROCH, DIEGO LONDOÑO CORREA, YANICK PUNTER, ADANER USMANI, CHARLOTTE BLEASE, NICOLE BARBARO, ADAM HUNT, PAWEL OSTASZEWSKI, NELLEKE BAK, GUY MADISON, GARY G HELLMANN, SAIMA AFZAL, ADRIAN JAEGGI, PAULO TOLENTINO, JOÃO BARBOSA, JULIAN PRICE, EDWARD HALL, HEDIN BRØNNER, DOUGLAS FRY, FRANCA BORTOLOTTI, GABRIEL PONS CORTÈS, URSULA LITZCKE, SCOTT, ZACHARY FISH, TIM DUFFY, SUNNY SMITH, JON WISMAN, DANIEL FRIEDMAN, WILLIAM BUCKNER, PAUL-GEORGE ARNAUD, LUKE GLOWACKI, GEORGIOS THEOPHANOUS, CHRIS WILLIAMSON, PETER WOLOSZYN, DAVID WILLIAMS, DIOGO COSTA, ANTON ERIKSSON, CHARLES MOREY, ALEX CHAU, AMAURI MARTÍNEZ, CORALIE CHEVALLIER, BANGALORE ATHEISTS, LARRY D. Hi there, I want to be very honest. In todays episode my mind is a little bit everywhere. I apologize!! I talk about what is going on in my life currently, improving yourself and your mindset. I don't go into depth about it all..I broadly talk about the concept. As of not I have plans to improve my audio and set up coming soon!! A lot of changes will be made that is making me so excited to share with everyone who listens. Anyways todays episode is not the best (in my opinion) but it is ok. Hope everyone has a really good day and week ahead!! xoxo brit

This is the last episode of this season. My 64th episode of the Unbuckled podcast. Fresh and in real time, I share about life as it unfolds, what I am learning from my Mother-In-Law's visit, how I am navigating grief and most important the downloads I have been getting about Jesus Christ, spirituality, the connections to the divine feminine and the roles we play as Mothers and Whores. Its truly open and transparent conversation with you my dear listeners. I hope with this episode, as with all the shows I have had the pleasure of doing, you are all to know you are not alone, you have permission to unbuckle yourself from any and all things that no longer serve you, you are loved, you are worthy, your challenges are opportunities and you can navigate building a life you love.

A Sermon by The Rev Bryan Callen on March 21, 2021, the Fifth Sunday in lent
An early career in the military prepared Rachel well for the negotiations that lay ahead as a mum to 3 young boys! After 9 years at home with them, a little nudge from some former military friends encouraged Rachel to find her way back to work in 2015 through Tideway's Returner Programme. As an integral part of Tideway's ground-breaking engineering project to clean up the Thames, Rachel found that the skills she'd developed before and during her career break served her very well back in the workplace. Five years on, and Rachel now heads up HSEQ, leading on health, safety, environment and quality assurance for Tideway. Find out how Rachel adjusted to taking on a new role after a long break, how she feels about being back at work and how her career has gone from strength to strength. Karen and Anna will highlight some key takeaways and tips from Rachel's story to help and inspire you with your own return to work. "I think an important thing that I've learned is that it's okay to be just me. I was just myself in interviews and I had nothing to hide and it obviously paid off. I think just being authentic is key to going back into a career."
