We just tried to have some fun on this one. At least they didn't quit? Maybe? The Sixers were in the game, but go down 3-0 to the Celtics in their first round playoff series. Mike continues to do the podcast in darkness, and now lays out how dumb he thinks everyone is. For the second half of the podcast, we surprise Mike with a special appearance from Andrew Sharp of Greatest Of All Talk (which you have to pay for). Sixers Adam had to cancel so the Sharp surprise both delighted and infuriated Mike. Sign up for the Ricky Bark In The Park team for Providence Animal Center here. Raise $50 and get the shirt. But during the coronavirus pandemic, the limited on-site staff have to pick up all the work. They've also canceled fundraisers that they depend on to keep the Center going. On this episode of KYW In Depth, Carol MacKenzie talks with Providence Animal Center's Director of Advancement Justina Calgiano about what the shelter needs and the specific ways they need people to help during this crisis. Hint: have you ever wanted to foster a fur baby? Providence Animal Center's website: https://providenceac.org/ "We realize people are up against some really tough odds right now. Finances are dwindling, and that's really hard, and it's really upsetting. But pets are family. And so we're trying to keep the family intact right now." - Justina Calgiano, Providence Animal Center. >>>
Kevin O’Connor of The Ringer was unbanned because of his beard and sweetness and talked about what he’s doing with his free time, the fact that the Patriots should have kept Jimmy G and traded Tom Brady and then he did a WEEI audition, the Sixers playoff rotation, who his favorite guitar player ever is, up and coming female pop artists, and he has to choose the winners of two matchups of the Field Of 64 Jigsaws.
