On Mar 28, 2023, the trial of Trezell and Jacqueline West began. The couple stands accused of killing two of their adopted sons, Orrin, and Orson West, who were four and three at the time. According to the parents, the boys went missing from their California City, California backyard on December 21, 2020. On December 21, 2020, Trezell and Jacqueline West called 911 and reported their two adopted sons, Orrin and Orson, missing. According to the Wests, the 4- and 3-year-old boys had been playing in the family's fenced-in yard while Trezell had gathered wood. On one of his trips back, he noticed they were gone. An intensive search immediately commenced, but there was no sign of the boys.As the public began to hear the story's details, many concluded that Jacqueline and Trezell's account simply didn't make any sense. Police also quickly added the parents to the top of their suspect list. Searches continued but with no luck. Then, on March 1, 2022, Jacqueline and Trezell West were arrested for murder. Orrin and Orson West had a sad start to life.  They were removed from their care of their biological mother when they were tiny and were placed in the care of their adoptive parents, Trezell and Jacqueline West. The boys lived with four other siblings in California.  In December 2020, their ‘father' Trezell claims they went outside to play and were never seen again.   The local community in California searched alongside the police for months and months.  Jacqueline and Trezell had their other children placed into care, allegedly because of ‘threats' made by the public.   Police interviewed neighbors who said they had never actually seen Orrin and Orson in the area. How could two little boys vanish, possibly months before they were reported missing? This case seemed like it may be turning cold.  Until March 2022, when Trezell and Jacqueline were each arrested on counts of second-degree murder, willful cruelty to a child and  false reporting of an emergency.  Police have now said that Orrin and Orson were murdered by the people who were meant to care for them most, months before the search for them began.  The boys still remain missing. 4-year-old Orrin and 3-year-old Orson West were reported missing on December 21, 2020 by their adoptive parents, Trezell and Jacqueline West. Trezell told police that the boys wandered out of their California City, California backyard while he was gathering firewood. Multiple searches were performed, but no trace of the boys were found. As authorities dug deeper, questions began to arise as to whether or not the boys had ever even set foot in California City at all. Now, over a year after they were last seen, Trezell and Jacqueline have been arrested for their murders. Orson West, 3 years old, and Orrin West, 4 years old, were last seen in the 10700 block of Aspen Avenue in California City, CA on December 21, 2020. The brothers were playing in the backyard of their home. The reward for information regarding their disappearance now totals $100,000. Both boys are described as black males with black hair and brown eyes. They are about 3 feet tall and weigh around 40 pounds. They were last seen wearing black sweaters and dark-colored sweatpants, according to police. Anyone with information that can assist in locating Orson and Orrin is asked to contact the California City Police Department by calling dispatch at 760-373-8606.
